Lynda Tabuya has gone on the offensive against the People’s Alliance Executive Council and the disciplinary committee that found the sex and drug allegations against her proven.
In an astonishing interview with Radio New Zealand, the Minister for Bonking and Weed says those who have pronounced her guilty have always had it in for her.
Tabuya specifically mentions two unnamed lawyers on the disciplinary committee who she says opposed her when she was made deputy leader of the party.
What on earth would possess Lynda Tabuya to turn her guns on her own party? Madness and desperation. She knows that after the Fiji Sun turned on her so spectacularly this morning, she is toast.
The Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, cannot save her. He may have tried to if his opposition was Fijileaks and Grubsheet. But not if one of the two major newspapers in Fiji has branded Lynda Tabuya a “straight-faced liar “and called for her removal.
Why is she playing to the gallery overseas? Perhaps because her claim to be a victim in Fiji is no longer an option. How could two people pursing personal vendettas bulldoze the PAP disciplinary committee and then the Executive Council into acting against the Minister without proper evidence? Short answer. They couldn’t.
By attacking her own party and targeting office holders merely doing their jobs, Lynda Tabuya has effectively shot herself in the head. As Grubsheet observed in a previous posting, she is the real “enemy within”. And unless Sitiveni Rabuka is also gripped by desperation and madness, the Minister for Bonking and Weed is politically dead.
Thank God I never took up the Great Temptress’s offer to become her PR advisor. Because what’s the biggest danger to her reputation? Lynda Tabuya herself.

This could be a case study on “How to Self-Destruct” without any encouragement – for future generations
As expected she will do anything to bring anyone down. And she will destroy everything good in her path. Husband, children, and the party.
In a decent world, she would have been stood down weeks ago. Just so she is kept safe and so is the party.
Tabuya’s decent world is her bubble of herself and self madness.
Word of caution Lynda…we are not buying into targeting women and all. Just stop.
I think the weed has finally taken toll on her…very sad indeed…I hope she finds peace in the Living God, Yahweh…
St Giles is running free clinics today. Lynda can check in for rehab.
“Lynda, did you sleep with Radrodro while on an official visit to Australia and smoke marijuana while on a diplomatic travel allocation?”
“Lynda – why do people in your own party not like you? Explain the reason? What has changed? Why were you removed from the Whip position by your party and the Speaker of the House?”
Above are the questions that RNZ needed to ask Lynda. Nothing more.
RNZ is a dead as platform. You will be lucky if 20 people like their post on social media everyday. They are NZ based reporters who no-one really follows. Not even the Pacific people in NZ.
But Lynda digs her grave deeper. As expected and no surprises.
Lynda, women in NZ can tell you one thing. What you have done is nothing to do with targeting women. No one told you to smoke dope and bonk a fellow MP. No one told you to call a man in your room and have sexual encounter with him while his wife slept in another room. That wife, Mrs Radrodro, then went on a stampede looking for you in Parliament. Forgotten already?
In NZ, MPs have been removed instantly for sexual affairs regardless of their gender type. RNZ should have reminded you of that Lynda.
Shoooo away with this targeting women madness. No women is buying that BS today or ever.
Now that she has been removed as deputy leader, it follows that the only appropriate and next natural progression for her is the position of party leader and Prime Minister in God’s good time.
All that is required is for her and her supporters to pray and fast a little harder and the vulagi God from Israel will present her with the top prize.
Interestingly, she has not denied the bonking and taking the weed.
But bonking between two consenting adults is not really a crime, even though it may be hypocritical? But the parliament is full of hypocrites – I believe everyone of them.
I reckon every young girl and woman in Fiji should get a distinct tattoo from their role model so that they can be easily identified in future. More so, they should record their “sexapades” so that there is no doubt left in future should it be required.
The people of Fiji are truly blessed with such a natural and beautiful leader.
But beware a lady scorned, as they say.
I want to see her open her mouth big time now. Because I have a distinct feeling she has a lot to say and tell.
