The Coalition government’s resident trollop – the Minister for Bonking and Weed – isn’t happy with the PAP disciplinary committee that has pronounced her guilty of her “brutal” sexual encounter last August with her fellow minister, Aseri Radrodro, in Room 233 of Melbourne’s Windsor Hotel.
Lawyers have reportedly been consulted and the Great Temptress has taken to posting veiled threats on Facebook in her desperate attempt to ward off being sacked as Minister for Women and Children after the People’s Alliance stripped her of the position of Deputy leader of the Party.

Her removal is definitive proof of what Grubsheet was the first to report in the early hours of Tuesday morning – that the PAP’s disciplinary committee found the allegations against the Minister proven – the sex, the weed, the lies, everything. Why hasn’t she yet been stripped of her ministry? Party sources say that is the Prime Minister’s call. And Madam Minister is fighting like an alley cat to prevent that from happening.
There is talk of court action against the disciplinary committee and its members. But the problem with resorting to the courts is the little matter of disclosure. At some stage of the proceedings, every bit of documentation relating to the case is going to have to be produced. And that includes a “smoking gun” document in this affair that is yet to surface that proves once and for all the truth of what happened in Room 233.
Is the Prime Minister going to act decisively to prevent this sordid little pantomime from consuming him and his government like a raging inferno? We will soon find out. He has precisely five days to do so before he has to face the blowtorch of the opposition in the parliament next week.
Why would Sitiveni Rabuka wait until he gets back from Australia later in the week to make a decision on Lynda Tabuya’s future? And in the meantime “leave the handling of the matter” to Manoa Kamikamica? ( see today’s Fiji Times story below) As a political rival of Tabuya’s, we have a pretty fair idea what Manoa Kamikamica’s attitude is likely to be. Is this a sign that her dismissal is a foregone conclusion?
You just have to read the comments sections of Grubsheet to appreciate the depth of feeling on the part of a great many Fijians that this sex and drug scandal cannot be allowed to continue to be a distraction for a government facing a great many other challenges – the war on drugs, the crisis in education and health, the breakdown of law and order and the mass exodus of Fijians who have given up on their homeland and whose departures threaten the economy.
Given that the disciplinary committee delegated the task of assessing the case against Lynda Tabuya has come down so decisively against her, Sitiveni Rabuka has no choice but to remove her. With every hour she remains as a minister, the strength is being sucked out of the government. And only Tabuya and her most fevered supporters think that a drunken, stoned, semi-naked hussy tempting a fellow MP to have sex with her metres from where his wife was sleeping can remain as Minister for Women and Children.
You just have to look at the faces of those who attended the formal opening of parliament on Monday to see that even before the disciplinary committee’s findings became more widely known as the day progressed, the customary smiles had vanished and there was a palpable sense of gloom. Have we really come to this?
Take a look at this gallery of misery that is about to get much worse. Because many Fijians who voted for the Coalition 15 months ago have had enough of the chasm between the promises and what has been delivered. And the nation’s leaders and elected representatives know it.

POSTSCRIPT: Good old Shamima Ali. The women’s rights campaigner who remained silent when a domestic violence abuser in the form of Aseri Radrodro was made minister for education and talks about the plight of Palestinian women but not Israeli women killed by Hamas has leapt to the defence of the Great Temptress. Shamima says she is disappointed that Lynda Tabuya has lost her position as deputy leader.
Whoopie doo. What about expressing disappointment that the Minister for Women has debased her cabinet position, become the worst possible role model for young women and made a victim, among others, of Sainiana Radrodro and her family?
Shamima Ali’s selective indignation is disgraceful.

Now that #Grubsheet’s (and #FijiLeaks’) posts have been officially proven correct (there was no doubt from the beginning), will #Grubsheet make a return to social media? Please come back to FB (and X) as a final slap on some people’s faces.
