For the first time today, a Fijian mainstream media outlet – the Fiji Sun – makes reference to something that Grubsheet has long reported – the “drug-fuelled sex encounter” between Lynda Tabuya and Aseri Radrodro in Room 233 of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne last August. (See previous posting)
Despite a People’s Alliance disciplinary committee finding that Lynda Tabuya lied when she said the encounter didn’t happen and the PAP stripped her of the deputy leadership of the Party, the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, retained her as Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection. It is a scandal that continues to this day and was cited by the Fiji Sun editorial as one of the reasons Rabuka is “no longer fit to run the nation”.
The Minister for Bonking and Weed was also made Chair of the Special Committee on Emoluments that has increased parliamentary salaries and benefits to an obscene level, has set the worst possible example to the nation and will fuel the inflation that robs ordinary people of the value of their meagre earnings when it comes to feeding their families. The increases have already cost 17 FijiFirst MPs their jobs and have destroyed the reputations of the People’s Alliance and SODELPA, which is headed by Lynda Tabuya’s “brutal” sex partner, Aseri Radrodro.
Lynda Tabuya is a multi-millionaire whose husband, Rob Semaan, is co-owner of Fiji’s largest construction company, Pacific Building Solutions, which among other things, has the contract to rebuild the Great Council of Chiefs complex at Nasese. The couple are notorious in the United States for having racked up more than $F100-million in unpaid debts through the collapse of their Go Fig fat-reduction company. But it hasn’t prevented them from enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Fiji, which includes luxury vehicles and Lynda Tabuya’s famous eye-catching wardrobe.
In 2021, Tabuya made an address to the parliament slamming the FijiFirst government for its fat-cat salaries and making a virtue of her “giving back” her parliamentary salary to the poor. It’s a shame she didn’t give back the millions she owed to ordinary Americans who invested in her US company, who not so much shed fat as lost their life savings. (see below)
Here’s the clip of what the Queen of Tarts said three years ago that brands her – like Manoa Kamikamica and Filimoni Vosarogo – a first class hypocrite as well as an adulteress, drug taker and liar. Click on the link below and be amazed at this woman’s total absence of shame and basic decency.

And having seen that astonishing performance, now read the full horror of what Lynda Tabuya and her fellow committee members have done to feather their own nests and the cushy nests of every MP.
It is the entire contents of the Government Gazette that passed the increases in salary and benefits into law yesterday in direct contravention of the public assurances by the Prime Minister that they weren’t yet law and could be altered. In fact they have been rushed through the parliament at record speed and are already on the statute books. And to say otherwise is a monstrous lie.
This is going to be Lynda Tabuya’s epitaph. She has got away with extramarital sex and drug-taking on an official government visit overseas. She has got away with lying to the Prime Minister and a PAP disciplinary committee and, in turn, misleading the Fijian people. She has triggered a massive schism in the Coalition by accusing Biman Prasad of lying when she is the pot calling the kettle black.
She remains Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection when she is morally unfit to hold the position. But she is not going to survive the ignominy of being the lipstick-wearing pig who has enriched undeserving Fijian MPs at the expense of ordinary taxpayers and has shown two fingers to the mass of ordinary Fijians who really deserve social protection – the one third of the nation living in poverty.
Read and be amazed. And disgusted.
Lynda Tabuya’s colourful financial history in the US, for those who haven’t already seen it.
Chairwoman - Council of Vulagi Chiefs says
Fiji Sun has all the arguments here for a weekend special edition on minister of sex and drugs CV. Information such as this needs multiple sources to reach the voters.
I understand she has affected 3 parties destruction already and on the pathway to destroying the PAP, Coalition government, and opposition parties all at the same time.
Only me says
Meanwhile the PM is getting wet again at Albert Park for the Ratu Sukuna Day Celebrations.
All a show. says
How Lynda is able to contest a national election is worrying.
What is worse is how she has all these men around her pinky finger. That includes the PM. He has something special on or for her.
Her votership appeal is less than 5% now, even she is lucky.
The PM needs to let this woman go. She is sinking his ship and it is not a good feel for Fiji.
Women are generally not happy with her.
She has no appeal (never did) and it is disgusting to see her anywhere.
Time to be kicked out and sent to Zumba.
Operation cleanup says
She knew exactly what she was doing on that Friday trying to rush through the vote. She knew the process but misled people.
She is dodgy as and no surprises there.
The Parliamentary bit$h.
Succession plan says
My view is that if she can raise the salaries of the pollies in 5 minutes by a massive amount, just imagine what she can do for the rest of the struggling people of the country!
I reckon she should not only be made the A-G but the Minister of Finance as well. The PM is holding her back. She can do wonders and we all should let her.
The PM should be thinking about the succession plan. No better person than to have a slut as the first woman PM. The PM knows.
Just give her 24 hours says
That is correct, as Minister for Poverty Alleviation she has very quickly taken all the politicians out of poverty very fast – in 5 minutes as you say. Imagine what she could do in 24 hours if she were made Prime Minister! There will be no need to talk about being like Singapore anymore.
It's a no brainer says
It’s no wonder her fat reduction caper went bust. Her bikini clad bod is certainly no advertisement.
Chairwoman - Council of Vulagi Chiefs says
According to Dr Gauchi, The problem with those injections were, instead of reacting with the fat to melt it into stored energy in the muscle tissue. It turned the fat into permanent lard.
The users a few walking around in suva have the lard to show for their addiction to such drugs.
I See Your True Colors! says
She’s a moron …for a lawyer she lacks depth and content. Entire coalition needs to go – people of Fiji deserve better coz these folks have proven that you are nothing but bunch of sel-serving ba$&@%ds!
Making Fiji Great Again says
” woman’s total absence of shame and basic decency.” Very well said about weed user.
On another note the Speaker, a high chief only got 652 votes. His own son got more than four times this number. Rejected by the people, he gets appointed to be a Speaker based on his personal relationship with Rabuka. Very much a part time job. Now salary of $220,000, furnished house, official car with driver and all other benefits. The guy is over 70 and should live off his pension !! This is obscene.
Which way Fiji? says
Thank you Graham for keeping on these guys’ case. Fiji deserves better.
An incompetent coalition yes, but are the Opposition any better? What, as the alternative government, have they offered in the past 18 months?
All thing considered, your recommendation for it to be put back to the people is the right one. Minority coalition governments are invariably problematic and this one has run its course.
Let the prospective parties and their candidates come up with good plans and put it to the people to decide.

Many thanks for this, Nigel. I will highlight in a separate article. Much appreciated.