Lol…. bonking between two consenting adults is not really a crime, even though it may be hypocritical?
May I remind you that this woman holds a position in government and was away on taxpayer funded ministerial duties when bonking a married male minister, with her being a married woman herself.
So whilst it may not be a “crime” she needs to uphold Government code of conduct. What picture does Lyndas actions paint for young women today? That it’s ok to abuse the sacredness of marriage, indulge in extra martial affairs left right and Centre anywhere anytime over drugs and alcohol? Lord forbid!
And yes indeed- it’s been a while with Lynda not pursuing legal action or opening her mouth due to the fact that she well knows she would only shoot herself in the foot. In a court of law ALL evidence needs to be presented. That’s what she’s afraid of. If she had the balls, she’d spill and pursue legal actions. She’d deny these accusations. But she HASNT! Time will tell
She needs to go. A shameful immoral example of a ”woman” who has blinded the minds of her remaining gullible followers in the process
How convenient for Lynda – fall back on “poor me being abused because I’m a woman in a man’s world” and then continue to lie to all and sundry.
If the PM does not remove her completely, questions need to be asked what Lynda has over the PM because at the moment, he’s behaving like a bloke tied down because she knows something to bring him down as well.
There’s something very rotten happening in the state of Camelot and it needs someone in Fiji with amazing investigative journalism skills to ferret it out. The opposition is loving every moment of this. I know for a fact that Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum and Frank Bainimarama are both noting every single bit of information about this whole saga and will build up enough weapons to unleash a nuclear winter on the Coalition come the next elections.
I have a feeling that both Lynda and the PM are running away. But how long and how far will they run?
Wailei, cant put it past Lynda to run off with the PM lol
Would RNZ now do the honour on behalf of the bonking Ministers and interview Mrs Radrodro for the truth? If Tabuya believes that people are “pouncing” on her then there is one way to find out.
Or PAP has to release all findings of the investigations
Let’s see how strong the media is after all.
Soon she will be playing the race card.
Saw someone comment about International Women’s Day 2024 before. It is my lunch hour and I am just catching up as the buzz at work about Grubsheet is manic today.
As a man in a leadership position, I am sad for our women who uphold their virtues well. They are quietly reading these posts every day. They also discuss the impact this is having on their daughters who also read the comments. They feel that their girls are better judges of good leadership and character.
I hope the Honourable Prime Minister does the right thing. Our women have worked too hard to empower themselves and their daughters. We don’t need this sort of ridiculous leaders in the government. This is an example if our values eroding fast and right infront of our eyes. There is no regard for accountability and respect.
Vinaka PM. I know you will do the right thing for our women. Stand Tabuya down.
Never seen women so fired up at work. Everyone is refreshing Grubsheet by minutes. And a special Whatsapp group is set at work to provide updates whenever a new post goes up on Grubsheet and Fijileaks.
Mind you, our Pacific colleagues in Vanuatu, Samoa and Tonga are keeping a tab and joined the Whatsapp group too.
Women want Lynda Tabuya out.
That’s telling on a International Women’s Day week! Amen.
For a lawyer she is not too clever.
Where did she qualify from and where did she work as a lawyer?
Surely hasn’t learnt the basics too well. Shame.
The best thing LT can do right is shut her pie hole instead of doubling down. Every time she opens her mouth, she puts her foot in it. She’s beginning to lose respect from every section of the community.
Lynda Tabuya – Enough of the victim mentality. It’s not working.
Simple fact – you reap what you sow.
Don’t get too excited Fiji.
It will be another one month before our vamalua Biden of a PM Rabuka gets into gear to stand her down completely.
By then this house of cards for the Coalition will be gone.
Fijians have had enough.
Call for a snap election and get these hooligans out the door.
Golriz Ghahraman, a New Zealand MP resigned following shoplifting allegations in January of this year.
