# THE LOATHSOME MANOA KAMIKAMICA DRIVES ANOTHER NAIL INTO HIS POLITICAL COFFIN BY ATTACKING AN INNOCENT WHISTLEBLOWER

Posted on July 5, 2025 31 Comments

Attacking an innocent woman

True to form, the corrupt Fiji Times allows the Deputy Prime Minister, Manoa Kamikamica, to manipulate the truth about the devastating findings against him by the Ashton-Lewis Commission of Inquiry into the Malimali Affair. And even more unforgivably, gives him a platform to attack Alexandra Forwood – the whistleblower and Commission witness without whom a great deal of the wrongdoing now being exposed would have remained buried.

Alexandra Forwood

It is not only grossly unchivalrous – especially when the Fiji TImes gives Alex Forwood no right of reply – it confirms once and for all Manoa Kamikamica’s deviousness, disregard for the facts and complete unsuitability to be Sitiveni Rabuka‘s presumptive successor as prime minister.

Grubsheet yesterday detailed the Commission of Inquiry’s unredacted findings against Kamikamica , which give the lie to his preposterous claims that the COI is “hearsay based on hearsay”. In excruciating detail, the COI Report exposes the Deputy Prime Minister’s alleged corrupt conduct and if proven in a court of law, is serious enough not only to end his political career but put him behind bars.

Kalaveti Ravu

The evidence against him is not “hearsay” but a grave allegation by a fellow member of parliament – the former fisheries minister Kalaveti Ravu – that Manoa Kamikamica offered to make representations on Ravu’s behalf with his friend, the then FICAC Commissioner, Barbara Malimali, when Ravu was charged with abuse of office. It is all there in black and white in the COI Report and it is why Manoa Kamikamica is in very serious trouble indeed.

The Deputy Prime Minister told Justice David Ashton-Lewis that he “can’t recall” having the conversation with Ravu, not that it didn’t take place. But for Kamikamica to portray Ravu’s sworn testimony as “hearsay” when it was demonstrably first-person evidence to the Tribunal only serves to underline Kamikamica’s mendacity and unsuitability for high office. It was one of his People’s Alliance colleagues blowing the whistle on him. And if a court of law eventually accepts Ravu’s story, Mr Sweet is toast.

The Fiji Times will have known the details of this bombshell allegation. It is all there in the Report. Yet not for the first time, the paper manipulates the facts – and allows Manoa Kamikamica to manipulate the facts – by ignoring the central allegation against the Deputy Prime Minister altogether. This is journalistic corruption of the first order, wilfully depriving its readers of the facts known to it and known to Kamikamica with the intention of deceiving them.

To compound its offence, the Fiji Times allows Manoa Kamikamica to smear Alex Forwood – someone who has nothing to do with the allegation against the Deputy Prime Minister, which patently comes from one of his former colleagues. The following is a comment aimed at damaging not only Alex Forward but the integrity and credibility of the COI. And it is a scandalous travesty for which Kamikamica deserves nothing but contempt.

The “Honourable” Kamikamica is a man bereft of honour altogether. His guilt or otherwise will eventually be determined by a court of law and he better hope that his seized mobile phone doesn’t confirm the allegation made against him by Kalaveti Ravu. Yet he is already guilty in the court of public opinion of an outrageous attack on an innocent whistleblower that is totally unwarranted and totally unforgivable.

To smear Alex Forwood in this manner is an abuse of Kamikamica’s position as Deputy Prime Minister and an abuse of his obvious power to influence the Fiji Times. He could have attacked Kalaveti Ravu for spilling the beans on him. But no. He hasn’t got the guts to do that. Much easier to target an innocent woman.

The Deputy Prime Minister is a creep, a liar and someone whose deviousness doesn’t need to be tested in a court of law. It is plain for all to see.

As for the Fiji TImes, it once again confirms itself as a worthless rag which continually boasts of its journalistic prowess (see below) but is in a conspiracy with Manoa Kamikamica and the Coalition as a whole to subvert the national interest and subvert the truth.

The equally loathsome self-promotion of the corrupt Fiji Times and its manipulation of one of its more gormless readers…

Will somebody please pass the sick bag

Even the choice of photo is prejudicial to Justice Ashton-Lewis and the COI

Fortunately, some Fiji Times readers are more discerning.

Coming soon on Grubsheet…

How long will the nation’s judges remain silent as the Prime Minister and President undermine the judiciary by keeping the corrupt Salesi Temo as Chief Justice.