Thank you but my Facebook ban is permanent. Even though I had heavily censored the images of Lynda Tabuya – including the infamous turtle tattoos – it was determined that I had contravened Facebook’s community standards. Them’s the breaks.
Going by the Fiji Government’s FB page, it looks like the PM is going to brave it out. What a shame. Posted this evening complete with beatific photos:
HON. LYNDA TABUYA HANDS OVER KITCHEN ITEMS TO NABULINI WOMEN’S CLUB
The Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Lynda Tabuya today visited the Nabulini Women’s Club in Wainibuka to hand over kitchen items which the club had requested for their village community hall.
Men and women from the five villages in the Tikina of Nailega namely Nailega village, Manu, Naibita, Wailevu and Nalidi all gathered at the village hall in Nabulini to witness the handing over of kitchen items to the Nabulini Women’s Club and also meet with Hon. Tabuya.
In her handing over address, Hon. Tabuya spoke about the need to put an end to gender based violence and reiterated that women need to be supported and respected in our village communities. The Minister for Women also shared that Fiji has one of the highest rates of gender-based violence in the world whereby 2 out of every 3 women had experience some form of violence in their lifetime.
She reiterated the call for men to refrain from resorting to violence as a means to resolve issues in our iTaukei settings stating that it is time for everyone to come together to bring about change in the way we treat our women.
“I plead with you our men, please respect your wives, support them in their roles in the home for the betterment of your families.”
Hon. Tabuya also conducted a talanoa session with the women, where discussions focused on corporal punishment and violence against children, women’s economic empowerment initiatives and village development projects.

Can Rabuka assure that she is not going to have an extramarital affair with someone in the village? I am not having my man next to that woman. She suits the men in Parliament. They get extras from her.
How stupid can people be ?
How stupid can lawyers be ?
The team Captain, Coach drops you, you are out,
and no lawyer in the world can save you !
There does not even have to be an excuse or reason, just don’t like you,
simple, goodbye, moce.
Why is this taking longer than ten minutes ?
Who gave her the job in the first place ?
God !?
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
The Lord works in mysterious ways
She needs to be removed from Parliament .
God is ok with this as he has a replacement waiting eagerly to join the team.
She has no one to blame but herself.
She is her worst enemy within herself.
Ran scams in USA and thinks she can fool all Fijians too.
Go get help Lynda.
Sure as hell she will bring Rabuka to his knees if he doesn’t remove her now.
Shamima is unhappy.
The nerve on this woman to tell other women that drugs, child abuse, illegitimate sex (Shamima should know) is fine by her standards.
Shamima is another accessory that Fiji needs to let go.
I wonder how her work and funds are evaluated by funders! She is an epitome of misery and nonethical standards.
She can keep Lynda in her NGO.
We don’t need her.
Taxpayers don’t need their money spent on a druggie.

Tevita Ralulu was married when Shamima started seeing him. Ring a bell? The former police officer? Now that’s the benchmark Shamima is using!
There you go.
The home wreckers and wannabe angels of Fiji.
Prostitutes of feminists NGOs and the Cabinet.
This is all we have left to showcase on who we are as women to the world.
Countries are celebrating International Women’s Day whole of this week. Fiji has taken this all to a new height. We are celebrating women in power who abuse their office, marriage, and society. That’s our shameful stays today. Take a bow Shamima and Tabuya.
Boycott all corporate and other sector organisation events that have these two women and Radrodro attend. They need to learn that our society holds fast to its values. All sectors take note now.
Mr Davis
Appreciate your enlightenment regarding matters affecting Fiji. I have sort of looking forward to searching my email for your message. As for the contents, I have no comments but I like what you write. Interesting and interesting ????????????????
Lynda, there is no enemy within. These people don’t hate you. They hate what you did.You let yourself down before any of them were disappointed by your poor judgement.
Now you have exacerbated their poor opinion by brazenly continuing in your intransigence.
