There is one rule in Fiji for the white man and another for the iTaukei luminaries of the Coalition. And here’s the absolute proof – the Deputy DPP, John Rabuku, consorting with the new FICAC Commissioner, Barbara Malimali, who he is currently “investigating” for alleged abuse of office.
18 months ago, Christopher Pryde was suspended as DPP after being photographed at a Japanese Embassy function with the ousted attorney general, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum, BEFORE any file on Khaiyum had reached his desk. Yet we now have photos of John Rabuku in the company of his close friend, Barbara Malimali, at a function at the GPH on Friday WHILE he is investigating her.
Rabuku announced last week that he had asked the police to carry out further investigations into Malimali’s alleged abuse of office while she was Chair of the Electoral Commission. But he evidently sees nothing wrong with socialising publicly with the new FICAC Commissioner while he is in charge of the case against her.

And astonishingly, who else is in this picture on the left? Yep. Siromi Turaga, the man who engineered the suspension of Christopher Pryde in April 2023 after telling Pryde that if he apologised for being seen with Khaiyum, that would be the end of the end of the matter. Turaga lied and 18 months later, Pryde is still waiting for the judicial Tribunal hearing into the allegation of misbehaviour against him.
Seriously, Fiji. Talk about one rule for the white goose and another for the two little black ducks. I repeat: Christopher Pryde has always maintained that there was no reason to ghost Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum when he came up to him at the Japanese Residence in February 2023 because at that stage he had seen no file on Khaiyum from the police. Yet here is John Rabuku as Deputy DPP in the process of an ACTIVE investigation into Barbara Malmali and the two of them are openly socialising, with the former attorney general and now Minister for Justice looking on.
UPDATE: Siromi Turaga too should have known better than to be seen fraternising with Barbara Malimali when he is on the list of ministers referred to FICAC by the Supervisor of Elections, Ana Mataiciwa. ( See correspondence below). He is the Minister for Justice, for God’s sake! Yet he seems to have no idea of the proper conduct of the criminal justice system and his obligation to observe its time-honoured protocols to the letter, of which at least the appearance of independence is the most critical to maintaining public confidence in the system.

Did it not occur to John Rabuku and Barbara Malimali that being seen in public together has compromised the integrity of any “investigation” that Rabuku is meant to be conducting into Malimali’s conduct? And did it not occur to Siromi Turaga to take both of them aside at this function and say: ” Hey you two. You shouldn’t be seen together when you, John, are investigating Barbara. I got rid of Christopher Pryde for being photographed with Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum so you better make yourselves scarce. And I can’t be seen talking to you either, Barbara, while I am on the list of ministers under investigation”.
In our dreams, Fiji. The criminal justice system is now so degraded that the suspended DPP has been kept waiting 18 months for justice and the Tribunal’s fresh mandate to hear his matter has now been extended to just before Christmas – 20 months since he was stood aside. And the Deputy DPP’s “investigation” into the abuse of office allegations against Barbara Malimali is such a sham that they feel free to openly consort together in public.
If the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, had any integrity at all, he would instruct Graham Leung, who replaced Siromi Turaga as Attorney General, to talk to the head of the Judicial Services Commission, Salesi Temo, and persuade him to instruct the Acting DPP, Nancy Tikoisuva, to sack John Rabuku for gross misconduct. If the PM had any integrity at all, he would also demand the immediate suspension of Barbara Malmali as FICAC Commissioner. Because she too is guilty of gross misconduct.
It beggars belief that the criminal justice system is unravelling so quickly in terms of proper standards that the investigator (Rabuku) and the investigated ( Malimali) could in their wildest dreams, imagine that this blatant fraternising during the course of an official investigation could possibly be acceptable.
It is sheer arrogance and a middle finger salute to both the system and the Fijian people. But it is hardly surprising when we know that John Rabuku was declared unfit to be Acting DPP because of his professional misconduct and Barbara Malmali engaged in scandalous, drunken conduct in Tuvalu that compromised a Supreme Court judge and derailed a criminal trial.
Arrogance is written all over Barbara Malimali’s face in today’s Fiji Times as she announces a revamp of FICAC even before the forthcoming “official inquiry” into the circumstances of her appointment as Commissioner. Until that inquiry is held, she shouldn’t be doing anything at FICAC. In fact she shouldn’t be there at all. But Sitiveni Rabuka has such a poor grasp of what is right and wrong that he is allowing Malimali to not only stay in the job but remake FICAC in her own image.
