Sitiveni Rabuka lives in a parallel universe in which he thinks he can conduct himself in a manner contrary to political and community norms and get away with it without having to face the judgment of the people.
The Prime Minister has defied his own party by retaining Lynda Tabuya as Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection when a People’s Alliance disciplinary committee found the accounts of her drug-fuelled sex romp with Aseri Radrodro in Melbourne proven and stripped her of the PAP deputy leadership.
He has defied public opinion by standing by Lynda Tabuya when she has engaged in scandalous conduct that would have had her fired from any reputable government in the world.
We now have a Minister for Women and Children in Fiji who enticed someone else’s husband to her bed while his wife slept in a hotel room nearby and had sex with him that she described as so “brutal” that she had trouble walking the following day.
We now have a Minister for Women and Children in Fiji who says she was “high on weed” – marijuana – and drunk on Jack Daniels whiskey. She has broken the law on foreign soil during an official overseas visit by a Fijian parliamentary delegation and yet she survives when other citizens would have had the book thrown at them.
She has brought disgrace to herself, to her party, the Coalition government and Fiji’s image in the world. No-one who meets her in any official capacity from now on will be unaware of what the PAP disciplinary committee has found. Lynda Tabuya’s credibility is shattered and no-one with any judgment will want to be photographed with her because of the risk of being tainted by the scandal that has enveloped her.
She is a scarlet woman and a political lame duck. And she will be a gross liability for the People’s Alliance and the reputation of the Coalition as a whole all the way to the next election, when her sexual conduct and drug taking will be a central element of the campaign. Why? Because it goes to the heart of voter disillusionment with the self-indulgent conduct of the fat cats in government who are supposed to be setting an example for the nation and especially our young people.
Sitiveni Rabuka – who has the same promiscuous sexual history as his Minister – has the temerity to tell the Fijian people that Lynda Tabuya’s case is closed. No Prime Minister. The Fijian people and right thinking people everywhere will be on your case, and on her case, as long as you both remain in politics because of your appalling moral failure and lack of political judgment.
As the women of Fiji and their children struggle to stay dry this Easter, struggle to get access to drinking water and their families are caught in a never-ending struggle to get food on the table, the chasm between their idea of what is right and wrong and the squalid standards set by this Prime Minister and his Minister for Women and Children have never been greater.
While the mums and dads of Fiji worry about their children being exposed to drugs, the Minister for Women boasts of being “high” on marijuana. While teachers struggle to instil proper values in our young people, this is the example set by our leaders. Wanna know why the country is in such a mess, Fiji? Qori.
Grubsheet, for one, isn’t going to “close this case” at all. Every time Lynda Tabuya appears in public with anyone of standing or a foreign dignitary, I will be targeting her. And them. That’s a promise. And every time she is photographed with Sitiveni Rabuka, we are all going to be reminded of the grubby deal done by a grubby Prime Minister with the Coalition’s Minister for Bonking and Weed to keep them both in power.
This has only one ending, Prime Minister. A bad one. Trashed reputations, the scorn of your own party and a slow political death for both of you.
Happy Easter, Lovebirds.
NOTE: I am on holidays and comments will not be cleared until I return on April 8. But do keep them coming.
UPDATE APRIL 6:
Where’s Lynda? Nowhere to be seen at the launch of a major Australian-funded initiative. Wonder why? Yes, “politics needs women”. Just not her.
Still here says
Lynda Tabuya is our national parliament bitch.
Sincerely,
Women of Fiji
Heathcliffe says
Not much of a role model for women and young persons in power. Being allowed to continue on as Minister makes is shameful. Is this Rabukas 2024 version of can do Taukeism. The last time he unleashed himself the National Bank of Fiji collapsed and the brain drain occurred.
Had enough says
Lynda is Rabuka’s mistress.
Sack them both.
Call for fresh elections.
They both have ruined the Coalition.
Mere J says
I thought I voted wisely.
No more.
Not a single vote is going to PAP or SODELPA ever.
Just turned the whole nation into a banana republic.
Not my PM.
Ashamed says
Rabuka is gone GB! A filthy liar and a sad sad reflection of a politician people thought they could call a leader ! Sadly this is what the people wanted ! So desperate to remove Bainimarama, whose only real fault is having listened to one person only for advise and that being the criminal ASK who manipulated his way through the last decade thinking it wouldn’t end one day!
