For the second day running, the Fiji Sun has devoted its front page to “that photo” – the scandal of Siromi Turaga, John Rabuku and Barbara Malimali socialising with each other when they are investigating each other for alleged abuse of office. Or more specifically, John Rabuku – the Deputy DPP – is meant to be investigating Barbara Malimali for alleged abuse of office and Barbara Malimali – the FICAC Commissioner – is meant to be investigating Siromi Turaga – the Minister for Justice – for alleged abuse of office yet there they all are having a wow of a time together at the GPH. When suspended DPP Christopher Pryde wasn’t investigating Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum but has been waiting 18 months and counting to be able to clear his name.
It’s a sign of just how much this government has lost the plot that it pretends there isn’t a problem. Even when Inia Seruiratu, the Opposition leader, has said that it is a very big problem and so have Mahendra Chaudhry, Savenaca Narube and anyone else with half a brain who hasn’t been drinking the Kool-Aid along with the Kava.
Yet Sleepy Siti – the Prime Minister – blithely told the media yesterday: “Has there been a report made?” as if he needs someone to file a formal complaint before he understands that something very wrong has happened. And all the so-called “new broom” with no bristles – Attorney General Graham Leung – can say is: “It’s just a photo”.
Wow. Just a photo, eh, AG? Just a government happy snap. Nothing to see here, says Gra-Gra. What a pathetic excuse for a chief law officer of the state you’ve turned out to be.

The whole lot of them are like a bunch of drunken cowboys in a Wild West comic having to dance as the Fiji Sun fires bullets into the floor around them. (see below). Completely frigging useless. And it really seems as if they’ve been suddenly caught in the headlights – wide-eyed with surprise that a mainstream media outlet in Fiji would finally start doing its job of making them remotely accountable.
Incredibly, the Fiji Sun quotes the “manager in the Ministry for Justice, Collin Yabaki, threatening legal action” against the Sun for using the by now notorious photo and “making a big issue out of it”. Diddums, Col. Welcome to the world of a genuinely free media and not the sham we’ve had for the best part of two years. Yes, funnily enough, it’s the job of those pesky journalists to spoil your day on behalf of their readers. So pull your head in and suck it up.
And guess what, Fiji. You know how the Prime Minister said a few days back that the Cabinet would decide the members of the inquiry into the debacle at FICAC and lay out its terms of reference? Well now Sleepy Siti says he didn’t take it to cabinet after all yesterday. It is his prerogative to make the decisions, not the cabinet, and he will be giving the names and terms of reference to the President. So the Prime Minister chooses who will investigate his government. We can hardly wait.
The whole government is in complete disarray. “Problem? What Problem? Photo? What photo? Conflict of interest? What conflict of interest? Oh and by the way. Shut the f**k up and stop using government Facebook photos or we’ll sue you”.
The “new order” in Fiji. Is anyone else out there asking could we please have the old order back?

Oh, and talking of “that photo”. It’s not the only one. Much of the country is getting another eyeful as an image circulates far and wide purportedly of a certain minister who can’t seem to keep her clothes on.
I can’t publish the full image here or Australia’s eSafety Commissioner will again say that I don’t have her permission to share it and threaten me with a massive fine. But you get the drift.

Oh, and just in case you hadn’t realised, it’s God’s will that his perfectly-formed creation should again contest the 2026 election.
And she is so deluded that she is openly flagging in today’s Fiji Times that she plans to challenge the Prime Minister for the PAP leadership.
“Don’t judge me. This is the beauty of democracy”, says the Queen of Tarts, who intends to use her booty to get to the top. Or is it get on top?

The world’s first pin-up prime minister…

Running on a platform of “weed” and Jack Daniels for all.

Of course, the Fiji Times doesn’t challenge this fantasy, let alone mention the letter that it and every other media organisation has chosen not to publish that should have nailed Lynda Tabuya‘s pretensions once and for all.

See that Vijay Narayan? An “illicit drug scandal” involving Lynda Tabuya that had her stripped of the PAP deputy leadership.
Yet at no point in your lead story on CFL-Fiji Village this morning do you acknowledge the absolute travesty of the Minister posing as an anti-drugs campaigner.
You call yourself a straight-talker? No, mate. You’re a journalistic pygmy among the moral pygmies of the Coalition.
The so-called new era of “media freedom” in Fiji is a sham.

