# A SUNDAY REFLECTION. LUKE 1:42 “BLESSED ARE YOU AMONG WOMEN” (UPDATED MON AM)

Posted on February 9, 2025 26 Comments

The normal rules simply don’t apply to the Queen of Tarts. Found guilty of drug-taking and illicit sex by her own party, stripped of its deputy leadership, stripped of her position as minister for women and children after making a pornographic video, and with evidence that she lied about her marital status to avoid declaring her true income, she saunters serenely on.

Now the Prime Minister turns his attack on those who exposed her hypocrisy – the Co-chair of the nation’s Task Force on Pornography who manufactures porn.

Is it a prelude to Lynda Tabuya returning to the cabinet? It sure looks like it.

Only in Fiji, goes the old saying. Where those who expose wrongdoing are judged to be the wrongdoers.

A nation led by a moral pygmy wallowing in a moral vacuum.

Sashi must be quivering in her sari. What will happen to her. She should just bottle up those fake tears in one of the tamarind jars. Seriously this PM has become unhinged.

She can walk the catwalk for Rambo and maybe do a snake dance on a pole and ground as well for him then. He has proven time and again that man is bereft of any moral values and integrity
He goes to church to show he is a Christian, which in the christians’ mind is to show that he is honest and trustworthy
Oh, he is not alone. He has company, joined by Barbwire and Nanise as well
. ” We go to the same church” Nanise tells Fj.
The snake ought to take along his nephew Rabuku, Salesi, Siromi, the Queen of Tarts and maybe Leung as well and shout ” we are new creation “.
Watch out Lucifer. You are about to be suspended .

All this moralistic complaining is not getting anywhere.
Lynda has been sin binned for a while and she will be back.
How many times do we have to keep saying this?
This is Fiji where the guiding philisophy of the PM is “….every sinner has a future”.
Lynda will be welcomed back. Just wait and see.

If you think I am going to back off, you are very much mistaken. It’s gonna go all the way to election day and beyond. Because this kind of tolerance for corrupt conduct is a cancer eating away at the nation’s very soul.

Vinaka. I am just pointing out the realities of the Fijian psycohology…which is missing from your analyses.

And you continue to throw your hands in air in affected indignation when reality does not accord with your confetti theories.

Well perhaps you could explain the “realities of the Fijian psychology” as it applies to being out of step with moral and political imperatives the world over. Or is right and wrong in Fiji different from right and wrong elsewhere because the iTaukei are “special”?

If Rambo has the temerity to return Lynda to cabinet, it’s political suicide for Rambo and his circus of buffoons in leadership including Temo, Turaga, Barbs, Nancy, AG, Ranuku etc.

            You heard it here first.

Typical itaukei bully. Unable to argue his/her point to any reasonable common sense conclusion.

Rerevaka ni LT: A Testament to Leadership in the New Fiji
Ah, the dawn of a new political era—ushered in by none other than LT, the embodiment of leadership excellence. She is, after all, strikingly good-looking (because, evidently, that’s a crucial criterion for statecraft), allegedly well-educated (though one suspects the term is applied generously), and possesses the uncanny ability to stand tall—not just in stature but amidst a sea of mediocrity. Internationally, she commands attention for reasons that are, shall we say, refreshingly unconventional. Truly, a leader for the times.

The establishment, in its infinite wisdom, appears utterly enthralled by her. Perhaps it’s the hypnotic charm of her rhetoric—or the sheer absence of substantive alternatives—that has rendered them incapable of critical thought. Clearly, LT deserves the freedom to “conquer the world” as a liberated spirit, unfettered by such trivialities as accountability or competence. After all, she exhibits all the hallmarks of excellence required to shine within the current constellation of global leaders—a low bar she clears with Olympic grace. Even the current Prime Minister seems to orbit around her like an eager satellite, basking in borrowed brilliance.

