# A GLOBAL OBSCENITY. WHILE ISRAEL IS ACCUSED OF GENOCIDE* IN GAZA, THE FIJIAN LEADERSHIP LIVES HIGH ON THE HOG OF ISRAELI HOSPITALITY

Posted on September 4, 2025 70 Comments

It is a total disgrace that Fiji is sending no less than 17 officials – none of them Indo-Fijian – to Israel for the opening of the nation’s new embassy in Jerusalem.

Even if Israel is picking up the tab for this extravaganza – and it better be – it is the worst possible look when most other countries with any conscience are giving Israel a wide berth because of its conduct in Gaza.

These people in the Fijian establishment have no shame whatsoever. None. Freeloaders or religious nutters or both in a world gone mad. And in few places madder than Fiji.

And why are both Lynda Tabuya, as Minister for Information, and Samisoni Pareti, as Director of Information, going when there is a dedicated media officer (plus “videographer”) allocated to the trip? Talk about a junket. Unbelievable. And especially when the nation is in such a mess.

And who will be keeping an eye on the Minister for Bonking and Weed? If you look at the list, the Prime Minister’s long-suffering wife isn’t going.

Surely we need someone to keep an eye on any shenanigans at the King David or American Colony hotels or whatever other luxury accommodation the Israelis lay on for their gormless guests. Or do we just ring them all and ask for the Prime Minister in Room 233?

Don’t let this happen, Sulueti. The two of them just can’t be trusted. And especially given the rumours that it was Lynda who gave your husband his gold Rolex.

Mind you, the wives of any men on this junket will be sleeping uneasily given what happened to Sainiana Radrodro when her faithless husband, Aseri, was lured to Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne in August 2023 for some “brutal” sex with the Siren of Suva. Or Melbourne or Jerusalem or anywhere.

It is genuinely stomach-churning how far Fiji has fallen under the Coalition.

As for “Major General Sell Out the Minorities and does anyone else want an apology while I’m at it?”, the less said the better.

With Fijian peacekeepers on the front line of the Middle East conflict trying to keep the opposing sides apart and UN troops already being fired at, including by the Israelis ( see below), why are Jone Kalouniwai and Pio Tikoduadua, the Defence Minister, sending such a partisan signal of support for Israel? Aren’t they making it more likely that Fijians will be specifically targeted?

In the meantime, the RFMF has joined the NFP as the Great Betrayers of Fiji’s minorities, entering into a formal agreement with the GCC when it is constitutionally required to “defend the well-being of all Fijians” and ought to be as independent as its peace-keepers in the Middle East.

But no, an embassy in Israel, and amending the constitution is of utmost priority.
Because the fools think these will fix all of Fiji’s problem.

I hope the world press picks up on this junket by shameless people shaking the hands of a PM who has an arrest warrant by the International Criminal court for committing genocide whilst idiots from Fiji go and shake his blood soaked hands with wide grins.
What are they thinking? The promised land? the chosen people?

Done under cover of foreign policy and paid for by state resources. Just like the con artist trip organized in Sept 2023 with no means or intention to pay Fiji Airways. So the more than 60,000 Palestinians (and 217 journalists) who have been killed since the Israeli invasion of Gaza began “aren’t cool people”. You’re not exactly cool either to be so outrageously dismissive and uncaring.

It’s pretty hard to be “cool” when you are starving and Israeli troops fire on you as you clamber over airdrops of food. It is murder, pure and simple. Or genocide when it meets the standard of trying to wipe out a whole community, which many experts say it has.

Or maybe you think genocide is “cool”.

I agree but that is not the point. It is about the indiscriminate slaughter of civilians who are being starved as an act of war and then massacred when they receive airdrops of food. Quite apart from the bombing of civilians and the targeting of journalists trying to do their jobs. Zionism is evil and is being actively supported by the US. Unfortunately the ultra religious Fiji Govt (and others) believe the bible is the actual word of God – rather than a handed down translation of a translation of a facsimile of a concept of a committee of men and a collection of letters written many years after the/an event.

