Headline of the week was surely the Fiji Times front page revealing that the data Fijians chew up watching pornography is the equivalent of reading 100-million books.
We keep using the old term “only in Fiji” in all sorts of contexts these days. Yet only in Fiji would the Co-Chair of the government’s Task Force on Pornography not only be a porn aficionado but actually make it herself.
Grubsheet can show you only one of the series of leaked pornographic images that Lynda Tabuya sent to her fellow minister, Aseri Radrodro, to entice him to her Room 233 at the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne in August 2023 while Radrodro’s wife, Sainiana, slept in an adjacent room.
We were required to delete the rest – including the notorious “turtle tattoo” photo – on the orders of Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, to whom the Minister for Bonking and Weed complained that we didn’t have her permission to share them.
Yet as anyone who got to see them before the censors cracked their whip will confirm, they were hot. Sizzling hot. As the one image we are still allowed to publish after we were ordered to crop her décolletage more than amply suggests. Come to think of it, there was ample everything in the photos, in addition to those drug-f***ked bedroom eyes.
After telling a whole lot of lies that the images and accompanying texts were fake, a formal inquiry by the People’s Alliance eventually found they were real and Lynda Tabuya was pronounced guilty of “sex and illicit drug-taking” and of inflicting “severe and probably irreparable” damage on the PAP.
The official letter (see below) sent to her removing her as deputy leader of the Party – co-signed by the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka – still hasn’t been published by any mainstream media outlet in Fiji. It’s a clear sign of the powerful spell the Great Temptress has cast over our journalists, who may be “free” but not free of Lynda’s charms and unique ability to bewitch.
Of course, the Prime Minister himself is so enamoured with the Queen of Tarts that she remains in the cabinet as Minister for Woman and Children. And unsurprisingly, she is at the centre of a fresh scandal over lying about her marital status to conceal the earnings of her wealthy spouse, Rob Semaan, with whom she fled the US leaving behind debts of more than $F100-million.
Lynda Tabuya – the Porn Queen of Fiji – just “can’t keep her tits out of trouble”, as one of Grubsheet’s correspondents colourfully put it. But just imagine how much trouble she would have saved herself if instead of having a “brutal” bonking session with the love rat Aseri in Room 233, she had got room service and gone to bed with a good book.
Come to think of it, both things can be done on your back.

And the verdict of “guilty” passed on Lynda Tabuya by her own party, co-signed by the Prime Minister, which still hasn’t been published by a single mainstream media outlet in Fiji.
Yet another astonishing example of the corruption at the top and the corruption in the nation’s newsrooms.

Very appropriately has the “only in Fiji” phrase been used for years. And how much more appropriate is the term for what’s currently happening in this corrupt government.
It begs the question that there is obviously something that Tart Tabuya has on our men folk in government. Otherwise why has been allowed to continue in her role as a minister? Sodelpa has Rabuka by the short and curly so Aseri isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
A woman who fled USA leaving behind millions of dollars of debt, is now holding vital strings in this corrupt government. Her habibi has million dollar contracts in the country, but could possibly flee the country if the legal heat gets too much for him.
What is Rabuka doing? What has Tart Tabuya done to Rabuka? So much so that he cannot relieve her of her parliamentary positions? This is Hitchcock stuff, Fiji. Public life demands public scrutiny, so if they cannot handle the heat of scrutiny regarding their past misjudgments then it’s their problem. How can these guys sleep at night?
The rot is within Fijian society sadly. Fijians watching porn that is the equivalent of reading 100m books. I grew up in Fiji that had no television. I am absolutely shocked by how much Fijian society has degenerated using this statistic as a societal marker.
It is therefore unsurprising to see “role models” like Fijian feminista Lynda Lovelace Tubuya emerge.
They used to say about Fiji: Fiji, the way the world should be… I actually grew up in that Fiji from the 1970s until I migrated to Australia as a young boy in the early 1980’s.
I am glad I call myself an Australian.

On average her posts have less than 100 likes per post. Her PR spin person writes all sorts and lengthy posts. Even tries to give a new flavour with the new ostrich hairstyle look. Still nothing sells.
Same time last year she would rake in more than 3,000 likes per post.

The problem with people like Lynda- she got herself a law degree not to come and practice it ! Recently she admitted to a Women Lawyers Forum that she received the law degree to simply understand the law better. Hence, she has never really held a credible job anywhere where she should have attained the necessary experience and exposure to be able to lead irrespective in the public or the private sector.
Lynda is used to getting her way. I suspect Rob is well aware she sleeps around. Those tattoos on her body are very familiar to Rob so he will know they are not AI.
To allow his wife to continue her open relationship with others means he uses her as a pimp! The agreement is mutual and they use each other conveniently as a cover!
GD a normal person who’s an executive at least will have more than $200 cash at the bank on any given day! This is a Govt Minister submitting her declaration as the Deputy Party Leader for PAP- a requirement of law by SOE for all Party officials annually. In her declaration she states $200 cash at bank and yet source of income she states Rent for a house at Beach Street Suva Point, and her Ministerial salary! How come FICAC doesn’t see that as misrepresentation and thus a crime under the Electoral Act?
On the issue of porn and her habit of sleeping around not only with married men but with single younger and older men…the woman is mentally unstable and is a nymphomaniac! She will sleep with men and lure them with her body and antics knowing full well that at the age these Ministers or the men in the leadership category would be at now- their wives would be more settled, into church activities and looking after community projects etc so sex is not on their priority listing !

Look at the new tender awarded to PBS- one is by AFL and the other by ITaukei Affairs for the rebuilding of the GCC complex. Has Aseri questioned how those tenders were awarded to the spouse of a Minister and by Ministries and entities run under the Sodelpa Banner? ( Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation) and ITaukei Affairs!! Aseri can’t speak up now because he knows he committed the cardinal sin with Lynda. Even as Sodelpa Party Leader she now controls his balls or else! Who knows what she has on him that she will expose and take him down with her if he dares speak up or against Lynda.
The long and short of these is – this is the change we all voted for ! We were desperate to remove Khaiyum and Bainimarama that we didn’t think whom we would be replacing them with !