I want to list a few things Rabuka and his current govt failed to address;
1. Turn the one stinking Albert Park into a national treasure and pride of Suva Today.
2. Have the political will to get the GPH sorted and rebuilt into its status today .
3. Built the beautiful Vatuwaqa and Suva market bridges into world class ones.
4. Transfer the Nasese seashore into a beauty once it’ll finish shortly.
5. Assist businesses establish Damodar city, Labasa Damodar complex, Establish Nadi Jetpoint
6. Establish Rups Complex 9 miles
7. Help the Nausori landowners to get the new beautiful complex about to open in Nausori
8. Transform the Nadi Airport into a world class people friendly airport from its previous dirty one
9. Improve the Nadi roads and Suva to Nausori main roads
10. Establish the Navua Hospital
11. Establish the Nakasi and Nabua state of the art Police Stations amongst many others you name them !!
Rabuka has no idea because sadly those he selected to get into power with him are scums. People who lie naturally and are criminals that have bullied the general voters to vote for them!! Remember the way social media was so distasteful leading up to the change in govt ? That was them !! Now all quiet on social media except for Kishore Kumar of course !!
GD the country was bullied psychologically and hence we have a lot in govt today not worthy of the Hon affixed to their names least of all the scandalous Lynda Tabuya who like the promiscuous Sitiveni Rabuka have never had experience leading change ! Leading development or leading community engagement !!
Lastly, GD like the third world country we are, we will limp all the way to elections because Sitiveni Rabuka is intent to rob those who voted for Frank Bainimarama the opportunity to vote for him again! Pursuing Bainimarama is the biggest mistake they can make because now people are very aware that it’s political prosecution and people are already aware that what Frank provided via Telts Loans is now not possible !
We now have students who cannot go to university anymore because they need 65% to get Telts and that means straight B grades and above ! Previously even if they had a loan, they get a degree and once working , they can pay those loans ! Now, they don’t get a degree at all and subsequently no jobs worthy of building proper lives !
Rabuka I speak to you now because you are reading this and your sad ugly deflated advisers like Samisoni Pareti, all greyed with a fat belly similar to Peter Wise and Luke Rokovada! Your days are numbered ! Tell Temo he will join you in prison for abuse of office and that’s a promise !! Abuse of processes !! You name it!!
The easiest one that will be used is on the process you did for your equally stupid ex son in law !
You sacked him using FNU as an excuse ! Then you admitted you got wrong advise !! Then you state Sodelpa to meet and advise on way forward . They do and demand their Minister reinstated. Then you say you’ll consider it and it may take months or 2 years or even 4 years to reinstate him! And, you also drag out that he beat your daughter almost to death ( using that as an excuse to sack him is not an option for the case you initially used).
Power Rabuka isn’t abused ! A govt system has processes ! Had you wanted to sack him for being a violent abusing husband more than a decade ago, you should have insisted to Sodelpa you weren’t having him in your cabinet ! The lies lies lies Rabuka is now hallmark of your pathetic leadership .
It’s a mouthful from me today GD but much needs to be put out there so we ensure Rabuka and his cronies know they are now hanging by a thread! I for one know Sodelpa is preparing to ditch them so their end may be sooner than later ! Check out the new Fijian Holdings Chairman! It’s no longer the RBF named money launderer Sakiusa Raivoce but not one of Ifereimi Vasu’s Kai from Kadavu! Done after Vasu refused to recognize Rabuka’s directives anymore to retain Raivoce! Sounds familiar ? Yep Rabuka did the same with Aseri Radrodro insisting he hire Kesaia Seniloli to Chair FNU Council not recognizing it’s an ex officio position tied to the position of Chancellor!
Sodelpa is now ready to appoint Aseri Radrodro as its Party Leader backed by a powerful Qaranivalu and a Board that is aware despite being conned by Lynda Tabuya and Rabuka and being stupid enough to fall for their schemes, Aseri remains a balanced and respected leader in the community especially with his position to respect, listen and advocate for Indo Fijians and the other much needed minority ethnic groups who also call Fiji home and have contributed immensely to the country .
