# DEMOCRACY FIJI STYLE. A MAN IS BEHIND BARS FOR INSULTING THE COALITION’S RESIDENT DRUG-TAKING SLUT

Posted on March 7, 2026 15 Comments

Lui Vuiberata: Behind bars

Lynda Tabuya – the Minister for Information, Environment and Climate Change – is an amoral, lying strumpet who was found guilty by her own party of a sex and illicit drugs scandal yet has prospered under the equally amoral leadership of “Rolex Rambo” – the Prime Minister who continues to refuse to disclose the source of a $150,000 gold Rolex watch that many suspect came from Tabuya.

She is hopelessly compromised across a broad front – a woman who lied about her true income to the Elections Office by claiming she was “divorced” from her multi-millionaire husband when they are very much married. And allegedly used her friendship with the dismissed FICAC Commissioner, Barbara Malimali, to block an investigation into similar allegations that currently have Biman Prasad – the sidelined deputy prime minister – facing a serious criminal charge.

Protected: Lynda and Barbie

Before that, she and her husband, Rob Semann – the co-owner of Fiji’s biggest construction firm, Pacific Building Solutions, and the recipient of a string of government contracts – fled the United States leaving behind debts of more than $F100-million from their failed fat-busting business and destroyed the savings of dozens of ordinary “Mom and Dad” investors.

Lynda’s Tabuya’s personal conduct is that of a street whore. Grubsheet has covered in excruciating detail her antics in Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne in 2023 when fueled by marijuana and Jack Daniels whisky, she enticed her fellow minister, Aseri Radrodro, from the bed he was sharing with his wife, Sainiana, in an adjoining room, for a “brutal” sex session that she said, in leaked text messages, left her struggling to walk the following day. (see below) It prompted Grubsheet to dub her the “Minister for Bonking and Weed”.

That episode led to an official People’s Alliance Inquiry that established the facts of her “sex and illicit drug scandal” (also see below) but the PAP under Sitiveni Rabuka is so degenerate as a political force that she was permitted to remain as Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection.

She was only removed in December 2024 after a second scandal in which she made a pornographic video while she was co-chair of the government’s Anti-Porn Task Force. When it was leaked, Tabuya risibly claimed that the video was for the benefit of her “husband” from whom she is officially divorced for income declaration purposes. Yet allegations persist that she was actually in the presence of one of her many lovers over the years – a Fijian member of the British Army.

“Rolex Rambo”: Answers please

Her reputation shredded, Lynda Tabuya languished on the back benches for a time but was then reinstated to the cabinet by the Prime Minister as Minister for Information in October 2025 on the risible grounds that “every saint has a past, every sinner has a future”. Yet it coincided with Sitiveni Rabuka sporting his $150,000 gold Rolex and neither the Prime Minister nor Lynda Tabuya have addressed the question as to whether it was she who gave him the watch in return for her rehabilitation.

Incredibly, she has since gone from not only being the Coalition’s face to the nation and the world as Information Minister but of representing Fiji in the great forums of the world as Minister for Climate Change.

It is a scandal that would have seen Lynda Tabuya banished from public life in any other democracy other than the amoral rabble that passes for governance in Fiji. Yet even more scandalous has been her use of the law to pursue anyone who dares to draw attention to her outrageous conduct.

In the wake of her successive affronts – illicit drugs, extramarital sex, lies and hypocrisy – Tabuya has crafted a narrative of being the victim of social media “shaming” when it is she who is guilty of shameful conduct and a betrayal of public trust that patently warrants her being brought to account.

She has a been a prime mover behind Fiji adopting harsh criminal penalties for so-called “hate speech” against anyone who uses social media to “name and shame” others irrespective of the context and the truth of such allegations. Which brings us to the latest scandal of someone who made derogatory comments about Lynda Tabuya on TikTok currently languishing behind bars while the case against him is heard.

Lui Vuiberata has pleaded guilty in the High Court over derogatory posts he made about Lynda Tabuya and is awaiting sentencing. Grubsheet cannot canvass the actual details because they are sub judice. But we can certainly make the point that it is scandalous that he is being held in custody while the case is determined. Put behind bars for making derogatory statements about a lying, amoral slut? Is this what Fiji has come to?

If Lynda Tabuya doesn’t like what anyone says about her – Grubsheet included – it is open to her to use the laws of defamation to defend herself and obtain restitution. But she won’t do that because the defence of anyone under the circumstances would be truth. And the truth of her unpardonable conduct is there for all to see.

Yet not being able to restore her reputation through a defamation action because she doesn’t have a reputation to defend in the first place isn’t this harlot’s last resort. The “hate speech” legislation she has spearheaded through the parliament doesn’t have the same requirement to demonstrate truth. It’s enough to establish that Lui Vuiberata made derogatory comments about her.

Oi, Lynda, how about coming after me for making derogatory remarks about you? You can’t have me charged with hate speech in Fiji because I am beyond your reach. You could sue me for defamation in the New South Wales courts as Richard “I have the means” Naidu threatened to do but the defence would be truth and it would be a feast for the media. Even reporting me to the local e-Safety Commissioner had you splashed over page 3 of The Australian two years ago. So bring it on.

