# EID MUBARAK!

Posted on March 31, 2025 5 Comments

We send warm greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate the end of Ramadan.

Plus a shout-out for the Fiji Sun‘s award-winning photographer, Ronald Kumar, for two wonderful Eid images in Tuesday’s edition of the paper.

Brilliant. The Sun‘s Ronald Kumar.

EID Mubarak to our Muslim family members. May this EID be a joyous one. Sadly thousands are suffering in Gaza to be able to enjoy this occasion. We will remember them !

You shouldn’t be making these types of posts. Do you see how few people have commented on it. It is because nobody really wants to see such meaningless posts. Do you not have a life? Keep making these types of posts and people will boycott your blog soon. This is a religion that was spread through force. This religion caused so many deaths of innocent people. By making such posts, you are appreciating the crimes of this religion. But you enjoy and celebrate the deaths, rapes and torture caused by this religion, don’t you? You’re even lower than a scum.

You can bugger off permanently. It is my blog and I will write what I bloody well like.

Do you know how many millions of innocent people have been killed by Christians over the years? And Christians killed by Christians? Evidently not. Because you are an uneducated bum.

I will not tolerate religious bigotry here. I could have simply deleted your disgraceful comment but it is important for everyone in Fiji to realise the depth of prejudice and hatred against religious minorities on the part of cowards like you.

You are the one who is lower than scum. And if I see you submit a comment again, it will be automatically deleted.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
