# MS PIGGY OF KADAVU SELF IMMOLATES

Posted on May 26, 2024 28 Comments

Chair of the swine at the parliamentary trough

Lynda Tabuya might have survived in the cabinet after her antics in Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel but on social media, she is burning to a crisp like overcooked bacon as Chair of the Special Committee on Emoluments that filled the trough for the parliamentary pigs on Friday.

There has been an eruption of white hot anger across the country and Lynda Tabuya is the main target – her credibility shredded like pulled pork to the point that her political future must be in serious doubt.

Many Fijians appear to have been comfortable with her smoking “weed” and enticing her fellow minister and Emoluments Committee member, Aseri Radrodro, to engage in “brutal” sex with her last August while Radrodro’s wife, Sainiana, slept in an adjoining room. Many Fijians appear to have been comfortable with her lying to the Prime Minister and the PAP disciplinary committee that eventually found her guilty and stripped her of the deputy leadership of the party. Many Fijians appear to have been comfortable with the Prime Minister retaining her as Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation for offences that would have her dismissed anywhere else in the world. But signing off as Chair of the Emoluments Committee on an orgy of spending on her fellow swine at the parliamentary trough has been a bridge too far. And Lynda Tabuya’s reputation has been trashed.

Enabled and empowered by the “Snake”

It wasn’t long ago that Grubsheet was being pilloried as the “sad, old white man” droning on about proper standards in government amid a chorus of “give them a chance”. But for the first time, Lynda Tabuya and her patron, Sitiveni Rabuka, have managed to unite even previously staunch supporters, including PAP members, in a volcanic eruption of rage about feathering the already cushy nests of MPs when a third of the country lives in poverty and Fijian families are genuinely struggling to make ends meet.

Those 40 MPs who voted for the unconscionable salary and perks hikes are being cast as social and political pariahs who have betrayed the people who elected them. It’s a sign of how out of touch they are that they didn’t see this backlash coming. But it is so intense that any hard heads still left in politics must surely realise that it is going to haunt both sides of politics all the way to the next election.

Incredibly, Captain Gaga doubles down. On the golf course

Lynda Tabuya was already carrying the excess baggage of her sexploits and drug taking but she is now being cast as the multimillionaire who led the push for the fat cats of the parliament to get even fatter. And even if she thought she had survived her antics in Room 233, she is not going to survive this.

Ms Piggy of Kadavu – the Queen of Tarts and Great Temptress – is being well and truly skewered on social media by those who used to sing her praises. And political oblivion awaits. The same goes for her patron, Sitiveni Rabuka, if he continues with the shameless nonsense on the front page of today’s Sunday Times that MPs deserve the pay rise.

The main photo is of the Prime Minister hard at work playing golf. The local version of Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Who on earth is advising these people? Because even the dumbest PR person could have told the prize boar presiding over this shit-show that a tin ear in politics always ends in defeat.

From the well known television journalist who has been one of the government’s PR advisors…

Fiji Transparency turns and picks up Cheerieann Wilson’s withering outburst…

Long time coalition supporter and Lynda Tabuya intimate, Shailendra Raju, also turns.

…and so does one time independent candidate Roshika Deo.

From the well known lawyer and social influencer…

Criticism of Sitiveni Rabuka’s speechwriter and trusted long-time advisor, Matt Wilson.

But Ms Piggy of Kadavu dances on. For now.

I never took Lynda Tabuya as a serious politician, she never had any true core principles and beliefs that she advocated, stood by and campaigned on. But always opportunist with bad political judgement.

What has she really achieved in her assigned Ministry? Get to work, pull people out of poverty perhaps then you will deserve a raise.

But the Minister of Poverty (now Social Protection) has chosen to ensure that her future is financially secured and she never ends up in poverty.

    Self serving b**ch.

Fiji may never have another general election if the current global trend of anticipating the imminent threat of world war 3 is to go by. These losers may well be the last politicians in that coup inspired parliament. They remind me of the Sri Lanka Rajapakshas who literally had truckloads of cash to run off with. The intelligence people in Berkley crescent have already given a briefing to the ruling junta about the new world order with respect to WW3. Russia,China and North Korea have had their final talks about their proposed triple entente. Never mind small unknowns like the idiot from kadavu in her bikinis. Prepare for a bigger global crisis where having money will be of no use. Food storage is advised.

Lipstick on a pig. Pigs can fly are all further appropriate comments this Sunday morning as Fijians work through their loaf of bread for breakfast, if at all even that. Tonight it might be a small can of mackerel fried with onion and flooded with a whole lot of water so it can get around the whole family.

Poverty and corrupt politicians are a reality in Fiji and successive governments have failed to address this.

I urge every citizen to take action on what you have seen with your own eyes about the interests of the politicians you voted in. Resolve to take matters in your own hands. Don’t depend on anyone. If you have land, plant away. If you have a job work hard on it. If you are unemployed apply, apply to jobs if they are being advertised. Take a street in town and ask every business if they have a vacancy. Pound away for weeks and months to get that job. If you are a student study hard late at night, wake up at 4am and study daily, you will get the results. If you have the means queue up at the embassy’s to get that work permit or PR. Look after your loved ones. Try, try and try. There is something positive around the corner for you.

It is clear you won’t get any help but you have yourself to make a difference starting today and tomorrow. I feel for everyone that is struggling to make a living and have been left alone to fend for themselves. The gutless thieves in suits and gowns steal from the poor to get themselves a much better life and and pay. 97% negative feedback on social media posts is a good representation of what’s in store for these thieves.