This is the Final Straw, wake up people and especially Fiji Indian Traitors et al , who voted for this government, you were told repeatedly that Rab is a racist thug, who hasn’t changed a bit past his 1987 Genocide- yes Genocide. Shame on you all, who decided to side with the Economics Slut and voted for the Snake, you all deserve him & this current disgraceful bung of buffoons and all this mess and shit!
My prayer- is there anyone left with Any Conscience in the RFMF ? if So – 🙏
If not NOW then WHEN ???
That photo should be exhibited. Just the expressions make this incredible art.
Definitely not just a photo and the Min of Justice photographer has a bright future (perhaps not within the Min of Justice tho)
We the people are so happy that nepotism and corruption are a daily fact of life and that tax holidays can be given to the richest while we relish water cuts as we can now bathe in potholes when it rains making more great photo opportunities for a nation let down so well by its elite.
Elite, what elite?
By their actions, they’re a bunch of incompetent egotistical racists.
The Minister for Children getting drunk and high.
Well, Fiji fu@kwiths and her Naita crew deserve her.
There is Tabuya.
Then there is Ali – holding on to her glory that is deteriorating fast.
And then there is sleepy Kiran. Just in her own tiny world still on the apology brigade.
Now we have Malimali – another self serving idiot.
What a mess! Women have led this government astray.
Well, at least someone in the Coalition has the balls to stand up to this disgrace of a Prime Minister, if it’s going to be Lynda to challenge him for the PAP leadership than so be it.
But what do you think about the duplicity in Filimoni Vosarogo, throws Lynda under the bus by removing her as deputy leader but corvorts and promotes that party lover, Barbara Malimali as FICAC boss.
Lynda has the right to feel aggrieved.
What’s with these Cakaudrove parliamentarians anyway, they’re turned out to be a bunch of reptiles of the guest order.
Seremaia Tuiteci was right when during the campaign he warned about the
“ Cakaudrove conspiracy.”
It successfully silenced MK, got rid of the party secretary, demoted Lynda, slapped down Aliki Bia and protects the father of treachery himself, Inoke Kubuabola as High Commissioner to NZ.
You mean another disgraced minister standing up to the disgraced PM?
She is seriously deluded if she thinks she can be party leader or PM.
Besides, she is not from Cakaudrove as per your logic.
Their facial expressions say it all!! They knew they should not be together speaking as they were and when the camera person went into take a picture they recoiled openly ! Tobo tale !
They just helped Chris Pryde’s legal argument !
In reference to Tabuya’s comment about leadership, God’s Will and God’s timing:
Obviously up in the heavens Rolex watch is missing because the timing is out and the favour was not decreed..Tabuya should have been PM after the last election or even the previous one! But the next election will do.
It’s an abomination how God’s will and timing is lobbied around to fool the naita and da people to get one’s own wishes.
There is a double standard. One rule applies to elite Itaukie and another to White, Indo-Fijian, etc., under a collision government (as none of their ideas are solid; they all collide and are jelly-like), where the PM is the most disoriented person.
Tabuya had put up an image of a naked teen in 2021.
Was that reported to the E- commission and the platform it was on?
And again recently the girl on Facebook.
She showed a severe lack of judgement on at least two occasions involving a minor.
When she was caught in Melbourne that’s a different story.
She is a public figure broke rules and who eroded the confidence of the people and broke the law and she’s whining about the photos that were leaked which she had on her phone.
People needed to see the proof because it was she who was lying to our PM and to the people!!
Please stop this train wreck who actually thinks she’s qualified to be PM. I wouldn’t trust her to take care of my cat for the weekend! Would any of you?
Bravo Jone Salusalu at Fiji Sun for having the guns to hold these lot accountable!
You are the real hero for doing what the so-called authorities fail to do.
Kudos to you.
Whoever turns up to Fiji Day celebrations where the chief guests are ministers and the PM who are under investgation are first class idiots.
Who in their right mind would turn up to listen to a dodgy minister(s). There are many of these dodgy ministers as we all know.
We will wait and see how many idiots are there in Fiji and how many are proud to come and listen to a dickhead.
Evidence of the Government in disarray. TLTB CEO blasts foreign investors and Investment Fiji. Would he be doing the same if Investment Fiji’s CEO was iTaukei? Unbelievable too that the Investment Fiji website has the TLTB CEO as one of their own Board members. Other iTaukei members are Tanya Waqanika and Josaia Sadole. If there was order and no disarray, then they and the other ministries will be working together in trying to attract and retain foreign investors.

The i taukei problem has always been, kere veivosoti. Nothing totally wrong with the concept however, it seriously undermines, deters, and defers, good common sense conversation. It becomes very difficult to confront our national leaders with this out dated and misleading attitude. Hardly any wonder the leaders just do whatever they want and then cry a few tears, a hug here and hug there and it’s all set again. Absolutely stupid. We get the government we deserve with this irrational approach.
Siromi Turaga, John Rabuku and Barbara Malimali socialising with each other when they are investigating each other for alleged abuse of office is hilarious.
Pryde spoke to ASK at a public event and got suspended, name dragged through the mud and had his salary stopped as well.
The DPP should be suspending Rabuku – the AG can direct it be done
Malimali should be suspended – the JSC can direct this if instructed by the President.
Turaga should be suspended – Rabuka can authorise this as he is the PM and can do this.
But, none of this will happen given they’re all busy looting the coffers, having sordid drug fuelled orgies and busy doing anything and everything contrary to the law.
“It is just a photo” – poor AG seems to be out of his depth or he is just incompetent. We now should not have any doubts about that. Having served as a Solicitor General or whatever in a powerhouse Mickey Mouse country such as the Cook Islands, what else does one expect. The others have served in other powerhouse Mickey Mouse countries such as Nauru, Solomon Islands and Niue and the like.
As for the PM “it is only $8million” referring to their huge pay increase on 1 Aug, well it is $8 million per year hereafter. So it is not a one off.
But all the idiots in Fiji are oblivious.
Everyday this guy reaches a new place and that is at another length down the bottom of the barrel or hole.
Today is another of those days.
Just listened to his gibberish full of nonsense and more lies statement about the COC.
Olei, Fiji’s Biden. Resign already you fool.
GD
This is a country of many lucks.
Just look at Malimali, Tabuya, Ali, Kiran, Tikoisuva as examples.
Men need to play catch up.
The ball sits in the courts of these women now.
Our national role models. lol.
Guaranteed for one nomination: Our national shameless women.
“This (The) picture is worth more than a thousand words”.
Bula GD
Is that an old new image of the bonking Queen? If so where is it allegedly taken and by whom? Is it part of the minister of woman basher affairs??
Yes, it is supposedly new. Grubsheet is informed that it was a selfie taken by LT on a recent visit to the US, though there is naturally no way for me to verify this.
