But no. We have a fresh scandal in the form of a new pornographic video from Lynda Tabuya – the Co-Chair of the government’s Taskforce on Pornography and Minister for Bonking and Weed.
I am prevented by Australia’s eSafety laws from showing you the complete video that is circulating on social media of Lynda Tabuya cavorting in front of a camera with “bush” and butt in full view, dancing like some trashy pole dancer for everyone to see. But believe me it is gruesomely graphic. And it is real. Because there are those turtle tattoos that established the veracity of the pornographic images that she sent to her lover, Aseri Radrodro, from Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne in August 2023.
The Prime Minister has now sent a letter to his Minister for Bonking and Weed, – aka the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection – demanding an explanation. But hey PM. Just sack the woman. Because she is not only a disgrace to your government but she has again highlighted your complete lack of judgment in not getting rid of her when you had the chance.
I am still so angry about the confirmation of Salesi Temo as substantive Chief Justice that I really don’t give a toss about Lynda Tabuya and her latest antics. But it is yet another nail in the coffin of the credibility of a government that is completely out of control.
Why on earth would Sitiveni Rabuka have made Lynda Tabuya Co-Chair – with the pathetic Manoa Kamikamica – of the government’s fight against pornography when she makes the stuff herself?
I am trying as faithfully as I can to fill myself with the Holy Spirit as Christmas approaches in the coming hours. But like many Fijians, all I am capable of is revulsion at the conduct of these clowns, who are an affront to Christian values and are storm troopers of the devil.

Again, a reminder of the letter the Prime Minister sent to Lynda Tabuya removing her as deputy leader of the People’s Alliance that has never been published by a single mainstream media organisation in Fiji.
He kept her on as Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection. Now he has no choice but to sack her. And the Fijian media should hang their heads in shame.
In my opinion, the minister is the most qualified and the ideal person to lead the Taskforce on Pornography as she has first hand experience. What is more, she has first hand experience because she has obviously bonked numerous guys around the world. So all this makes her the ideal person for the job. Even if the PM sacks her, she should be able to retain the Taskforce on Pornography job and she could then be given a diplomatic posting as a reward for her being a role model for her daughters and to the aspiring young girls in Fiji.
The government has a history of appointing truly qualified people to match their roles. The CJ’s appointment today is the best example of their appointments.
The people of Fiji could not be so blessed that they have the most qualified people in the roles they serve in.
Those vulagis who keep complaining will never understand the iTaukei culture.
Because they will all go to church tomorrow to praise the Lord.

What some of our learned people do not seem to understand is that once an individual is in public office, the scrutiny level increases to a point where it’s very difficult for an area of one’s life to remain private. Having said this, it simply means that Tabuya, who is on the public purse, needs to be vigilant and very aware of her responsibilities.
