# ROLEX RAMBO. KING OF THE ITAUKEI. CONQUEROR OF THE VULAGI

Posted on July 30, 2026 12 Comments

The secrecy accompanying the government’s plans for constitutional change constitutes a conspiracy against the people and a violation of the public’s right know.

It is simply not acceptable for the Prime Minister to continue to act like an emperor and dodge the obligation he has to tell us all precisely what changes he envisages.

The imperative of Sitiveni Rabuka coming clean has been brought into sharp focus by our article yesterday on reports that the government is pushing through a new constitution that would come into effect the day after a joint election and referendum in six month’s time.

What will be in that constitution? We simply don’t know. And for the minorities in particular, we need answers from the Prime Minister to the following:

  • Will there be an end to the common and equal citizenry provisions of the 2013 Constitution – an end to equal opportunity and equal votes of equal value?
  • Will there be an end to the common identity – everyone “Fijian” – and a re-introduction of the 1997 provision that only the iTaukei are Fijian and the rest of us are “Fiji Islanders”?
  • Will there be an end or any change to the secular state and provisions introduced in the new supreme law to assert the primacy of Christianity?

These are core issues of critical importance that will determine whether many non-indigenous people remain in Fiji as second class citizens or find new homes elsewhere in democracies that grant them equal status.

They must be answered.

And at the same time, we need a further answer to the following question for us to decide whether the nation is being led by a crook.

Prime Minister, where did you get your $150,000 gold Rolex?

The elite love to lord it over the ordinary and the ordinary love this. Where else will the chiefs and Rabuka get this treatment? Never mind that the ordinary laid out a feast for him and ate noodles with their children for dinner. This picture is downright hilarious.

And I could imagine Rabuka’s cabal giving the voters a very limited amount of time to read, ask questions and understand the constitution before voting on it. They are complicated documents that take many many months to draft and re-draft and get right.

Perhaps they even plan to circulate a “simplified” version that hides the sinister parts to the community prior.

The cabal will stop at nothing to get the upper hand any way they can.

Traitor Biman hoodwinked voters with false promises, thinking he could fool ordinary folk. This bastard’s political career is over and he will take NFP down with him in its worse defeat in history. This is because the NFP board lacks the balls to make tough decisions. NFP truly is a party of badhia or eunuchs with Biman as head eunuch, who was desperately hanging on Rabuka’s cocktails throughout his term, the coward.

Every second day Biman was shamelessly, sucking up to and praising Rabuka, only to get a solid kick in the arse from him in the end. As I said, a pathetic leader and a pathetic party.

Nobody is interested in Biman’s bullshit. He is the most hated politician in Fiji. As soon as Biman got into power he started serving elite interests. Tappoo and Fiji Water are just two examples. He appointed fellow bastard Richard Naidu Fiscal Review Committee chair to enable increase in VAT to 15%.

He also appointed Kirti Patel who has no qualifications or qualifications, only Biman knows about in private. This is the same bastard who used to criticize Khaiyum for improper and corrupt board appointments.

VAT increase turned out to be Biman’s second biggest political mistake. The first was thinking that he could fool voters with his lies of $5 lamb chops, not holding meetings in hotels and cutting down on overseas travel, plus taking a pay cut. All of these lies have come back to bite him on the arse.

It is well known by now that Baiman rewarded arsehole Richard’s law firm Munro Leys with a 7 year tax holiday for Fiji Water that was totally unwarranted, plus contracts for Aspen Hospital and FNPF. There would be other deals that we are not aware of. These actions damaged the coalition government as a whole and for PM Rabuka it’s a blessing in disguise that Biman is no longer in his cabinet. Biman is the most hated politician in Fiji because people can see right through his greed and self-serving nature.

Biman is finished and it’s comical to see how desperately he is trying to be relevant and hoping that he can get back into parliament.

    Keep hoping sucker.

This photo is ludicrous when this government is responsible for awarding a tax holiday to a foreign company that takes Fiji’s resources and makes billions.

Piss poor and Fijian people have been sold out.

Fiji won’t progress until this type of decision is reversed and a proper inquiry is established to explain how this happened.

Basking in glory, that is what this pic is all about. The dickhead loves to bask in glory. Has been the case since 1987 but the idiots in Fiji do not realise it still. The welfare of the population and economic progress is the last thing on his mind. But these idiot batis are not the only idiots in Fiji, the whole country is full of them. And proud. Just look at them proud to be idiots. That is Fiji and they do not even know it.

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