It is a scandal of the first order that ought to be grounds enough for her removal. But fraternising with her friend and the man who is supposed to be “investigating” her is an equally grave breach of proper procedure, and especially when Christopher Pryde has been treated so harshly by these racist clowns.
We keep thinking that the collapse of standards under this government and especially in the criminal justice system can’t get any worse. Alas, each week brings a new low. And it is a national scandal of which the Fijian people have had more than enough. .

And no surprise, Fiji, that hot on the heels of clearing Lynda Tabuya, Barbara Malimali has chosen to clear the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, of any wrongdoing relating to complaints to FICAC about him.
The page 1 and page 3 stories in today’s Sunday Times…

Here’s why Siromi Turaga is also compromised by continuing to have any contact with Barbara Malimali. Because he is plainly on the list of ministers referred to FICAC by the Supervisor of Elections.

Finally, a Facebook posting by someone with whom I have not always seen eye-to-eye. It is much appreciated.
Amazing how this government has been able to unite such disparate elements in disgust at its unconscionable conduct.

GD
The iTaukei people have absolute power and control in every day life where the power they hold corrupts absolutely. This is what is happening in Fiji, where the ethno-nationalist racist iTaukei’s have taken control of the Banana Republic. It seems that the police, the judiciary, the parliamentarians instead of being held to a higher standard of judgment because of tremendous power they have are hell bent on carrying out and committing corrupt practices and influence over others and becoming more corrupt, or morally compromised.
So, absolute power corrupts absolutely; the more authority and influence the iTaukei’s have in politics and government in Fiji, the worse their morality becomes and there is no going back.
Hang on a minute…dont forget the white right-wing ethno-nationalists are in control in Australia. The ethno-nationalists are also in control of India. Likewise in Japan and China etc. So why not in Fiji?
Rubbish. There is nothing right-wing about the Australian Labor Party, whose foreign minister is a Malaysian-born Chinese. And it is not about ethnicity but proper conduct.
How ironic that now that the minorities have been dislodged or departed the scene that iTaukei have f**ked over one of their own in the form of Francis Puleiwai. And the loathsome Speaker of the Parliament attacks his fellow Pacific Islanders.
This descent into savagery is now pitting iTaukei against iTaukei. And in the end, you are going to long for the old days when such division was kept in check.
Naiqama Lalabalavu is a man who had sex with underage girls because as a high chief, he can. Barbara Malimali was drunk in a judge’s bed in Tuvalu and forced the derailment of a criminal trial because she can. John Rabuku was found guilty of grave professional misconduct as a lawyer but remains at the ODPP because he can. Lynda Tabuya has got away with illicit sex and drug taking plus burying her millions and survives as Minister for Women and Children because she can. Her lover, Aseri Radrodro, is a domestic violence abuser who almost killed the Prime Minister’s daughter but survives as Education Minister because he can.
Pardon the rest of us if we don’t think that many of the iTaukei now in power are worthy of respect. They all deserve each other. And the nation’s young people are supposed to rejoice that they have such upright role models? No wonder they have turned to pornography and drugs. Because that’s what so-called pillars of society like Lynda Tabuya do. And they can be racist because that’s what the Speaker of the parliament and a whole raft of government ministers like Siromi Turaga do.
It’s why so many of their fellow Fijians have decided to leave it to the iTaukei to fight amongst themselves for the spoils and are moving to countries where equality of opportunity is guaranteed. Leaving behind “Viti Lailai” – Little Fiji – which could have been great but blew it because of the backward views of people like you. The rest of us can no longer be scapegoats. All of the offices of state have now been ethnically cleansed.
What’s next? Still got a taste for human flesh? If Naiqama Lalabalavu can have his way with underage girls, why not cook and eat one for old time’s sake? What right does the rest of the world have to change any of the practices of Viti Makawa? Go on. You know you want to. Forget about McDonalds and all that foreign muck. It’s your country. Go for it.
I believe that under the standards set by this government, Rt Naqaima has all the ideal characteristics, qualifications, experience and intergrity to be appointed President of the country. Child abuser, racist, participated in the coup, took over the army barracks, spent time in jail. There has never been a person more qualified.
The objectives of the 1987 coup are being met with all its might. This a dream run for the Rabukas and Butadrokas of the world. Stuff the people and the economy.