Now Lui Vuiberata sits on remand in custody with accused murderers, thieves and rapists waiting for Justice Daniel Gounder to hear whether there are any mitigating circumstances before pronouncing sentence on him. If that’s justice, then the law in Fiji under the Coalition truly is an ass.

In the meantime, Lynda, you should hang your head in shame for putting Lui Vuiberata behind bars. He is not alone. There is an army of Fijians who have had enough of your disgraceful antics and your manipulation of the Prime Minister and the law.

Make no mistake. We are intent on you getting your comeuppance. And we will be on your case all the way to election day.

From today’s Fiji Sun

——————————-

The “smoking gun” letter finding Lynda Tabuya guilty of a “sex and illicit drug scandal” causing “severe and probably irreparable damage to the image and reputation of the People’s Alliance” that has never been published in Fiji.

It isn’t going away.

Rehabilitated and on one of her latest outings with her “divorced” husband

What Justice David Ashton-Lewis said in the CoI Report:

That video. Made when Lynda Tabuya was co-chair of the government’s Anti-Pornography Task Force.

Restored to power by “Rolex Rambo”. Did she give him the watch?

# EXPOSED: LYNDA TABUYA AND BARBARA MALIMALI’S BIG LIE

What the Ashton-Lewis Commission of Inquiry Report says about Lynda Tabuya:

There is no evidence that this has happened in the case of Lynda Tabuya. But what else is new?

The section on Lynda from the CoI Report.

And some of the leaked text messages from Room 233 between Lynda Tabuya and Aseri Radrodro that will haunt them all the way to election day.

And guess what, Fiji? Lynda Tabuya is in the exalted position of Minister for Information, Environment and Climate Change and Luis Vuiberata is behind bars awaiting sentence for making derogatory remarks about her.

That’s the state of our blighted nation under this corrupt government.

Remember Luis. And vote for anyone other than the Coalition parties and especially Lynda and her patron – the Snake with the Gold Rolex – who has reduced us to this sorry state.

For more stories on Lynda Tabuya, just type her name into the Grubsheet search engine on the right. If you can bear it.

And then sit back in stunned silence at the sheer audacity of the woman.

NOTE TO GRUBSHEET READERS:

CommonMan’s latest contribution has been delayed as he struggles to recover from the heavy rain and flooding that has swept much of the country in recent days.

” Cola vina GD…up to my neck with farm work after nearly 7 straight days of non-stop rain. I had just planted a little over 400 pawpaw plants in the week prior and 90 per cent of it got ruined. Now I have to start all over again”.

Isa. Our thoughts this weekend are with CommonMan and all Fijians who have been affected by the adverse weather conditions.

The very best of us who deserve better than the government they have got.

I guess all of the above makes Bush Dancer Lynda the ideal person to replace the senile PM.

Many Fijians would agree with me because the vulagi will never be able to understand how iTaukei culture works.

The most sanctimonious and supercilious woman to ever walk the halls of power.

Having her in a government is like sex in an elevator, wrong on every level.

But, she would know all about that being the trollop that she is.

Whether it’s going up by “elevator ” or by “Stairway to Heaven -Led Zeppelin” the ones who try to buy their way up may get a surprising reception from the heavenly angels: Who are you, do we know you? For many of the ” God is good all the time it suits me” and the saints who intentionally keep on sinning brigade in Fiji, this may possibly be of relevance. Final decision to be from the Chief Judge on the throne.

I believe she is in Marrakech. She brings nothing to the table, just traveling the globe at taxpayer’s expense. Why is she traveling during these volatile times? Someone had mentioned that it was the PM’ Valentines Day gift to her.

She couldn’t gain traction with all the defamation cases she had filed in Australia and England. So the cop out and win for her and the state is punishing a tax payer who will now cost other taxpayers.

The only solution she can come up with is to ban porn or ban TikTok. She went from eating planes during the pandemic to allegedly using drugs. You know what’s funny, she will call for a ban on porn, social media but never for mandatory drug testing of politicians.

Has she had a single positive contribution for the people of Fiji as a Minister?

She is vacuous and useless as a Minister. She has no climate change background but she went after the portfolio for the travel, per diems and to make speeches.

She was the one who tabled pay increases for parliamentarians after criticising the previous government.

A greedy, unprincipled, lying woman who will get kicked out at the next election.

GD don’t forget she’s the reason Ben Padarath is also before the courts . Biman and Lynda also complained against a social media post by Ben during Christmas week I believe and Ben is thus charged for a crime similar to the Tik Tokers!

Hopeless woman ! Blessed Father’s Day tomorrow GD

With all these social media posts being taken to court, how come there was dancing on the streets about Fiji being a free country?

I don’t see many people dancing on the streets anymore. Haven’t really seen any dancing after the first week of the election as the reality set in.

Lawyers from Munro Leys took to Social media, twitter after elections to garner support that everyone is safe.

Now when we are having all these drug busts, murders, other crimes… none of them are active anymore.

I am guessing they are busy playing dress up at fancy events to care about ordinary Fijians as vocally as they did before.

Even Richard “I have the means” Naidu doesn’t whine about the government anymore. I do wonder if he is lamu of Rabuka or okay with whatever shit that’s been going on. A man so passionate about democracy and rule of law suddenly goes quiet? Something is amiss.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