If as a mother of daughters you value decency and honor and aspire to a stellar example to these young women, do the honorable thing. We’re good with failure. We dont applaud it,neither do we celebrate it.But it is the trait above all else we understand and are intimately familiar with the most.
You are not a failure. That was an event. You are a person. You have incredible inestimable value. But you have forfeited your place in leadership because of these gross moral shortcomings.
Do yourself a favor and resign your appointment.I can’t speak to if you should issue a public apology. No one takes those seriously anyway.
Do it now before the weight of the ire of the electorate become too great and you are subject to the kind of unpleasant public heckler humiliations Fijians are notorious for.
Your family doesn’t deserve that.Think of them please.
People are fed up with your lies and twisted games.Enough already.
How much is Shamima getting paid to speak up for her? Or is she sleeping with her too? It seems very personal and not based on fact. She has just revealed how far she will go for self interest as well. I would venture to say that the Temptress may have tempted her as well. Because this did not add up, no rational thinking person would think LT should remain. It’s all about whatever she is getting out of it.
Of course the papers don’t actually interview her, or ask any questions why it is unfair.
What a disgusting individual with no integrity. She does not represent women. She is the one setting women back in fact. There are women out there who can do a better job. Give the job to a better candidate.
If Shamima knows things about the men, making this unfair, she should speak up now!!! Expose them all. If she is not going to, then in fact she is setting women back.
When it all comes to light, everyone will be out anyway.
The so called ‘womens movement’ have become toothless tigers. Fiji needs a brand new generation of activitists and lobbyists who are ethical and selfless (mmmm does this category of people even exist in todays world)?
Nothing will be done to her as there is too much vakavanua in this coalition government.
Majority of the electorate don’t care as it will be a topic around grog sessions where people will have a good laugh and that’s it. Thats the kaiviti way.
Expose Shamima!!!
What a great display of acting Shamima. Not!!
This video is going to make you look like a fool Indefinitely. Have you had a chance to watch yourself?
A sad day for women? Ha Why don’t you take a poll of women and ask them what they really think? You made our day sad seeing how low you’ll go. Do not speak for women. You will never speak for women.
Shamima, you should consider acting for a real job. Do you seriously think and feel Lynda has been representing the common women and children, if at all in her so far short-lived political career? She’s Ms. Designer and brands and the high life …she dosen’t identify with common folk and is out of touch from reality.
When Lynda asked Indo Fijian women to provide proof that they were victimised in 1987 coup, where were you then?
You’re a self and self-centred woman who only speaks for and aligns with those who can favour you. You should resign.
I will not support/ invest in a country that cannot uphold the law, period.
Lynda should hang her head in shame. So should Radrodro and Shamima.
No one has devalued women and their progress like these 3.
Women are not your object go glorify. Don’t tell us anything about empowering women or about violence against women. None of you have the right to. Low life snakes.
Don’t make a mockery of us, Shamima. You are an absolute joke yourself. With that kind of justification you are not fit to lead an organization that supports women’s wellbeing. We want all our taxpayer funds and donor funds to stop going to any NGO that tries to justify wrong doings or harm. Where is the credibility of Shamima and her clowns!
Look across all these feminist and women’s NGOs in Fiji. You will see the same people, same links to who is politically motivated, and how the donor funding flows between the same lot in millions. They don’t care about women’s wellbeing. Their programmes are the bare minimum and the attendees are the same people. It is a tick box exercise. They evaluate the success of their own too. No form of external checks on how well they perform. The same lot who should about harm on women rightly so also harm women.
I am ashamed to be called a woman of Fiji. You women have stripped us of our dignity so badly. And you still want to act shocked. Go and interview a woman in the village. She will give you a better moral opinion on what this means for women and girls because there is not an ounce of care and righteous left in Shamima and Lynda.
We are also tired of this Prime Minister. He is well known for his past extra marital affairs. This whole ship is yuck. I wont allow my daughters to shake hands or go near any of these leaders. They have failed us.
Call for a snap election Fiji.