In 20 years time there will be much further decline of Vulagis. More opportunity for tribal wars and cannibalism. Fiji for Fijians itaukeis. Go for it. Fend for yourselves.
GRAHAM, how about an exclusive on NAIQAMA like how you did ASERI and his assault on his wife.
The difference is that Aseri wasn’t getting any coverage at all in the mainstream domestic media for the brutal assault on his ex-wife. Whereas Naiqama Lalabalavu is all over the news, and especially with the call by the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre for his resignation for his appalling racism and intolerance.
I’ll keep monitoring the story but they are doing him slowly without me having to put in the boot. Trust you understand the point I am making. I have always seen my role to highlight stories that the mainstream media is ignoring, such as it appalling negligence in refusing to publish the PM’s letter to Lynda Tabuya stripping her of the PAP’s deputy leadership.
Graham, you miserable old dog and sour puss, always complaining. On the bright side, don’t forget Biman Prasad and Sashi Kiran are still fighting strong and leading the charge in Parliament. Be grateful!
Grateful? For their betrayal I will be stalking them all the way to the next election and their certain defeat. Mark my words. The NFP will be destroyed as a political force forever.
Amen to that GD!
There are some notorious people in Fiji. The above being a prime example.
This country wants to talk about child safety when the Ratu sitting as Speaker of the House is a child abuser.
Which tree did you fallout of! The Labour Party is in control Federally and in most mainland states in Australia and would not come even close to a definition of ethno-nationalist!
The behaviour highlighted in this article would not happen in democratic nations, which Fiji is not!
Obviously you’re happy with this conduct in Fiji!
You f**ken kidding?
If you dont like the way the i’taukei choode to live their lives then you should migrate if you have not slready done so. You are obviously bitter and twisted. Bugger off and leave us alone
Yes, leave you alone to your $10-billion dollar debt and rising. Who do you think is going to pay for your health, education, water, electricity etc when the “vulagi” go? Idiot.
Let me tell you.The weekend of no water in the Suva Nausori corridor is just the start. And what happens if there is global conflict or economic downturn and the tourists stop coming? It’ll be back to your teiteis.
The current spending is unsustainable and who wants to invest in a country where the rule of law has crumbled. No-one with any serious money, that’s for sure.
The natives don’t know what they want. Never have.
They growl at the rain. They growl at the sun.
They can’t survive without visitors. They tell visitors to eff off.
They hate foreigners.
They can’t survive without working and living in foreign lands.
They love land, land, and more land. They have no use for land.
They love the trappings of money. But they are broke. Surviving on foreign aid. Remittances.
We could go on anon2.
The weekend of no water in the Suva Nausori corridor is just the start….this has been going on for so many years…
Those like you, Anonymous 2, are sickening as you will have a hand in ultimately destroying our beautiful Fiji.
Read and understand the online story of the Solomons gold Chocolate Factory in NZ. Their cocoa come from Solomon Islands. The factory was built by Mr Glenn Yeatman, who is described as follows:
Glenn was a fourth generation coffee farmer from Zimbabwe who during the brutal regime of Robert Mugabe, fled Africa for his life with his young family leaving everything behind, and they arrived in New Zealand with only a suitcase in hand.
Anonymous 2, please help avoid our Fiji falling into the trap that swallowed Zimbabwe.

2nd domino’s fallen. This is just the beginning, more will be cleared. Fiji the newest banana 🍌 republic. China is watching.
One rule for whites and one for iTaukei. Then one for iTaukei chiefs and one for commoners. Watch next year’s “royal” installation of the Tui Lau and who will be at the ringside, Qaranivalu and Speaker!
This photo looks like a meeting of the iTaukei Lawyers Assocation. Would someone have that famous photo of Chris and ASK?
Imagine the prayers seeking forgiveness in churches as well as by Ro and his squad at the RFMF chapel today, re-licensing the ongoing assault on the laws of the land from midnight tonight. The Scriptural laws will be reset yet again next Sun, and every 7 days later.
The PM is completely aware of all this and is endorsing everything. Let’s await then the outcome of his Cabinet meeting on Tue when the word “independence” could potentially be redefined.
When is the next performance management review due for civil servants? These lawbreakers will be commending each other so a pay rise for all, promotions galore and the eventual removal of Acting roles leading to confirmations. Biman will have to have the funds for that. And the poor continue suffering, isa na noda vanua!
To allay your concerns your best course is to continue to vote for Fiji First in the 2026 elections. All the best.
