Posted on December 16, 2025 20 Comments

The Prime Minister has announced a cabinet reshuffle in a desperate attempt to breathe life into his chaotic and dysfunctional government as the nation is poised to enter Election Year 2026. But it isn't going to work. On the contrary. It just confirms that the PM has lost the plot and that he and his government are totally unfit to govern the … [Read more...] about # SITIVENI RABUKA REARRANGES THE DECK CHAIRS ON THE TITANIC. # THE ODPP DESCENDS INTO MORE DYSFUNCTION UNDER DRUNKEN NANCY’S ITAUKEI CABAL

Posted on December 16, 2025 7 Comments

Yet again, the nation's prosecutors at the ODPP are claiming "oversight" as an excuse for their incompetence in delaying yet another criminal trial - underlining the folly of having sidelined the substantive DPP, Christopher Pryde. The ODPP's failure to meet court deadlines in the drugs case against Hari Punja's grandson comes on top of … [Read more...] about # THE ODPP DESCENDS INTO MORE DYSFUNCTION UNDER DRUNKEN NANCY’S ITAUKEI CABAL

Posted on December 13, 2025 13 Comments

Having trouble separating fact from fiction? You're not alone. It would all be very simple if not for an extraordinary degree of disinformation being peddled by the offices of state and if the Fijian media did its job properly. But here's a brief tour of the horizon of where things stand with the self-exiled substantive DPP, Christopher … [Read more...] about # WHAT’S REALLY HAPPENING IN THE BIZARRE CASE OF THE DPP, CHRISTOPHER PRYDE (UPDATED SUNDAY WITH AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO READERS)

In an astonishing move that will have serious diplomatic consequences if the New Zealand government cares about its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Fiji has sent Fijian agents to pursue the exiled substantive DPP, Christopher Pryde, at his home in suburban Christchurch and also harass his neighbours. # WOULD THE AUSTRALIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER PLEASE PUT HIS TROUSERS BACK ON? THE SULU IS EMBARASSING

Posted on December 12, 2025 20 Comments

We all know that the Aussies and Kiwis are falling over themselves to suck up to Fiji to keep it out of the clutches of the Chinese and inside the orbit of the democracies. But does the Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, Peter Roberts, really have to wear a sulu to official functions at which he is representing his government and the Australian … [Read more...] about # WOULD THE AUSTRALIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER PLEASE PUT HIS TROUSERS BACK ON? About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