GD I know you detest Radrodro and I am with you with respect to his violent past. However, I will support him for leadership because sometimes we have to balance the good of the many over an incident from years ago that his rehabilitated from (saying this knowing there’s been no records of any further violence from him ). Even if he gets destroyed at the next elections , Radrodro needs to become Sodelpa Party Leader, take that party by the reigns and get them to throw out the treacherous Gavoka and the PAP government ! Work with Colonel Seruiratu and the other balanced guys in FFP. There’s a lot they can save and they need to do so fast!! Including throwing ASK into political retirement !
Enjoy your Saturday GD and thank you as always !!

Who you looking at? says
The case is definately not closed until the Temptress opens her mouth in a big way and she will. It is just a matter of time. The forces of nature works in strange ways. All the praying and fasting to a vulagi god will not help.
You can straighten fuzzy hair on the outside, but it will still gorw fuzzy from the inside. Nothing has changed with the PM or the Temptress.
As for Baimaan and others who are desperately holding on to their jobs and burying their heads in the sand so that they can live a life of fakeness, how long can that continue. Their speeches and interviews are so pathetic and without substance. This government is without any substance. Look at the unions and their leaders, aren’t they so pathetic. And what about Blinky Bill Gavoka, he is the defintion of pathetic. He is worse than useless.
What irks me is that in the new ‘free’ Fiji, no one is marching in the streets. I believe that it is because there is more fear in the new free Fiji.
I feel for the “churen” of Fiji and their future. People like these are the reason Fiji will never improve as this uselessness is ingrained into the “churen” and the third world mentality is perpetuated. That has exactly what has happened in Fiji all along.
Belinda says
These shenanigans happening in the government are the charateristics of a true Banana Republic, led by the big banana himself, a complete crackpot. But what is absolutely amazing is that, that is exactly what the people of Fiji want!!!
I mean, why don’t those who found the Temptress guilty and sacked her from the deputy leadership, resign in protest. Everyone is hanging on to their dear jobs. They all are self-servers and the people of Fiji are oblivious, or simply stupid or both.
The idiots complain about potholes and hospitals instead of fixing the real problem.
And then they all wonder why they are where they are!!!
Calling on the youth. says
Back in 1987 we had 1st year university students teaching us because Fiji had a massive brain drain.
I today, at 40+ of age, trust 1st year university students to lead this country than these men. I give up.
They all need to go.
Where are the youth at?
Can we make this youth republic buju country into a safe country?
Form a party.
Stand up.
By youth – anyone upto 30 years in Fiji will be ok.
Paul says
Absolutely disgusting! She must be removed from office! Is there no decency in our government? What about the rules of conduct? So disgraceful!
It's a no brainer says
Would someone also tell her to dress appropriately. Body hugging silver lame, tight fitting suits and men’s suit copies are not appropriate for Fijian women if they want to maintain traditional culture and values.
I married a high status Fijian 12 years ago and haven’t worn a pair of jeans since. I don’t mind. Otherwise some will say about my husband – what’s wrong with him, he can’t teach her the right way?
Please tell.Linda that pants might be ok at home but not in parliament or official duties.
She is a disgrace and a laughing stock. Yes Lynda, we are ALL laughing at you. Resign please. Cegu Mada.
Nfp voter says
Its stinking like shit this coalition. Taking photos and posting on social media and getting few likes from some real idiots is all that remains of this government.
NFP is on a photo spree, SoDelpa are what the call themselves the LOST tribe, totally lost. And Rabuka is the snake which people have always known him to be.
Why did we do this to our beloved nation. So much is lost, its best people are leaving in droves yet still this government stands blind.
Its politicians are creating generational wealth for themselves by laying in bed with billion dollar corporations and drug lords. All this while they have convinced the naive people that alling extra VAT is good for the people.
Is there even one person who can say yes I have benefited by paying more VAT?
Wake up Fiji, kick these unprincipled government out. Is there no statesman in Fiji who can lead a rising against these liars and deceivers to free our country?
We are seeking doom if we dont speak up now. There will be nothing left to save. No one who has left will come back.
Bunch of wankers says
That unquestionably prejudiced CJ must recuse himself from the Bainimarama case.
If he does not, the next thing he will do is abrogate the Constitution in an illegal way. He will have a free hand and become a law unto himself. All the crooks working in collusion must be stopped. They all will have their day in court one day, don’t they undertstand that? They may consider themselves to be the lost tribe, the chosen people and Israelites living in the Pacific, that does not mean they can commit crimes with impunity like the Israelis.