The term “Jew” cannot be found in the Old, the New or the Final Testament. The word “Jew” began to appear between 1200 and 1500 CE. The European Jews who flooded in during the 20th century were never in Palestine. Period. They are Khazars, Slavs, and converts—not descendants of ancient Israelites. (See: Shlomo Sand, “The Invention of the Jewish People”, 2008)

As for the original Hebrews? Even Egyptian records expose the truth. In the 14th century BCE, King Abdi-Hepa of Jerusalem—a Canaanite, ancestor of modern Palestinians begged Pharaoh Akhenaten to defend Jerusalem from invading intruders called “Habiru”, or Hebrew. These were stateless slaves and violent murderous nomads, not native sons of the land. (See: Amarna Letters, British Museum archives)

The Hebrews—Yehud- Israelites -not “Jews”—were expelled from Sinai, for conspiring against Pharaohs. They invaded Canaan. They didn’t build civilization—they attacked it. The land was already thriving under Canaanite rule, long before a single Torah scroll ever existed.

There would be hundreds of thousands of Fijians who would turn up to welcome a perpetrator of genocide. A robust indicator of the ethnic breakdown of that anticipated throng at Albert Park would be the make-up of the 17-member delegation to Israel next week.

What will be different though is gender representation. It will be more balanced at Albert Park compared to the 4 out 17 next week.

What more could we expect from Rambo and his crony government? For these guys Israel is their holy land, the reason given for opening an embassy is to facilitate our peacekeepers keepers is hogwash. Most of our soldiers are flown by chartered military aircraft.

If this was the case to facilitate traveling Fijians why not open an embassy in Hong Kong or Singapore? This obsession about Israel was just an election promise which has now been fulfilled. To see most of the entire world condemn Israel for committing genocide against Palestine and then to see Fiji treat Israel as an innocent living nation is gut wrenching.

It’s no surprise to see the RFMF Commander jumping on the bandwagon. Now that the Commander has led the RFMF to sign an MOU with the GCC, it is clear that the RFMF is now basically a toothless tiger by “selling” their soul.

Reading through the local dailies, Fiji is now run by churches and religion. The Methodist church have a say on almost every issue. And the GCC who are very closely associated with Fiji’s major church groups have a major role to play now with the Constitutional amendments coming our way. Being isolated by the former FijiFirst government into the wilderness for years, it is now their time to extract revenge and become “royalties ” of Fiji again.

Israel is just merely a starting point for Rabuka and the adequately named Ms Bush (LT). Any bets on who is going get brutal in the land of milk and honey???

Genocide is not cool. Not at all.
But savagery, barbarism and anti life values of the Gazan militia and civilians are counter to humanity.
Those who are complicit in death wishes, whose own ideology espouses celebration of deliberate and intentional pure evil acts against fellow humans and desire for their extermination, inherently preclude themselves from the pro-life privileges they wish to claim for themselves.
Evil and anti life , under every guise needs to be countered defensively, offensively and disproportionately – chemotherapy is not done in mild doses. For the greater good.

There is an autonomous assumption that Civilians and the Hungry are always innocent. Closer examination of this may give credibility to ones stance on war and civilian complicit participation in the imperial, genocidal or territorial ambitions of its maniacal leaders. And any reciprocation from those affected. Eg WW1 and WW 11 Nazi Germany. Japan. Would Britons under real threat of invasion have been expected to send food parcels to the starving German civilians who were in sync with their Fuhrer. Imperial Japan and the suicidal loyalty to the emperor while participating in war crimes against other humans.
The madness of historical genocidal ambitions resulted in the sacrifice of millions of their own “innocent hungry civilians” if we care to revisit lessons from recent history of less than a 100 years.
Yes it’s not the scope of this Fiji centric blog but couldn’t help put this out there in relation to how opinions are formed on contemporary matters distinguishing the “innocent” from the hungry hyenas when they both appear blended.

The State of Israel implemented the Hannibal directive against the hostages taken on October 7th and killed nearly half of those taken by Hamas and other fighters, this is the true horror of that day, not absolutely false lies immediately told about rapes, beheaded babies and cooked babies in ovens. The depravity of Zionists, even against their own kind, can only come from the Supreme Evil, and we as a nation are getting into bed with this rogue evil entity calling itself a Nation.