I agree ! Let’s also ask for the current Speaker of Parliament to face scrutiny for sleeping with an under age student a few years ago where Rt Naiqama fathered a child . The school girl at the time she got pregnant to Rt Naiqama is the child of his caretakers ! Talk about abuse !
Such crimes must also be investigated. The previous government failed to do it . Now let’s also move to investigate Rt Naiqama and hold him accountable ! Lynda , Naiqama and others in current Coalition government are same !
Whilst we have started with investigations…. let’s do it all !!
Shamima is the sidekick for all bitches, lasa i tubas, and hoes of this cabinet and their politically affiliated friends. Just look at who sits in the NGOs governance boards. There is a pattern of those who abuse women and act like samaritans. Home wreckers and abusers. White washed typical lot going around and using their feminist hats to hide and make money.
This is our Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre care. Exposed.
Where was Shamima when Communications Fiji Ltd staff were abusing women and girls nonstop?
Where was Shamima when Radrodro sat on a high pedestal despite violence on a woman?
Where was Shamima when Lynda used the video of the abused child to gain fame recently?
Where was Shamima when Lynda gaslighted the victims of the 1987 coup?
Nowhere to be seen!
Selective in what she speaks about because she is them!
Just shut up Shamima.
As respectful women, we have had enough of you.
This cheapo of a tin pot politician is a legend in her own mind.. hahaha..hihihi
It’s more like, “Look at me, see what stolen money can do!!”
Resign already!
“Don’t play the vanua card..” Tabuya.
https://fb.watch/qDcg6vKBqy/?mibextid=Nif5oz
Yes, we know.
Someone show her the door because she cannot judge for herself that she is wrong.
Mrs Lynda Tabuya Semaan.
Your expulsion as one of the Deputy Leaders of the PAP speaks volumes for your character and professional integrity.
You’re NOT FIT to be a Cabinet Minister in Fiji’s parliament – the highest law making body of the land.
You’re NOT FIT to represent Fijian women and speak on women issues.
You’re NOT FIT to be a role model for our daughters, wives, sisters and mothers.
You’re NOT FIT to be a role model for our children.
You’re NOT FIT for any role in our parliament.
You smoke weed as part of your lifestyle. Worse, used it during a government funded trip while engaging in immoral sex with another Fijian Minister a few doors away where his wife slept.
You’re setting a very, very dangerous precedent for our country.
Resign.
You brought this fate on yourself. Don’t blame anyone else. Have some self respect, Tabuya!
Or be sacked if you choose to be stubborn and keep holding on to the flimsy straws of whatever’s left of your political career.
Get the hint. They don’t want you.
We don’t deserve someone like you that we once looked up to. You’ve disappointed us.
Let it go.
Resign Tabuya and Shamima.
So, it was “THE ENEMY WITHIN” that forced open her legs to ASERI.
So much hubris.
Mr Hon PM Rabuka,
Please help us.
The good honest people of Fiji are waiting and counting on you to do the only right thing. Please show us that you care about integrity and ethics and are listening to us.
You can stop this charade with a snap of your finger.
Fiji is losing investments quickly as people around the globe are watching this mess.
So please weigh that out compared to whatever she has to offer.
Do you want this to be your legacy? What do you want to be remembered for saving this woman or the country?!. Life is short, act swiftly. We only have today.
Vinaka
“Rabuka – ethics – integrity ”
3 words that doesn’t go together.
We are where we are because of Rabuka. The fish rots from its head.
He might seem to be listening but he doesn’t care.
He takes the crown for most indecisive and useless prime Minister of Fiji.
Investments – yes, few of my friends decided to pick Bali over Fiji. Cancelled their planned wedding trip as they don’t feel safe going to Fiji with such a political mess in place. Can’t blame them, can we!
Has the PAP disciplinary committee explicitly recommended to the Party Leader (PM)for her to be sacked. If not that’s what it should do.
They may not have – however, does he really need such explicit instructions to do the right thing?