FF or Bai & Kai over 16 years were bad but PAP whom I voted for is worse in just 16 or so months, having broken most of their promises they deceived us with in 2022. They have shattered the oaths they took at Government House upon their ministerial appointments. And among others, they helped themselves with unprecedented pay rises. Disappointing that have not addressed but worsened the many failures of FF. The future does not look good at all, Brother, for our generations to come, including yours and mine. Just read about Hon. Radrodro’s lamenting below over the 5000+ dropouts. He somehow adopted FF’s policy of not breaking down those figures ethnicity wise.
https://fijisun.com.fj/2024/10/05/school-dropouts-over-5000-plus/
Please reply to Fiji Watcher’s opening question. I am interested in that. Kerekere sa rauta mada na veidabui (enough please of deceptive conduct). Lastly, enlighten and empower yourself please by reading the late Mr Mugabe’s misdeeds as Zimbabwe’s nationalist leader. No one wants that for our beloved country.
I get the feeling they are all laughing at us. “Look at us, idiots, who can touch us?”
But grubsheet, let’s look at the reality. Who in their right mind wants to sleep with these ugly, obese lipsticked cows? You would need to be blind drunk to consent?
That’s the point. They’re not in their right minds.
Come to think of it, to be appointed to one of these positions, you do not only need to have a dodgy background, one of the other essentials is that you must be ugly, and having a lot of lard helps.
Justice for Francis.
Who in FIJI is willing to stand up for Francis Pulewei right now? Are there any leaders that can make a stand for the rule of law and support her. This could be an opportunity to show great strength and leadership.
Are there international human rights organizations that this can be reported to to let the word know what goes on in Fiji.
The women that are in powerful positions in Fiji would sooner eat her alive then do anything that stops their corruption.
What a the lack of empathy from both leadership and ordinary people for what she must going through.
GD, you missed the point about how Siromi the racist snake and several other minsiters are also, or were untill Pulewai pulled out, supposedly being investigated by Ficac. So Siromi too shouldn’t be seen fraternising with Malimali who is heading the very organization that is investigating him and other ministers!! These bastards don’t know conflict of interest even it ran them over in the middle of the street.
Meanwhile baritone buka is is going even more baritone as he lunches from one bullshit sound bite to another…and no follow up or probing questions by the sell out fijian media. They just lap up all the lasulasu like the good lap dogs they are…after all it takes time to digest all the coconut crabs and pigs 🐖 from Niue.
Fiji is well and truly fcuked and the man who started the fcuk fest has been given the chance to fcuk us Fijians all over once again by the dumb fcuks who believed his bullshit. You seriously couldnt have been that stupid to believe rabuka and his disasterous mob despite his almost 4 decades of history of deceit and deception. Unfortunately this stupid lialia lot are being fooled once again by baritone buka when he plays the clueless good cop who knows nothing about what’s happening around him. Please for fcuk’s sake don’t be be fooled again by this evil viper….he knows exactly what’s going on and to boot he instigates and plans most of the disasters and destruction that has overwhelmed our country since he became PM last year.
This man is beyond evil and would give Satan a run for his money.
Stop believing him!!!
You make a very important point. Yes I did miss this. Have amended the existing article as an update. Vinaka vakalevu. Much appreciated.
Once the coalition appoints Tudravu to be the new COMPOL then it’s mission accomplished.
As Beria told Stalin ” Show me the man and I will show you the crime”.
Tudravu is an overated dud whose main claim to fame was being fired. A dud and a fake who thinks he is a legend being itaukei.
All these criminals in government forget that the larder is emptying rapidly as tourists dodge Fiji with its potholes, pickpockets, con artists, scamming, rorts, pornography, crap health care and prolific drugs. And as the level of corruption in government becomes known overseas donors will halt their generosity. The culprits (the evil politicians) will then strive to con from each other more and tribal conflicts will erupt. The huge shake up is destined well before the next election such is the ire of the nation. I pray a wise new political party establishes and sweeps away the dross.
Another great article, Graham. By the standards set by the Coalition government, lame judiciay, ineffective President and Commander, the honorable thing for them would be to suspend Rabuku and Malimali for being seen together in the public just as Christopher Pryde and Aiyaz Saiyad Khaiyum.
I am sure they will not do it and will have some pathetic excuse to justify.
