# POOR KING CHARLES. FORCED BY PROTOCOL TO DEAL WITH ANOTHER PAEDOPHILE

Posted on October 16, 2025 15 Comments

You really have to have sympathy for Charles III when he is obliged to set the highest standards of conduct as King of the United Kingdom and its realms, as well as Head of the Commonwealth, yet is beset by the quandry of having to deal with individuals accused of having sex with minors. The King is already facing calls for his brother, Prince … [Read more...] about # POOR KING CHARLES. FORCED BY PROTOCOL TO DEAL WITH ANOTHER PAEDOPHILE

# MANOA KAMIKAMICA PLAYS BRUTUS, WITH ALL ROADS LEADING TO ROME AS HE UNDERMINES CAESAR

Posted on October 16, 2025 10 Comments

The Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, was making it known that he had no idea where his Deputy, Manoa Kamikamica, was going when he ran into him as "Mr Sweet" boarded the same plane at Nadi Airport on Saturday - in the PM's case, to attend Fiji Day commemorations in Sydney. And in Kamikamica's case, to change planes in Sydney and head for … [Read more...] about # MANOA KAMIKAMICA PLAYS BRUTUS, WITH ALL ROADS LEADING TO ROME AS HE UNDERMINES CAESAR

The High Court judge, Justice Dane Tuiqereqere, will start hearing the applications for judicial review of the Supreme Court Commission of Inquiry into the Malimali affair in just under two month's time - on December 12. The Judge has evidently consolidated all applications into a single hearing - that of Barbara Malimali herself, the Judicial … [Read more...] about # APPLICATIONS FOR JUDICIAL REVIEW OF THE COI SET DOWN FOR HEARING ON DECEMBER 12 (UPDATE THURSDAY AM)

# JUDGING FROM THIS ASTONISHING VERBAL ASSAULT, THE 2026 ELECTION CAMPAIGN IS GOING TO BE MORE BRUTAL THAN LYNDA’S ROGERING IN ROOM 233

Posted on October 14, 2025 15 Comments

Is the NFP terrified that Mahendra Chaudhry's Labour Party is going to pose an existential threat to it when voters go to the polls next year? It's a fair bet given the extreme language employed by Biman Prasad's General Secretary, Kamal Iyer, against the Labour leader and former prime minister. "Caught with his pants down", "entangled in his … [Read more...] about # JUDGING FROM THIS ASTONISHING VERBAL ASSAULT, THE 2026 ELECTION CAMPAIGN IS GOING TO BE MORE BRUTAL THAN LYNDA’S ROGERING IN ROOM 233

# WHY IS MANOA KAMIKAMICA IN DUBAI? THE PRIME MINISTER, FOR ONE, WOULD LIKE TO KNOW

Posted on October 14, 2025 31 Comments

We now know that seven members of the government - the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, and six of his ministers - were overseas on the Fiji Day weekend. But there is an eighth we don't know about. And neither, reportedly, did the Prime Minister until he saw him board the same flight to Australia on Saturday. Rabuka is said to have been startled … [Read more...] about # WHY IS MANOA KAMIKAMICA IN DUBAI? THE PRIME MINISTER, FOR ONE, WOULD LIKE TO KNOW

# A PHOTO YOU WON’T SEE ON THE GOVERNMENT’S FACEBOOK PAGE

Posted on October 13, 2025 28 Comments

Alexandra Forwood is the bane of Sitiveni Rabuka's existence - a one-woman whirlwind bombarding his government with a constant stream of emails demanding action or answers as it lurches from crisis to crisis and scandal to scandal. Alex marks all of these emails "without prejudice" as an apparent device to minimise the threat of defamation … [Read more...] about # A PHOTO YOU WON’T SEE ON THE GOVERNMENT’S FACEBOOK PAGE

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