Lynda Tabuya – Your own party deemed you unfit to hold the position of Deputy Leader due to your drug, alcohol and sexual misconduct. This is a very SERIOUS issue.
Do the right thing and step down else let’s see you seek legal action. In so doing, all evidence can be bought forward for the world to see and judge for themselves.
You’re fast losing credibility and respect. Every second person I converse with has had something to say about lost faith and lost confidence in you. A terrible, terrible “role model”
The ball is in your court:
“It’s most unfortunate that as a woman I continue to be targeted with my removal last year as leader of government business and now as deputy party leader.” Tabuya
She said the party must stand for fairness and justice and applying the law equally based on evidence and not allegations.
Fair enough. Benefit of the doubt.
Let Fiji know that this is all not true. Bring Aseri and his wife with you to an open media platform. End of the story.
Note: You were never a leader Tabuya. You were just a user. Leaders serve. You got served.
Saw this post on Facebook and made me think. Our leaders have forgotten that they are there to serve the country and especially those in need. We have forgotten to be true guardians of all that we must uphold and treasure. Our i-taukei values have been challenged and as a society we must come together to analyze where we are going wrong.
Hope some sense prevails about the gravity of this situation. It is not only the sex scandal but all what is happening since then that requires more thought by the wise leaders. Any unwise leader left uncontrolled will harm everyone. The PAP Committee should be commended for their deliberations. Over to the PM now.

Finish.
Finito.
Kalas.
Sa oti.
Overrated.
Go home.
I bet my last dollar those two women in PAP she complained about are way more intelligent than this clown.
Too much weed killing your braincells.
Cavuka, lol
Just resign, chiuuu
The same standards should be applied to all. I tend to sympathise with the minister who has been removed unfairly as the deputy party leader. I do not believe that bonking between two consenting adults is a sackable crime. What happens in a private bedroom between two or more consenting adults is between or amongst them. No one else’s business, I believe. Even smoking weed – it is a very common passtime as we all know. Why aren’t we saying anything about the “brown label”?
So the righteous, religious and hypocritical bigots in the party management who terminated her should have a good look at themselves. How many of them are hypocrites, how many have had sex outside their marriage, how many have smoked weed? Moreover, the righteous, hypocritical bigots should remove the party leader if the same standards were applied to him.
But, oh yeah, that was a long time ago and he has since apologised profusely, so it is all forgiven and forgotten as the vulagi Bible says. The party leader is “Moses” now and he will be opening up the “Red Sea in Fiji” soon and perform miracles. I have a distinct feeling that some miracles are imminent in Fiji. Fiji is the new Promised Land and the people are now the Chosen People. So miracles are a foregone conclusion.
Agreed. Some or all of her alleged actions in Melbourne may not be indictible. In a legal sense.
Lying – if it is proven- in this matter to her party leader / PM should be the basis of firing her – it’s a loss of confidence in her integrity to the party and her ministerial role.
However it likely will end up being “let God judge” , forgive, reconcile, forget and move forward !
Just ridiculous,
You have ridiculously low standards if you think a Minister on a tax payer funded business trip should be conducting themselves in this way. You are normalizing this behavior.
Because a lot of people in society smoke weed, we should be fine with it? She is a Minister. They both should be out.
People who are not addicts and don’t smoke weed would not agree with what you are saying. This is denial. That’s one of the first things about addiction. The addict is in denial that they have a problem. The first step is to admit the problem.
It does affect work, home, relationships. Fiji needed the very best people to create a better Fiji. How can you not see that? This is not even mediocrity.
This is a very important position which requires a high level of integrity and self control, a clear mind and to be an example to the youth of Fiji. She should be telling the youth not to drink and smoke!
I personally do have a problem with an entire bottle of Jack Daniels that was most likely paid for by taxpayers and an entire bottle shows me that she is an addict. Do we want addicts in government? Show any example of an addict being able to make real change in the world. There are very few examples and they did not need to make critical decisions for a nation.
