Fresh from being saved by the Prime Minister, the Queen of Tarts and prospective Minister for Information, Lynda Tabuya, still can’t lie straight in bed at night and tells the gullible Fiji Times Coalition propagandist, Cheerieann Wilson, a fresh set of lies on the front page of Monday’s paper.
CLAIM: Lynda Tabuya says she has lodged a complaint at the Parramatta Police Station in Sydney against Alexandra Forwood for allegedly leaking her pornographic video.
FACT: The Parramatta Police Station says it has NO record of any complaint being lodged by Lynda Tabuya.
So what was she doing outside the Parramatta Police Station in a Facebook posting a week ago? Why on earth would she be there if she wasn’t filing a complaint? For the Facebook photo opportunity, of course. What else?

FACT: Cybercrime in Australia is a federal responsibility.
CLAIM: Lynda Tabuya says the complaint she filed at Parramatta Police Station is “now being investigated by the Australian Federal Police in co-ordination with Fijian authorities and Interpol”.
FACT: If the complaint is being investigated by the AFP – the Federal police agency – what was she doing posing outside the Parramatta Police Station? That is where the NSW State Police have their western Sydney headquarters and has nothing to do with the Australian Federal Police.
FACT: If there was any truth to her claim, here’s where she should have been standing – outside the Federal Police NSW headquarters in central Sydney, 25-kilometres away.
FACT: There has been no photo of Lynda Tabuya outside the AFP and she has provided no evidence that she has filed a complaint with the proper authorities.
FACT: All this could have been checked by Cheerieann Wilson before she launched into print with her spin about this being an issue of “justice”. What? You mean drug-taking, having “brutal” sex with a fellow married politician on an official work trip and making porn?
FACT: There is no legal cause for a prosecution against Alexandra Forwood in Australia or Victor Lal in the UK for “leaking” Lynda Tabuya’s pornographic video.
Like Grubsheet and thousands of Fijians, they received it from third parties and in the case of Alex Forwood, she sent it to the Malimali Commission of Inquiry and in the case of Victor Lal, he sent it to the Prime Minister and other senior politicians. And that is not an offence.
So forget about justice. This is Lynda Tabuya peddling a whole lot of lasulasu-jhoot which the gullible Fiji Times is putting on its front page.
As I’ve said before, a paper no self-respecting dead fish would be wrapped in siding with a woman of loose virtue with zero credibility.
FACT: Lynda Tabuya was found guilty by her own party of a “sex and illicit drug scandal” and then – as Co-Chair of the government’s Task Force on Pornography – made a pornographic video for which she has since formally apologised.
REASONABLE CONCLUSION: The Prime Minister and the People’s Alliance are so stupid that they have not only protected this trollop but allowed her to rewrite the facts and keep the scandal she has generated alive on the nation’s front pages when it should be dead and buried if they have any sense of self-preservation, especially with an election looming.
FURTHER REASONABLE CONCLUSION: She is unfit to be in politics and they are unfit to govern.
The Fiji Times is so gormless that it doesn’t understand that Lynda Tabuya doesn’t “file charges”. She can make a police complaint, though we have yet to see hard evidence that she has.
But it would be up to a Director of Public Prosecutions to decide whether charges are filed after a police investigation and that’s how it is with every case.
Journalism 101 that every Fiji Times reporter should know. Though evidently not when they are overcome by the stench of rotting fish and in the thrall of a shameless hussy who having been thrown a lifeline, is totally out of control.

Why is she in Sydney in the first place? It would have been an ideal opportunity for the Federal Police to have interviewed Tabuya instead about the transportation of drugs from Fiji to Australia and use of drugs in Australia which are both criminal offences.
Was the kama sutra harlot who is a shame to her parents name here on official business or was she here for personal reasons? If it was the former, the taxpayers have a right to know why she is/was here and the expense of the trip.

She is a law graduate, and this latest stunt shows how little she knows of the law either in Fiji or Australia. It is nothing more than an attempt(failed) to have Fijian people believe she is pursuing legal action.
As for the Fiji Times (a newspaper that used to be creditable) and their dumb reporter Cheerieann Wilson, the creditability of both is now zero! You continue to publish absolute lies! Not half-truths but out and out lies!

Lynda, a public figure, has been caught in a scandal involving sleeping with another woman’s husband, smoking weed, and recording a nude video of herself that was later leaked. Only Lynda or the person who filmed it can explain how it got out—yet Shamima thinks this is something to ignore and Lynda is a victim? Shamima comparing Lynda with other women is disgraceful to all our women of Fiji.
It’s mind-boggling that Shamima doesn’t understand the responsibility of public figures. Lynda’s actions are far from personal; they are a reflection of her leadership, and the public has every right to expect better from someone in her position. Shamima, it’s time for you to move on. Your relevance in this conversation has long since expired. You’ve had decades to build credibility, but now it’s clear you’ve lost touch with what matters. The people of Fiji deserve leaders who uphold moral standards, not those who turn a blind eye when it’s inconvenient. It’s time to acknowledge that and step aside.
The only reason Shamima won’t leave the FWCS is that no one will employ her, given she is a woman who is a crisis for any organization.
Her 30 decades of inept management along with her use of the FWCS NGO for her political grandstanding needs to be ended by her removal. It’s definitely time for her to retire and spend some time tending to her flower garden.