We have come to a very sad state of affairs in Fiji where the judiciary and other independent organisations are far from independent and have become a “call girls” for the Coalition government
There is an AG who is reactive, ineffective, and doesn’t comprehend the provisions of the constitution. There is an acting CJ who also heads the JSC, does what he wants or what he is told by the Coalition government (Graham, Siromi, Manoa, or Rabuka in the main) Then there is Siromi- we all know about his failure as AG.
They use the Constitution to suit themselves and ignore it if it doesn’t.
I feel for Christopher Pryde as it’s 18 months and nothing is happening. He is not even getting paid despite Rabuka saying that he is still entitled to his salary. But who is Rabuka? Everyone in his government is running rings around him. He is looking like an idiot saying one thing today and another tomorrow.
The President is responsible for the delay in Pryde’s case, yet he has high hopes of being reelected to the high office. Of course, a reward for inefficiencies-that’s the order of the day. The Coalition government is not based on merits and values but who you know.
Now, on the Speaker of the Parliament. We have noticed he behaves like an elected member of Parliament and participates in debates and gives his point of view and opinions.
He has forgotten his role as speaker. His role is to moderate and maintain decorum in the parliament and not to debate.
There are many examples, and people can read the Hansard as evidence. One such example is his comment on Aliki Bia’s “End of The Week” statement on Solomon Island settlers in Fiji.
The Speaker was nasty and told him off, saying if he and his people don’t like it, they can go back to Solomon Islands.
GD, I think more should be written on the Speaker’s behavior in Parliament.
Only Vulagi are held to a high level of accountability. For the supreme iTaukei, it’s “eh, sorry…” and then anyone who doesn’t forgive and sweep under the carpet is the problem.
Agreed 100% Graham. The elite blue blood taukeis are quick to seek refuge in racism and colonialism, or become little brother (when money is sought) but become blind when they perpetrate injustice.
Mistreating Christopher Pryde was wrong and is racist.
We Brown and black skinned are quick to point the finger but we become silent when issues involving Pryde arise.
Bainimarama was the farmer with the rifle who kept the foxes at bay. Holding a rifle because wild foxes don’t get persuaded by soft nice requests to keep out of the hen house. We used to think what would happen when Bai went for a lunch break….or worse still retired from the farm. Would the foxes have learned to leave the chickens alone, without the deterant of the shotgun and Big Bai. That it was good for all in the farm for the fox to live side by side with other inhabitants of the farm.
No! With Bai gone, the foxes have taken over. Chaos and disorder prevails…. And there were people who benefited from and enjoyed the harmony that Bai provided by keeping a watchful eye on the foxes he understood well…some of these people had been moaning and complaining against Bai…not realizing what he was doing behind the scenes and at night when the foxes came out to hunt.
Sorry to see you go Bai…foxes are foxes , snakes are snakes , they haven’t changed their DNA or innate nature. You knew the adversary well. Those who mocked you and even suggested your actions were selfish for private gain, for self preservation – they now see what you did keeping watch while they were sleeping peacefully.
Frank? Will you be back? Bai….??
Until he comes back – then order will be restored. The foxes can rule now and even destroy the farm. But goodness will prevail after many dark days. That is how the story ends.
Praying for his release, and his return. The boys must unite and remember the events of 2000.
I never really liked much of the happening in Fiji after migrating but keep a close eye on the political situations.
I can only now see why Bai did what he did. He knew these criminals and vultures too well. He did not entertain them for a reason. People called him a dictator. Well it is only now that we come to understand the perseverance that Bai had and why he guarded the Constitution and the country.
That man deserves a medal.

There has been a lot of talk and drama in the past number of months surrounding political persons, public officials, allegations and counter allegations, pardons, silence of mainstream media, overt racism on social media, drug usage and dealings, the Fijian Constitution and the list goes on.
The one thing that has been missing in all of these destructive and at times nonsensical distractions, is the publicity or news regarding the true state of our Economy, and the socio-economic conditions that ordinary Fijians are living in and facing on a day to day basis.
This post is not about writing a detailed analysis, but to capture what ordinary Fijians are talking about, and hopefully get the attention of the Government so they can salvage the situation.
While Biman Prasad and Manoa Kamikamica may talk up the level of investments in the pipeline (pipelines have to translate into bricks or mortar or actual spend) or revenue collection, the fact of the matter is that the rosy picture is not translating on the ground in particular, for everyday Fijians and small businesses.