Luckily for us, the people tasked with investigating this poor excuse for a man, don’t listen to “rumour and innuendo” and base their decisions to prosecute on the facts of the matter.

From what I’ve been told this ‘honourable’ man will have his truly honourable father turning in his grave at the deeds his son has been engaged in. He should fall on his sword, if he had a shred of decency in him.

No treating the staff as doormats today? No putting your fancy bags on allocated chairs today? No taking selfies as if you are Netflix’s next reality show? Isa Ann – you really nailed your Manoa’s coffin.

Moaning Manoa, the most useless man in Fiji. Which makes him the ideal choice to be the next PM. That is the way things are in Fiji. Don’t be surprised. But one thing is for sure, the PM is screwing him and he does not even know it. The same will happen to Baimaan soon.

We are witnessing a government — supported by a select group of ministers — behaving as though they are above the law.

They are aided by individuals such as Chief Justice Temo and the Judicial Services Commission (JSC), both of whom have facilitated judicial appointments that appear to favor individuals more likely to align with the government’s interests than uphold independent principles of justice.

The same can be said of senior officials within FICAC and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), whose appointments raise serious concerns. Their roles increasingly seem to serve the Coalition Government’s political agenda — chiefly, to deflect attention from the underperformance of Prime Minister Rabuka and Deputy Prime Minister Biman by continually blaming the previous administration. But ultimately, the people will be the judges.

Among the most arrogant of the current ministers is Manoa Kamikamica, second only to Biman. Kamikamica frequently cites impressive-sounding investment figures, seemingly conjured with the assistance of Investment Fiji, to create an illusion of progress. He often boasts about “billions of dollars” in the investment pipeline, yet remains silent on how many projects are actually operational or even at meaningful stages of implementation. A simple check with the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) would reveal the truth about actual foreign investment inflows.

Unfortunately, both the CEO and Chair of Investment Fiji appear to lack a coherent strategy for attracting meaningful foreign direct investment. Ms. Seeto, in particular, seems adept at aligning herself with whichever government happens to be in power — a trait that serves politics more than the national interest.

I commend GD for his incisive critique of Kamikamica in his recent posts — they are accurate and timely. I also applaud Alexandra Forwood for her courageous complaints, which led to the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry.

Kamikamica seems to forget that it was his own Prime Minister who called for this inquiry, and it was the President who officially instituted it. By publicly criticizing Alexandra Forwood, he is, in effect, undermining both the Prime Minister and the President — a demonstration of poor judgment, if not outright folly.

As for the Fiji Times, little more can be expected. Their coverage increasingly reflects a tendency to evade scrutiny and provide cover for the Coalition Government.

The allegations against Kamikamica are serious and merit a thorough, impartial investigation. One can only hope that FICAC’s involvement is not a mere formality designed to provide a convenient exoneration.

Karma, they say, is like a bus – it may arrive late, but eventually, it always pulls up at your stop. And for Temo, that bus is definitely on its way, headlights glaring. I’m watching closely as the prick who masterminded the cruel removal of Kamal Kumar and Chris Pryde, in cahoots with Siromi the SWINE, truly sees his days numbered; I sense he’ll end up precisely in the sort of situation he so gleefully created for Kumar.

These morally and ethically corrupt assholes, as I see it, fabricated complaints against Kumar and Pryde to oust them from office, rewarding themselves and their cronies in the process, with Temo eyeing the CJ’s post. Now, with Francis Pulewai courageously filing official complaints with the Police and PM against Temo, Bainivalu, and other compromised individuals, it feels like only a matter of time before investigations begin.

The irony isn’t lost on me: public office holders like Temo and Bainivalu will likely face suspension and investigation for “misbehavior,” precisely the accusation they cooked up against Kumar and Pryde.

I recall how the late CJ Kumar was hounded relentlessly until his last breath, with Temo and Siromi fabricating complaints and going to the exteme of alleging sexual misconduct. This took a toll on his health and ultimately his demise. There were some corrupt characters who worked behind the scenes. There’s Shamima Ali, for instance, who penned a complaint letter in collusion with Siromi to strenghten a case against Kumar, alleging Kumar was slow on cases—especially one involving Makereta Waqavonono and other women regarding name change.

Then you have Qica and Jeremaia Savou, magistrates, who filed baseless complaints, clearly with an axe to grind, or in exchange for rewards like appointments for themselves or relatives.

Yogesh Kumar, another Magistrate, has been cunningly involved in the Pryde saga too, openly voicing his displeasure at not being promoted under Pryde and making outbursts in court against the DPP and at social gatherings.

