Rolex or no Rolex, the name ‘Rolex Rabuka’ should stick with him for life to remind him of his vainness and villainousness against his own people. The Rolex is a symbol of his greed, lies, and broken promises. Let the watch bring him no happiness or satisfaction. Just unhappiness and regret.
It better be handed over to Reserve Bank for safe keeping or PM has to be responsible for its loss. That State property was last seen in his possession.
He no longer sports it, it has been replaced by a $20 digital time piece and so the people of Fiji would like to know where they can sight this gem that was donated, gifted to the people of Fiji.
Commissioner of Police, I am personally asking you to investigate how our PM came into possession of a $150,000.00 ? watch!?.
Did he purchase that Rolex watch that the nation has seen on his wrist?
If not, how did he come by such a watch? If it was a gift, I circle back to the conclusion, that it belongs to the State.
After the President, he is the next most senior Civil Servant in the country who is sworn to uphold the laws of the nation, its integrity, honour and morals.
Now where is our watch, has it been stolen?
That would be a pity, means our President, Chief Justice or other high official will not be able to sign it out and wear for official engagements of State.
Now silly me, if it was loaned to our PM by a friend, a very wealthy buddy buddy businessman, would he like to put his hand up and clear the air so that our PM does not get accused of being a low life 3rd world dictator feeding high on the hog while his people scratch around in abject poverty, sending their children off to school with dry noodles for lunch.

Leave the young man out of politics – this khaiyum is forging his own path and deserves a fair shot at success. He doesn’t deserve to judged for his family. As for the watch, it’s probably being sold on behalf at Lords Jewellers or Prouds in fiji or Sona Sansaar ( gold hub) in NZ to avoid any further embarrassment and gifting trail. You can run and can’t hide – the truth will come out soon PM.
We wish Khaiyum the Younger nothing but good fortune and a successful career in the law. But being photographed with his famous uncle inevitably adds a political element in itself.
If Aiman been pictured with just his father and mother, you might have had a point. But standing next to Uncle Aiyaz, it’s inevitable for people to wonder whether a career in politics also lies ahead.
And why not? His grandfather, Sayed Abdul, served two terms in the parliament in the 1990s as the NFP representative for Nasinu. So politics is in the blood.
Was that gold watch stolen property and the police caught up with it?
Maybe PC will come out soon and thank GS for exposing the information. Let’s hope Mr Tudravu will throw more light on where this particular watch came from.
So is it setting a precedence for crooks in the villages having a right to be silent?
I hope all this is not true. May be just my evil thinking.
Rolex Rabuka has enticed the formation of 16 political parties in Fiji…all well aware that theres potentially a gold rolex on the road somewhere should they sneak into parliament.
Probably sold it along with his soul, to the Devil.
Ouch.
Congratulations to the Sayed-Khaiyums! 🙂

Forging through the loot of his parents.
Kepa, are you saying that Rambo’s parents stole that watch? What about the pen? Any insights on that?