We need sober, level headed people and to think that has no bearing on how she makes decisions for Fiji is ridiculous. Yes it sucks for her that she got caught and the others didn’t if they are all doing same.
Let me ask you. How many years could she have spoke up against the philandering men… she didn’t did she? She was part of it too. She wanted to gain power from these men so she said nothing to raise the standard, did she?
Now you are saying it’s hypocritical when she had the platform to raise the issue any time! Just wow. She can speak up any time she wants rather than having you beat around the bush for her. She seems to have no problem speaking up so let’s hear everything.
Sooner or later standards have to be raised. Just like many people get away with many thing in Fiji such as wife beating, fraud, etc does that now mean that no wife beater should be convicted? Of course not. It’s time to raise the bar. The wife beaters should be investigated. Having possession of a ton of weed on a government trip abroad should be investigated. Drinking excessively should be investigated. Spending taxpayers money on very expensive items should be investigated.
You can’t have addicts in these positions whether alcohol is legal or not.
Why don’t you call out all the people that are doing the same. Why don’t you do something to raise the standard rather than NORMALIZE this atrocious behavior.
You don’t even realize that high functioning people in the world operate because you are of the same mind set. Go learn about addiction and get back to us. Yes there are a lot of addicts here, well we need healthy people if Fiji has a hope of improving. We need the brightest and the best and strong minds. We don’t need average people. Please do tell me how weak minds can bring Fiji forward. Please make a case for what she can do for Fiji. There are better people for the role that do have integrity and are healthier minded.
The problem is the Prime Minister is an oaf, easily played and swayed, and completely lacking of a vision for this country. Other leaders from around the world could easily stand up and articulate their vision and mission, and the transformation they wish to make to make everbody’s lives better. This one when asked what was his vision for Fiji said in a radio interview in San Francisco that he would look to the Deed of Cession of 1874 to guide him. Goodness gracious me that’s 150 years old. This is why he is incapable of making a decision about Ms “LT.” His only yardstick is his own personal survival and being guided by the DoC.
Next stop- Room 23, St. Giles Hotel.
PM please remove this woman immediately and cut your losses short! She is a termite who will infest and take the entire party down.
She has zero conscience and has no remorse whatsoever for her actions.
She’s now on a rampage trying to salvage her sorry self. Too late Lynda. Kudos to the PA Committee for making the right decision. PM seems to be dragging his feet causing more damage to PA.
Well Lynda, you got handled this time. Your opponents within pounced on an opportunity to remove you as DPL. An opportunity presented to them by your own stupidity.
Instead of shutting up, you continue to rattle off like the loose cannon that you are.
Ever notice when she speaks it’s not her real voice. She is putting it on.
Everything about her is a fraud.
She has only one gear and that’s to seize power. It’s sociopathic.
To look at a camera and say anything to get her way shows what a fraud she was all along. That is years and years of practice.
Lasa i tuba meaning adultery adds to the national violence rates in Fiji. We agree Lynda. So do you.
Now stand down as you are our national shame that adds to this statistic. Radrodro is punished. Now it is your turn.

Take note of the swollen eyes in the article above.
I’m worried about her mental health.
She craves attention and validation from the public on a daily basis.
’Look at me!’
It would be better to sit her community butt in her office and do some real work. Quietly too eh?
We don’t need low value, fluffy PR gimmicks from this kookoo Minister.
Stand her down PM! She wont resign. And by the constant daily social media postings about shallow topics, I’m afraid she’s also losing her mind. What’s with the fake accent, lol?
You cant build with a raving lunatic of a narcissist who still craves attention from the village.
*Vamadua
If the PAP committee removed her as Deputy Leader based on what the Sun refers to as hard evidence, is there is any hard evidence of suspected drug use? And if it is true that the Fiji Police have a no drop policy on drug cases, there should now be a police investigation. Including the allegation that LT may have used a diplomatic bag to transport drugs. Then we will see if she remains a Minister.