If it was in cartoon form, then the cartoonist would have wrote:

The country is in economic ruin and RABUKA’S justification is a vacuous assertion that its “ONLY” $8.1 million.

As if he expects a rousing applause for highlighting to the public this minuscule figure.

Digressing a bit Graham, the rot is so advanced that the guardians of our constitution seems neutered.
Independent statutory bodies no longer act in the interests of the people but for the elite few at the expense of many.

A clean up is required and sadly this is the only option. I’d rather live under the rule of a benevolent dictator than this charade of a coalition government.

Suddenly, all the exuberance at the change of government has evaporated. But for the life of me, how these same people thought that a crackpot from 37 years ago, a well known idiot who tallks to God, could bring change to their lives, I still do not understand. Even Mahendra Chaudhry was courting him during the elections campaigns – he was courting a man who removed him with violence and raped the whole country. How Baimaan and Sashi Kiran and others can “sleep with pigs with their snouts in the trough”, must indicate that they are all in it for themselves. The pictures after the vote tell the story.
But one thing is undeniable, the people of Fiji are a special kind of stupid – from the top, the chiefs, the politicians, to all the grog dopeys. They do not know they are a special kind of stupid. They are totally oblivious. And that is what makes Fiji and Fijians unique. There is no other place like it in the world.

I think you will find that the “special kind of stupid” stems from a vulagi religion imposed on the population by missionaries. Fijians are not ready for such a religion. Now they are confused whether they are Christians or Israelites. The whole thing is foreign so it is understandable that they cannot fully understand what their belief is or should be. I for one, think that this vulagi religion is completely out of place in a country like Fiji. Just imagine if you impose Islam or Hinduism on a population who had their own system of beliefs not long ago. Confusion would reign. And that is exactly what is happening in Fiji. They have a huge identity crisis. Everything is based on pretentions.
Having said that, a lot of Indo Fijians are a special kind of stupid as well. But that is another story for another day.

Too early for them to know it’s full meaning and how it works
        Best option
        Play rugby
        Go to church

    I agree Fight The Power.
Only when people are on the street outside the govt buildings peacefully letting it be known that this is not acceptable then they will get international media attention and it will be known to the world how stupid and corrupt this govt is. Nobody will believe the idiocy. Rabuka will prove to the world he has not changed at all and can’t be counted on in the world stage.
That will be embarrassing given all the shenanigans with the love rats. They should have been sacked and now there is an opportunity for greater exposure. This is going to look so bad. The lowlifes would not get far in any first world nation. Imagine apologizing to UK but then acting like this. Totally ruining Fiji once again. The image cannot get much lower, but they found a way.

That crackerhead Rabuka is worth one half of a piece of rat excrement and then he’d be being overpaid. Honestly not a single person in this country thinks he’s done a days work in his life. Unless of course a days work amounts to being well and truly duped from the moment he wakes up to the moment he puts away his golf trolley.

Put it this way – the man is quite literally unemployable. Nobody would pay him to collect shopping trolleys because he’d use them to barricade the supermarket and claim he owned it.

Wake up numbskulls we voted in someone we wouldn’t trust to operate a sasa broom – if none of us would give him a job cleaning chicken shit off his own bald head why on earth have we employed him to be PM of the country.

The reason the place is in the state it is – is because of Rabuka. So why in gods name is he the PM now?

    You are so right. Moody.
They don’t even pretend to look like they are working. it’s fine to lift weights, and do bikini selfies, fly around the world, and play golf in moderation if you are doing it as an outlet AFTER the very urgent and important business have been done and even then they had to know they were taking on a nation of problems, they must have known they’d be required to work way overtime. There is a need to buckle down right now given you have little kids with drug access and time is really of the essence to come up with ways to stop it and turn things around. It looks like business as usual!!
This is not overtime. Show us anything anyone has been done. Also I do not think a Kadavu Rugby Raffle should take place at all when there are so many critical things to be handling and it better be on the weekend.
Do these ministers have any requirements at all written anywhere of how much time is required? There is no way that’s happening in specially when all they do is try to save their own neck.. it can be proven they did not put the proper time and integrity or ethics into the job therefore a raise is certainly ridiculous. I have never witnessed such scum bags in my life. Worse part is even if you want to get out of Fiji, it’s not that easy. You need a visa to leave.
So sad when you are stuck in poverty and no way out. Further crushing the morale of the people. As a human I am deeply saddened at this display of selfish, narcissistic behavior that can only be mental illness or sheer evil.

The dumb deserve the dumb, absolutely.

Fiji however deserves better. If Bimaan is so much of a person of integrity why not walk out of parliament and the coalition and demand fresh snap elections. Dissolve the government. Lets see if he has the balls.

He won’t coz he too knows he won’t survive the vote of confidence among his own voters. He’s like the spineless worm that’s helping the enablers destroy our country.

F***ing Dissolve this parliament already. Fijians are fed up with this bullshit. By the end of yr 4, nothing will be left worth saving.

What else is in the wind, what other plans do they have to rape our nation?
They can’t even supply soap for patients in hospital, let alone toilet paper. They can however, line their bank balances with extra money to attend parliament, like it isn’t part of their job role, like they don’t have private transport and drivers, now they need incentives to be there.
That pretty much sums up the care factor for the population.

I mean just look at all the health facilities in Fiji, bright and shiny with lots of doctors and nurses. All medications always there. The elevators working. The beds have clean sheets.

The theaters working full time, the staff so happy that they always give you the best care. I mean the health ministry has never bern in better shape.

NGOs wasting thier time trying to fix whats not broken. This Minister for health deserves 500000 salary.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
