Guess what, Fiji. Lynda Tabuya wants you to believe that the nude video of her that half the country has seen, along with much of the diaspora and the world, was a private act for her “husband” – who she once claimed she had been divorced from for eight years but who she now calls her spouse – that is nobody’s business but her own. It is a lie. And it is just one of the many lies that the sacked minister for bonking and weed has told the Fijian people ever since her antics with Aseri Radrodro were revealed in Room 233 of Melbourne’s Windsor Hotel in August 2023.
Lynda Tabuya has managed to con a great many people. And especially gormless idiots like the fallen Saint, Shamima of Ali – the head of the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre – who is continuing to maintain the preposterous notion that Lynda Tabuya has done “nothing illegal” and that the Prime Minister’s decision to sack the Co-Chair of the government’s Anti-Porn Task Force for making a pornographic video is an act of misogyny.
Nonsense. It is a legitimate response by a Prime Minister who had already been fooled into giving Lynda Tabuya a pardon for the unpardonable “brutal” “sex and illicit drugs scandal” in Room 233 during her official parliamentary visit to Australia 16 months ago. Shamima Ali is someone who receives hundreds of thousands of dollars every year from the international community to publicly defend someone whose conduct has breached all conventions in politics the civilised world over. And the more she opens her mouth on this issue, the more stupid and disconnected from reality she becomes.
The following is what is emerging as the disciplinary committee of the People’s Alliance begins a three week investigation into the circumstances of Lynda Tabuya’s sex video that can only end one way if the PAP is to maintain a skerrick of credibility – with her expulsion from the Party and her expulsion from the parliament. Because her colleagues have had enough. And Shamima Ali and the gaggle of apologists who have come to Tabuya’s side – Nilesh Lal, Shailendra Singh and Roshika Deo – are going to wind up with egg all over their faces if what Grubsheet is being told is true.
Here’s the thing, Fiji. Lynda Tabuya was found guilty last March of a “sex and illicit drug scandal” by the People’s Alliance that resulted in the Prime Minister co-signing a letter to her stripping her of her deputy leadership of the PAP. No matter how often Shamima Ali and the tattered columns of Tabuya’s defence team cast it and choose to ignore what happened, it is indisputable FACT.
Now, in addition to her scandalous conduct in Room 233 and her dismissal as deputy leader of the People’s Alliance, we have a fresh video of her cavorting naked in front of a camera and shoving her unshaved “bush” and ample butt into the face of anyone unfortunate enough to see it – a growing army of tens of thousands of people in Fiji, the diaspora and a startled world.
Who was it for? Who filmed it? Much of Fiji is speculating about what might have happened. Was it for Aseri Radrodro, the Minister of Education who gave Lynda Tabuya such a “brutal” rogering in Room 233 in August 2023 when Radrodro’s wife, Sainiana, was sleeping in an adjacent room that the Minister for Women and Children complained that she couldn’t walk the following day? Did Sainiana get the latest video out of Aseri’s phone and leak it just as she did the devastating text messages that cost Lynda the deputy leadership last March? According to some reports, that’s what Lynda has told the police.
Yet while many are speculating about the possibility of Sainiana again blowing the whistle on the Queen of Tarts, there’s another scenario that has come to Grubsheet’s attention from those in the know, including some who now have three weeks to decide Lynda Tabuya’s fate. And boy, is it a grubby little story that should sink her once and for all and make Shamima Ali and her other apologists look totally used and stupid.
According to my own sources, Lynda Tabuya is lying, just as she lied in the wake of the events in Room 233 and her absurd claim that it wasn’t her and the images were generated by “artificial intelligence”. (the only kind of intelligence in Fiji when it comes to Lynda’s supporters).
What’s the common identifier here? Three tattoos of turtles etched on Lynda Tabuya’s body. It is HER and there is no denying it. What is different this time is that she acknowledges that it is her but that it is a private matter between her and her “husband” and is no-one else’s business. Despite that fact that she told FICAC that she and her husband have been divorced for the past eight years.
Well here’s the real story, according to PAP insiders who are now investigating what happened as Shamima Ali and Lynda Tabuya’s other apologists try to muddy the waters and get her off the hook.
The sensational video in question was allegedly shot in a hotel room in Denarau not by Aseri Radrodro but one of Lynda Tabuya’s other lovers – an iTaukei soldier in the British Army who is remaining nameless for the moment but whose identity will be eventually revealed. It was not “a consensual act for the benefit of her husband, Rob Semaan“. That account by Lynda Tabuya is a lie.
It is she and her gormless supporters who are making the claim of “cyber bullying” and “gender violence”. And she is using her current, (or is it former husband?) as a smokescreen in a situation in which Rob Semaan’s silence in the whole affair is deafening. Honestly. What torment must his man be going through to have his name again dragged through the mud by his wife’s ( or is it former wife’s) licentiousness?
Why hasn’t he publicly come to her defence? Answer: He would have to acknowledge that his wife was bonking an iTaukei British Army soldier in a Denarau hotel room ( “for his benefit?”) just months after she was exposed for having had “brutal” sex with her fellow minister, Aseri Radrodro, in Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne. (For his benefit too?) Poor Rob Semaan must be unusually broadminded as Fijian husbands go. But why haven’t we heard from him? Good question.

How?
1. There’s too much “beans” Lynda has on the current alpha males in government. Her lies is the subtle reminder to all of them. Ruin me? I’ll Start spilling.
2. Fiji has no money. Lynda knows this, and so the NGOs will be manipulated into believing that she is the victim. Shameless Shamima and other NGO execs will put enough pressure on these organisations and the subsequent pressure on Rabuka and the government. No exoneration for Lynda, decreased or even stoppage of aid.
4. Rabuka will pull the forgiveness card and Lynda will be new minister for Drug Rehabilitation an Addiction Prevention. Keep in mind that Rabuka is looking at 2026. Lynda, despite her lack of clear moral judgment, pulled in over 11,000 votes in 2022. Fijian mentality is that once a person is forgiven then they’re entitled to another chance.
5. Given the mixed up morals Rabuka has consistently displayed, he will proudly state to the nation that everyone deserves a second chance and that Lynda has served her time on the sidelines.
6. Understood that this scenario is far fetched, but consider for a moment what Rabuka is capable of pulling off. A pedo President, a totally deranged CJ, collusion in regard to the suspended DPPs entitlements, and a fair hearing. His ability to keep the Fiji media on very tight leash in what he and his cronies call, “new age of media freedom for Fiji.”
Fiji deserves way better, and what has transpired under Rabukas leadership has been proven to be utterly disastrous. If he is empowered to continue, then yes, Fiji is on a course that will be very difficult to retract from.

I can see why 21 days is needed as most of the committee members are out partying with their respective families.

In any event, the countries and agencies who fund the Fiji government & NGOs should be reviewing their policies and have better measure of how the money they provide is used. But the reality is they are probably just as lazy and self indulgent to care. Free trips to Fiji, treated like loyalty. Why has there been no change of guard at FWCC. The positions should be only for term.