Jeremaia Savou and Seremaia Waqainabete, close friends, maintain tight links with Siromi and Temo, meeting regularly in office and outside, with Savou discreetly supplying internal “intel” against judicial officers – don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you.

And Seremaia Waqainabete, that “circus monkey” director of Legal Aid, abusing resources, using Legal Aid vehicles for sinister political and personal runs, assisting Siromi, Temo, and other PAP members against anyone they suspect is linked to the former Fiji First party; vehicles late at night in rural and village areas, at what he sells as “community awareness programs” but are clearly political meetings and grog sessions, a blatant abuse of office. And while it’s none of our business, his staff is well aware of his extra-marital affair with subordinate Admin and HR staff he appointed without merit, leading to frequent arguments with his wife, all while he makes frequent, seemingly pretextual, trips outside of Suva.

The Karma bus is not just coming, it’s pulling into the station.

And so, yet again, another ethnonationalist is blinded by racism to see the irony of his own statement re: Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The fellow contributer was merely speaking hypothetically for other faith groups to go to their pilgrimages and have the same privileges as the ever free-riding natives. No mention was made of “going home.”

Fiji is home for all. Get used to it, fkhead. Live with it. The Indos are going nowhere.

In fact, the natives are running out of town in larger numbers than any other ‘vulagi’ group.

It is a human trait to try to better one’s life and provide for family. While the vuvale sit on their lazy asses, robbing and stealing while waiting for remittance money.

What a c**t to think that way and yet fail to realize the free-riding, Tevita’s horn blowing natives DID NOT go HOME to Israel.

In fact, when the shit hit the fan in the so-caĺled holy land, the same ethno-nationalists soiled their pants. Not one offered to remain to defend the holey land.

So much for being the lost tribe! Faark off, mate!

The redacted version of the COI does show to all citizens what their highly paid ministers have been really up to. The citizens have the opportunity to vote with their feet.

Anyone who has dobbed these self serving politicians and public servants need not be shot down by the likes of uh ah eh oh Manoa. They deserve the highest possible honour from the government for exposing corruption that takes money and service away from the vulnerable citizens to serve a few who already enjoy pay rises, SUVs, government subsidies, travel and everything they should not be entitled to, given the state of the nation.

Today, we sit at the cross roads again – this time, it’s Manoa. ASK was a smart operator who managed not to tarnish his career in 16 years despite his flaws. Manoa on the other hand, is simply dumb, stupid and dim.

His actions in the last 30 months reflect his lack of intelligence. His nincompoop speak is irrational and irritating. Even a zoo caged animal sounds more intelligent than Manoa’s brain freeze speak.

Manoa has self destructed because of his power hungry wife and now, he is running like a mindless brute. Your writings about Manoa prove his derp nature and his Neanderthal thinking – his demise only states the obvious, he was never the sharpest tool in the shed, just an oxygen thief dullard Buffoon who just got trumped.

She is trying hard now to gain some sort of respect from her fans for her behaviors probably thinking that they will believe that everything is a result of what she had faced during her pregnancies. Her repetition of dark thoughts is quite scary. Or she is actually still going through some trauma and needs help. Whilst I wish her well, she should not even think of politics. She is just not cut out for it and neither is Manoa Kamikamica or any of the current lot.

As already noted on your page, Graham, “Lingam” translates to “penis” which is remarkably appropriate given the subject. R Penis continues to emit bursts of rhetorical nonsense with all the finesse of a malfunctioning sprinkler – or excited phallus (depending on whether you’ve had dinner already). If there was a thought involved, it drowned long ago in the flood.

I’ve come across R. Penis before sadly and this kind of obsequious drivel is standard for him. He’s your typical ladder-climber: leaves a trail of punctured backs, wipes his hands, and smiles for the photo op. When ops dry out, he starts talking about himself, including in the Fiji Times. His actual work ethic? Impressively minimalist. The kind that only thrives under managers willing to exchange basic integrity for a free lunch and some flattery which R Penis has truckloads to dispense, again like a sprouting phallus (but I digress).

His eyes have always been fixed on the General Secretary post at the Fiji Teachers Union – a lifelong dream built on hero worship of Fire (Agni) Deo Singh, whose own leadership style could best be described as… enduring. Now, with just one step to go, the torch may soon pass from one career bureaucrat to his understudy.

As a former teacher and FTU member, I’d strongly recommend an audit of the FTU. A curious examination of FTU funds might raise questions and for once, R. Penis and Fire S might have to answer them without grog, charm, or the safety of mutual denial.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