IMO, the most Honourable nation in the world has to be Yemen and the Yemeni people fighting for values, dare I say Christian values, fighting against an extermination of a people. David against Goliath, a most evil Goliath, a European occupying, anti Semitic, Goliath.

The West is one big Corporate Gulag and the owners do not have the inmates interests at heart. The inmates are showing signs of scales falling from their eyes, but will it happen fast enough to save them from the inevitable lashing out of a lost Empire, a lost cause?
There are small rays of sunshine, Australia re-calibrating. Chinese boats circling your island would tend to do that. Better boats circling than nucs falling.

Hahaha, Palki from India, singing from a different song sheet when her PM heads over the Himalayas to visit a country that has trains traveling at hundreds of miles per hour and not with hundred of passengers riding on roofs of choo choo trains.

Could not be but disappointed that our men in scarlet were not marching at Victory parades in Moscow and Beijing and our leaders not at St Petersburg and the SCO meetings . My disappointment tempered with the thought, why would they invite our disreputable Military.
Given the original oath breaking in 87.
Ending with its oath breaking in 2025.
A Constitutional role of protecting the, “well fare”, of the Nation, it has abrogated its oath, once more, to the people, to God, in favour to a bunch of lawyers who think that its a good idea for a cohort of dirty politicians to meddle with the Constitution.

The same bunch of politicians who show their stupidity by engaging with the rogue, murderous State of Israel whose leaders consider us goyim, nothing more than a piece of lint or bottle cap, at best, beasts of the field.

Talmudists, who think Jesus should be boiled in human excrement, are the people our leaders are going to cobo to.

    Beyond words.

    End times?

Even a hard core atheist has to read Biblical verse, Revelations, and scratch his head.

In 1987, Rabuka stated that Indians needed to either be converted to Christianity or sent packing from Fiji.

Opening a shack in Israel was done because Fijians believe they are one of the lost tribes of Israel. I don’t think the Israeli people follow or even want to accept that theory, yet the Fijians continue to press themselves, like uninvited guests, on the people of Israel.

What benefits does Fiji intend to gain from the opening of a shack? What benefits does Israel get from this new partnership? There is an angle, and I suspect Fiji will be the loser here. I do not foresee Fijians gaining anything financially and if this government falls in the next elections, the first thing the new government will need to do is to close the shack and end this stupidity.

The cost of setting up the shack, staffing, expenses for all air travels, accommodation, etc. will cost more then the revenue generated through this relationship as people travel back and forth (business class?) between the two countries.

This governments height of ignorance and pig-headedness knows no bounds…

The Fiji delegation’s trip, led by the Prime Minister and including Fiji’s Head of Mission to the UN in New York, his wife, and Deputy Vueti May, seems strategically timed for September 17-19, 2025. This scheduling coincides with a critical UN General Assembly special session vote on Israel on September 18, 2025, resulting in Fiji’s absence from the vote.

The carefully planned timing suggests a deliberate move by the Fiji government, that can only be described as a “muddied” maneuver or a “soft boycott,” to sidestep the contentious issue without explicitly taking a stance.

The embassy is good, coz after f**king over the minorities in the coming days, an embassy in the stolen land is like atonement for these village idiots.

This is not the aggregated conscience of the people, Fijian are loving and caring by nature and an example of humanity to the world whatever our politics may incite. This unconscionable decision under any quantum of thought is seen as the support for atrocities, genocide, war crimes, rape murder and the indiscriminate killing of children conducted by Israel with support of USA, brought to the attention of the world including Fiji by The United Nations Security Council.

The Prime Minister of Israel has a warrant out for his arrest issued by the highest security council on planet earth for genocide and crimes against humanity.
The government has made the decision for one religious denomination only and has dragged our military and every other citizen into this blatant purge on humanity.
The crimes against humanity can only be committed if the world allows it and certainly this has not been a thought.

The half-educadted nitwits commenters here are perfect examples of it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

They and their ilk fail to reliaze or are simply ignorant of the complexities and true history of the Palestinian peoples.

And yes, Palestinians are people, human beings, as much as they are dehumanized by their enemies.