Muttusami says
So from now on no matter how grave the issue is, the PM can’t sack any other Minister?
So why did he move the Education Minister to the back bench earlier and also why he is waiting for the AG to reply if he interfered with his police investigation?
This is clearly a Banana Republic!
PAP Corrupt Immoral Fat Cats says
Tragic indeed how the People’s Alliance party fat cats met behind closed doors, weighed their options and decided that the good governance they promised us during their election campaign in 2022 was all LIES. Smoke and mirrors.
We’re not voting for you in 2026!
Keeping the screw -loose MP in Cabinet and in government because she got x number of votes (next election year she wont, God will see to that) and one if the old farts probably argued that politics is all about numbers, blah, blah, blah, shows how OUT OF TOUCH these fat cats are with governing a country.
Worse still, they’re all guilty. She knows. She slept with a lot of them. Its time for Jezebel to cash in on sleeping with old men yielding temporary power, right? Their selfish greed will consume them and theirs when they least expect it. ’Winter’ is coming, folks!
Where are the good ones?
Disgraced Rabuku says
I read this today.
https://www.fijitimes.com.fj/magistrate-puamau-explains-ruling/
What else does Rabuku want?
Magistrate Puamau has delivered a fair judgement to this case.
The shit show by illegally appointed Rabuku must stop.
This is an organized mafia like move otherwise that undermines the state and the legal standing of the courts. Taking that and rubbishing it “disgraceful” is disgraceful in itself.
No closure till people say so says
Totally agree GD.
Rabuka doesn’t seem to realise that he is a servant of the people, not the other way round!
His condescending statement that the LT case is closed is so reminiscent of his 90s government telling the entire nation that the NBF (THEFT) saga is “water under the bridge”, meaning “forget the NBF debtors paying off their debts as the taxpayers will foot their bills instead”.
Lying Lynda and her competing escorts Rabuka & Radrodro, should never be given any form of power again. The trio must keep their abuse and lying habits contained within their households as the public cannot be dragged down to their level of filth and corruption.
On another note, I don’t understand why former women parliamentarians of Fiji did not throw their support behind Adi Sivia Qoro’s public call for Lynda Tabuya to step down or be sacked.
Why didn’t these former women leaders in the august house step up to support Adi Qoro’s stance?? Was Lynda’s scandalous behaviour as an MP, acceptable to them?? Their complete silence speaks volumes about their stance and the standards they uphold as former MPs. Bloody Shameful lot!!
Kuku PM losing it. says
The lunatic of a PM decided that the case is closed on Tabuya. He has given her a letter that she is only privy to.
Dumb just got dumber.
Tabuya is an MP employed by the government and the taxpayers pay for her salary and bonking.
The PM has no right to keep any letter to Tabuya confidential.
Doesn’t work like that Qase!
Shows how corrupt and in each other pants these two are.
Hail the Temptress. Not.
Guru Singh says
Now we all knew that he was not going to do anything about it. From what moral position will he be coming, and God knows what secrets are buried in his closet that his Minister for Weed and Bonking isn’t privy to.
Anyone that thought he was going to do anything needs an expectation reset
Leadership in crisis says
Crisis is a good time to build the culture that one wants to portray. Unfortunately for this madam and her lover PM the opportunity is gone beyond acceptable. Rabuka doesn’t think twice that this has equally brought his leadership down with her. And the voters don’t forget easily.
MokuSiga says
Grubsheet, holiday is over, back to ‘work’ please, lol.
Frances Raicebe says
Well articulated Graham. I am not at all surprised at the turn out of events as SLR is really ”scrared” of LT as she will ”spill the beans” if she was to be terminated from parliament! That is the very reason he personally hand- delivered the letter to her; he has made mockery of himself!
He will obviously need LT’s vote in the upcoming 2025 budget ….hahaha!
Let us see if he changes his stance towards LT once the 2025 budget is approved!
More events coming up and interesting days ahead!!!!
Demand rule of law says
First he says it’s “ not up to him” then he says “cased closed”.
I can’t believe nobody is standing up for rule of law, for transparency. The PM has the final say and that’s that? Fijians are way too trusting.
Looks like an authoritarian regime.
As long as rules aren’t followed it could mean anything can happen.