They today have to face more expenses than they did in 2022. The amount of money left after paying for food, other items and services, including now for example school levies, is not much or none at all.
The Economy is not robust. There is less confidence, highlighted by the reduced or muted drawdowns from the banks, there is less consumption spend because of increased overall costs for ordinary Fijians.
On the other hand, the rich, those earning over $270,000 a year, received a Christmas gift last year as they now pay 5 percent less tax. They and Members of Parliament got more money in their pockets while those on social welfare, the working class, paid more from their pockets and did not receive a reduction in personal income tax.
The slowing down of the Economy has also been exacerbated by the fact that so many Fijians have left their country in such a short period of time. This departure is not only about Fiji losing different skill sets and expertise but it is also about people with regular income leaving the country. If they were still here they would have spent – for example buying clothes, phones, buying lovo packs, roti parcels and pineapple pies from ordinary Fijians, building homes, eating out at restaurants or buying cars, generally spending and creating economic activity.
So last year VAT was increased by 66% and corporate tax by 25%. Other government charges were also increased including duty and departure tax.
Anybody with a basic knowledge of the markets and global economy would have known that global inflation was already elevated and that is why many central or reserve banks were putting tighter controls.
So Biman increased VAT, corporate tax and government charges with global inflation elevated, and coming fresh into a new government where the first thing he should have done was to provide confidence, continuity and stability, not disrupt or jolt the market, citizen and investor confidence, business stability and overall economy.
Our inflation peaked at about 7% or thereabouts after the VAT increase. Today it sits at about 5% or thereabouts.
Yet despite these large increases in VAT, corporate tax and inflation, he is making a big deal about collecting 3 billion dollars through FRCS. The figure needed to be far more than 3 billion dollars given these factors. In fact, previously without the VAT and corporate tax increases and inflation, revenue collected was just below 3 billion dollars.
So in real terms they collected less than 3 billion or conversely they should have collected close to 4 billion dollars.
What makes this misplaced celebration of revenue is not only a dubious celebration but is very cruel because Biman is congratulating himself and FRCS for increasing the burden on the poor and the working class of Fiji.
Biman and Manoa and some of their erstwhile and myopic supporters always have only one come back when we analyse the economy – debt levels.
We have already provided various analyses on debt a number of times. Suffice to say under Biman, debt has significantly increased in such a short period of time and nothing to show for it. There has been no major cyclone, no pandemic and almost no new infrastructure development, except for the completion of those projects that were started under the Prime Ministership of Frank Bainimarama. Funnily enough, now Biman wants to talk about debt to GDP ratio as opposed to the actual total dollar value of debt, which was the opposite when he was in Opposition. Of course, mainstream media under their self declared freedom don’t feel free enough to carry out such analysis.
The fact is the Economy has been severely disrupted by these abrupt changes. The fact is that the debt stock has increased. The fact is that the increased debt has not translated into any major capital infrastructure investments by government. The fact is that government operational expenditure has gone up. The fact is there was no need to increase VAT. The fact is there was no need to increase corporate tax. The fact is we were not defaulting in our debts prior to 24 December 2024. The fact is we borrowed money to see us through COVID by providing unemployment benefits and other services. And, the fact is we borrowed money to build schools, hospitals, new roads, police stations, bridges and jetties and rebuild after approximately 12 cyclones in less than 10 years. One of which destroyed one third the value of our GDP in less than 36 hours.
Borrowing for such purposes with sustainability, to build productive capacity, unleash individual and private sector confidence and investment is, as stated previously, good use of debt.
Prime Minister Rabuka must do far more than what Biman and Manoa are doing to urgently help Fijians who are on social welfare, the poor, the working class, private pensioners, our children, ordinary Fijians and those on the forefront of providing essential services such as police officers who have to deal with law and order, the drug situation and our nurses and doctors.
It all boils down to having compassion for the poor, the working class, and ordinary Fijians, while knowing in practical terms what drives everyone, including businesses, to engage with confidnece and gainfully in the Economy.
As Bill Clinton’s campaign slogan said ‘It is the Economy, stupid’.

The bastards have done the unimaginable in 16 months. I hope they NEVER talk about 16 years again. The swines.
Never again in my living years will I vote for any of them again.
Coalition Govt hypocrisy at its best. When Coalition witnessed DPP Pride exchanging words with Kaiyum, DPP Pride was suspended indefinitely without pay. The coalition is eating its own vomit. hahahaha bloody racist and hypocrites