But what, one might wonder, has Fiji become? A beacon of democratic decay? A case study for political satire? It would seem so. The nation now offers fertile ground for both internal opportunists and external exploiters to thrive unchallenged, navigating through the systemic rot engineered meticulously from the proverbial “head.” Democracy, in this context, appears less a functional system and more an elaborate performance—an illusion maintained by leaders seemingly committed to the slow, deliberate erosion of the very fabric of Fiji’s identity and integrity.

The worst, it seems, is not just near—it has RSVP’d with enthusiasm. Such profound disappointment is difficult to articulate without resorting to dark humor, for what else remains when earnest critique falls on deaf ears? And so, we are left with little more than a resigned, bitter blessing: God bless Fiji—for it will surely need divine intervention. Rerevaka ni LT!

Well, nothing surprises anymore with this cabal. It’s quite possible that the rumours could be true, but just imagine!😮😮😮

The real proof of the pudding will be in the GE 2026. If PAP and Rabuka secure a 2nd term, then it’s game over rover.
The logic behind this is that the PAP led by the imbecile Rabuka will then be empowered to do whatever they want.
There will be no limit to the chaos and resulting damage that will occur.

What’s happening with Christopher Pryde? Has the JSC given him assurance that he will be left alone to perform his duties? Why is it taking so long to give this assurance?

All this points to a judicial system that has been destroyed by this administration.
If Lynda becomes the new minister then all bets are off. She will be empowered to unleash havoc like never ever seen before in Fiji’s judicial history.

Anarchy is just around the corner. 😞

There will be no anarchy. Fijian people are too preoccupied trying to feed their families and pay the bills. 52% live in poverty.

The imbeciles spend the rest of their time drugged out and/or watching porn, raping and sodomizing children and/or beating each other up in brawls and robbing the vulagi.

This is the Fijian psycohology that the other fella referenced elsewhere on this board.

The harsh truth. Life is tough, tougher if you’re stupid.

Lynda has already started her vengeance . She has brought to Fiji her nephew Filipe Batiwale to be online Commissioner. Batiwale is also known to catfish himself so he is well aware of the game he’s being asked to play which is to go after Lynda’s online enemies whilst also clearing her image online for the 2026 elections !

Speaking of the 2026 elections – Rabuka is set to rig elections ! He will be using one of his friends who owns a printing press to print the ballot papers !!Rabuka has to win the elections there is no other way ! So be ready for another 4 years of agony guys ! Rabuka will make sure those he accepts will win elections next year and those who are his enemies will likely get no votes at all !

Now Biman wants children to be in the Sugar Cane Farms so he and his friends who owns such farms can continue to Rape the innocent poor Fijians into working in the Cane fields….
Ordinary Fijians are so lucky to have obtained higher education because of FFP and have migrated for greener pastures overseas….All thanks to FFP
The current government is only hell bent on the persecution of SAINTS…
There is not one member in the coalition government whom the people can be proud of…This is the FACT

  13. KLEPTOCRACY says

    February 10, 2025 at 11:37 am

An apt description of this Fiji “Government” (coutesy of wiki):

KLEPTOCRACY (from Greek κλέπτης kléptēs, “thief”, or κλέπτω kléptō, “I steal”, and -κρατία -kratía from κράτος krátos, “power, rule”), also referred to as thievocracy,[1][2] is a government whose corrupt leaders (kleptocrats) use political power to expropriate the wealth of the people and land they govern, typically by embezzling or misappropriating government funds at the expense of the wider population.[3][4] One feature of political-based socioeconomic thievery is that there is often no public announcement explaining or apologizing for misappropriations, nor any legal charges or punishment levied against the offenders.[5]

Kleptocracy is different from plutocracy (rule by the richest) and oligarchy (rule by a small elite). In a kleptocracy, corrupt politicians enrich themselves secretly outside the rule of law, through kickbacks, bribes, and special favors from lobbyists and corporations, or they simply direct state funds to themselves and their associates. Also, kleptocrats often export much of their profits to foreign nations in anticipation of losing power.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
