# THE ILLEGAL ACTING DPP’S BURNING TARAUSESE

Posted on January 25, 2024 2 Comments

John Rabuku is not only a racist, a drunk and incompetent. He is also a liar. Having allegedly praised the dismissed Assistant DPP, Elizabeth Rice, for her "commendable performance" and telling her she was being dismissed because she was "white", Rabuku tells the local media that she failed to meet performance standards in his office. This is … [Read more...] about # THE ILLEGAL ACTING DPP’S BURNING TARAUSESE

# ASERI AND LYNDA GO GLOBAL

Posted on January 25, 2024 8 Comments

The venerable Times of London does what the Fiji Times refuses to do - report the sex and drug scandal involving Aseri Radrodro and Lynda Tabuya that has enveloped the Coalition government but is being mostly ignored in the Fijian media. Nothing illustrates the hollowness of the so called new era of media freedom in Fiji more than the fact that … [Read more...] about # ASERI AND LYNDA GO GLOBAL

# DIGGING FOR NEWS IN THE CHICKEN COOPS

Posted on January 25, 2024 4 Comments

As if the chronic bias of the Fiji Times isn't bad enough, the national broadcaster, FBC, conspires against the readers of its news website by making them search for stories in an avalanche of commercials. Mahendra Chaudhry makes an important point about the Prime Minister's selective approach to the Constitution. Grubsheet said the same thing … [Read more...] about # DIGGING FOR NEWS IN THE CHICKEN COOPS

# THE WORLD’S MOST DELUDED MAN

Aseri Radrodro beat his former wife to within an inch of her life in a savage domestic violence attack. He cheated on his current wife by having "brutal sex" with Lynda Tabuya and then lied to the Prime Minister and the nation. He was sacked as Minister for Education for disobedience and insubordination after thumbing his nose at the Prime … [Read more...] about # THE WORLD’S MOST DELUDED MAN

# SHARVADA SHARMA WINS

Posted on January 24, 2024 6 Comments

Vindication for a man of honour and substance and a dedicated public servant. The former Solicitor General wins his High Court action declaring that his sacking by the previous government was unconstitutional. What happens now? If justice means anything, Sharvada Sharma should be re-instated and the current SG, Ropate Green Lomavatu, should be … [Read more...] about # SHARVADA SHARMA WINS

THE CRIME OF BEING WHITE

Posted on January 24, 2024 15 Comments

The Coalition is again being plunged into crisis as Grubsheet reveals that the ousted Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, Elizabeth Rice, is suing the state for unlawful dismissal on the extraordinary grounds of race. Rice claims that the illegally appointed DPP, John Rabuku, sacked her after telling her that while her performance was … [Read more...] about THE CRIME OF BEING WHITE

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
