Lynda Tabuya has lied about her drug use before but her own party found her guilty two years ago of a “sex and Illicit drug scandal” and stripped her of the deputy leadership of the People’s Alliance. So we are entitled to be extremely skeptical about her latest stunt – supposedly submitting herself to a drugs test in line with new procedures in the parliament.
We’re not told the result but the Coalition’s resident strumpet has form and we need to be certain that it was actually her urine that was tested. Yes, who was there to ensure that the sample wasn’t swapped for another? Was her handbag searched before she provided the sample? We need a thorough explanation from the Police about the testing process and how it applied in this instance.
Why? Because the Minister for Bonking and Weed has form. Liars and cheats are invariably liars and cheats for life. And yet again, Lynda Tabuya has demonstrated that she has no shame in urging her fellow Fijians to “say no to drugs” when her own drug use has been so well documented.
Fortunately this desperate attempt at self promotion (and self righteousness) is being swamped by Tabuya’s other current political liabilities…
- her support as Environment Minister for the proposed Saweni waste disposal monstrosity when it is unpardonably close to the economic goose that lays the golden egg for every Fijian – Denarau, the nation’s biggest tourism playground.
- her very public scrap with the estimable Judy Compain over the state of the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWM).
- plus her astonishing and equally shameless invention of a new brand of Orwellian spin – “Mal-information”.
According to Madam Tart, it’s when something is true but it damages someone else. Like when the Prime Minister sent her the letter below finding her guilty of an “illicit drug scandal”.
It was true but it damaged La Tabuya. Or would have if the Fijian mainstream media hadn’t conspired with her to suppress it. Yes, Mal-information. When the truth no longer matters as much as the negative impact it has on Lynda Tabuya’s career.
As you’re torn, Dear Reader, between wanting to laugh or throw up, just make the decision now to vote “no” to this fraudulent pretender and the party that has inflicted her on the nation come election day. Because she really is taking the piss out of everyone.

Just look at the PM, he has been around for some 40 yrs and he is not going anywhere. He knows people of Fiji will be toast without him.
It just shows how bad this government is. She is a disgusting slut who has lied repeatedly, used drugs, had them on a government trip to Australia and nothing was done to her about it. How can anyone have any faith in a government that continues to pay a disgusting person like her to have any sort of control over anything? She should be in jail!
Lady Lynda is being exposed and her true colours are coming out. Her stupidly, arrogance, haughtiness and sense of entitlement. She is quite clearly dazzled by her own brilliance, or, to put it more accurately, her own bullshit, because in reality she’s quite stupid, as the nation is witnessing,
Besides the dumb ‘malinformation’ comment, she told media that she wants to door-stopping disallowed, calling it paparazzi journalism.
That’s because the dismissive and disrespectful manner in which she treated the journalists was exposed by FBC this week. Later FBC removed the video clip, clearly on Lynda’s orders. So much for media freedom promised by this government.
So far no reaction from her pet boy Stanley Simpson whose Mai TV has been the recipient of large handouts by Lynda, who is using taxpayers’ money to buy influence under the guise of supporting the media. Stanley has sold out but the other media and journalists are giving Lynda a run for her money (no pun intended) and putting Stanley and Mai TV to shame.
You are right GD, she is definitely armpits deep in the Vuda incinerator scam with the PM, the way they are pushing for it. If further proof was needed, Fijileaks reports that at least 50% of the funding will be from Fiji government sources, which is another shocking scandal the Fiji media is yet to wake up to.
A major source of funding for the government is the national pension fund, which should send shivers down every FNPF member’s spine. Why can’t the news media ask the Prime Minister and Lynda whether FNPF funds could be used for this project, which it seems to be bulldozed through by this government,
Lynda Tabuya is a despicable woman who is unfit and incapable of her ministerial position. She is part of a corrupt and incompetent government that is working against the national interest and should be kicked out.
The pisse sample was just as likely from a.four-legged biatch as Linduh, she being familiar no doubt being prone to being on all fours herself. Taking the piss to a hole –whole new level.

Remember, though, she relies on and needs less than a thousand votes from nu silandi lailai to easily put her back in the halls of corruption.