The reasons native Fijians love Israel so unconditionally are because natives Fijians are inherently a violent, bullying mob that adores apartheid, racism, bigotry, and hate. Sadism is in the itaukei DNA.

Every day, Israeli cruelty is admired and cheered on by the itaukei. What is lost on the lost tribe is that Israel hates colored peoples and has special hatred for Christians.

Recent massive public protests are in Tel Aviv by right thinking Israelis indicate people are fed up of continuing killings of innocent women, children, and the elderly by a war criminal.

Hunger has turned to starvation of a population. Cruel, prolonged inhumane treatment of your enemy is a war crime. Israel must know better and do better. No better place for Isreal to learn from is the events in Europe 80 short abhorent years ago.

Large public protests in Sydney and other Australian cities has forced a rethink by their government. Australia too announced they are considering recognizing the Palestinian State at the UN in 2025.

Other countries in Europe are seriously taking a different tack and thinking of recognition. Canada too.

The tide will turn one day for the Palestinians. The wheels of justice do grind slowly, but it will continue to grind until the day a two-state solution is realized.

For now, the sands are shifting ever so slowly, but shifting all the same.

    Wikipedia–
Australia, France, and Malta have announced plans to recognize Palestine as a state in September 2025 at the 2025 United Nations General Assembly, with Belgium, Canada, and the United Kingdom stating they will as well subject to certain conditions. Recognition extended by the State of Bahrain.

As of March 2025, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 147 of the 193 member states of the United Nations, or just over 76% of all UN members.[1][2][3] It has been a non-member observer state of the United Nations General Assembly since November 2012.

Among the G20, ten countries (Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey, as well as permanent invitee Spain) have recognized Palestine as a state,[note 4] while nine countries (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.) have not.[note 5] Recently, France, Australia, the UK,[13] and Canada[14] have stated their intention to recognize Palestine by September 2025, partially conditional upon direct negotiations between Israel and the PA. Many countries support a two-state solution to the conflict.

You reap what you sow, says the Good Book. And Lynda Tabuya is reaping what she has sown. Believe me, it is just the start. She is a dead weight around the government and this isn’t going to go away. It will be a major election issue next year. Of that you can be sure.

Graham, in all honesty Mrs Tabuya and her husband Mr T are the main ones behind the organising and setting up of the Israeli Embassy. Lynda Tabuya is extremely jealous toward her aunty Mrs T as she is sophisticated and elegant. There is no need for Lynda Tabuya to go to Israel when it should only be PM, his wife, Israeli Amb and his beautiful wife. Lynda Tabuya actions has cause immense embarrassment to Mr and Mrs T family and they are ashamed of her.

Rabuka has done a good deed before he departs for Israel. Seen distributing a couple of plastic chairs to watermelon and sasa sellers. I had put an article here that Ministers would drive by and ignore these people. So it seems that they do read GS and thus the noble gesture. Isn’t he just the most kind hearted PM?

But let me say in 10 years time they will still be selling on the roadside.

This unwavering support of the current Fiji government of Israel and some Fijian Christians of Jews is totally misplaced.

Israel is just a pariah state using Fiji for its own benefit. Fiji is one of the few state that blindly supports Israel in the UN Assembly when all others decry Israels current record in Gaza and the West Bank.

And why some Fiji Christians adores the Jews is quite baffling. Jews detests Christians. They don’t even believe in Jesus Christ the founder and basis of Christianity.

Lastly, this concept of indigenous Fijians being one of the lost tribes of Israel is just ridiculous. Not a single shred of scientific evidence. Just too far-fetched.

We are not one of the lost tribes of Israel. We are just a lost tribe. Completely lost. In everything.

Please my fellow indigenous people, let us go educate ourselves and stop just believing everything we get told. It is embarrassing.

Where was Israel when the lost tribe was ceded to Brits. Or when Mafu’s were visiting them from the neighborhood. Was Israel not aware that one if its tribe is missing and look for it. Was it that great flood at the time if Noah’s ark that this tribe got lost and separated. We all know that the ocean cleans itself by washing all waste to the land and is that this gutter waste if Israel landed in Fiji. Will Israel be the new master of Fiji.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
