# MANOA KAMIKAMICA CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT HIS ROLE IN THE MALIMALI AFFAIR AND THE FIJIAN MEDIA IS ENABLING THOSE LIES.

Posted on July 7, 2025 26 Comments

Manoa Kamikamica, has responded to the seizure of his mobile phone by FICAC by doubling down on his preposterous claim that he had nothing to do with influencing the appointment of his friend, Barbara Malimali, as FICAC Commissioner. Worse, the Deputy Prime Minister exploits the gormlessness of the Fijian media by avoiding altogether the main … [Read more...] about # MANOA KAMIKAMICA CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT HIS ROLE IN THE MALIMALI AFFAIR AND THE FIJIAN MEDIA IS ENABLING THOSE LIES.

# HOW MUCH LONGER CAN JUDGES REMAIN SILENT AS THE INTEGRITY OF THE JUDICIARY IS UNDERMINED?

Posted on July 5, 2025 28 Comments

Judges generally do not issue public statements and traditionally keep their opinions to themselves. But we can be sure that there is widespread dismay in their ranks as the Prime Minister and President double down on their refusal to suspend the Chief Justice, Salesi Temo. For the first time in Fijian judicial history, a chief justice at the … [Read more...] about # HOW MUCH LONGER CAN JUDGES REMAIN SILENT AS THE INTEGRITY OF THE JUDICIARY IS UNDERMINED?

# THE LOATHSOME MANOA KAMIKAMICA DRIVES ANOTHER NAIL INTO HIS POLITICAL COFFIN BY ATTACKING AN INNOCENT WHISTLEBLOWER

Posted on July 5, 2025 31 Comments

True to form, the corrupt Fiji Times allows the Deputy Prime Minister, Manoa Kamikamica, to manipulate the truth about the devastating findings against him by the Ashton-Lewis Commission of Inquiry into the Malimali Affair. And even more unforgivably, gives him a platform to attack Alexandra Forwood - the whistleblower and Commission witness … [Read more...] about # THE LOATHSOME MANOA KAMIKAMICA DRIVES ANOTHER NAIL INTO HIS POLITICAL COFFIN BY ATTACKING AN INNOCENT WHISTLEBLOWER

# THE COI REPORT ON MANOA KAMIKAMICA. WHY MR SWEET MUST NEVER BE PRIME MINISTER

Posted on July 4, 2025 40 Comments

As long ago as May last year, Grubsheet was opining that Manoa Kamikamica had demonstrated that he was unfit to succeed Sitiveni Rabuka as prime minister because of his craven support for the 138-per cent average pay rises that MPs had awarded themselves when more than half the nation lives in poverty. Grubsheet readers will recall that we … [Read more...] about # THE COI REPORT ON MANOA KAMIKAMICA. WHY MR SWEET MUST NEVER BE PRIME MINISTER

# THE NOOSE TIGHTENS AROUND THE CHIEF JUSTICE, SALESI TEMO, AND DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER MANOA KAMIKAMICA

Posted on July 4, 2025 8 Comments

The Opposition Leader, Inia Seruiratu, has called for the suspension of the Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, in a dramatic escalation of the pressure on the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, and the President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, to remove the head of the judiciary over the adverse findings against him by the Commission of Inquiry into the Barbara … [Read more...] about # THE NOOSE TIGHTENS AROUND THE CHIEF JUSTICE, SALESI TEMO, AND DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER MANOA KAMIKAMICA

# RAMBO DROPS HIS GUARD AND DEMONSTRATES THAT THE TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION IS ONE BIG LIE

Posted on July 3, 2025 23 Comments

The Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, had the normally hard-bitten Australian media eating out of his hand at his National Press Club appearance in Canberra yesterday by saying "no" to Chinese bases in the region and offering to fill the current shortfall of 5000 troops in the Australian military with Fijians. Grubsheet was again struck by the … [Read more...] about # RAMBO DROPS HIS GUARD AND DEMONSTRATES THAT THE TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION IS ONE BIG LIE

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
