The two members of the cabinet vying for the number “233” at the next election.
They have become the Coalition’s weakest links – the domestic violence abuser who is Minister for Education and his drug-taking illicit sex partner who is Minister for Women and Children.
The worst possible role models for the nation’s young people. When caught up in an education system of plummeting standards and tempted by drugs, they clearly deserve politicians of the highest calibre and integrity to look up to. Alas.
The Coalition promised better standards of conduct in government but this is what we got. And that betrayal – along with the many others – will be punished as soon as Fijian voters get the chance.
Tick, tick, tick.
Yes, the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection in the Coalition government. Found guilty of a booze and drug-fuelled “brutal” sex encounter with Aseri Radrodro and stripped of the deputy leadership of the People’s Alliance. But kept in place in the cabinet by a Prime Minister governed more by his boci than his brain.
Fijian politics Austin Powers style.
“Do I, do I?”
Tinai says
He can go kiss a donkey then as they wear lipstick too…..
Tick, tick,tick…………..
Sunny Side says
The Minister for Women and Children was seen cheering for her beloved school on television in the Coca Cola Games. Never have I seen a Minister in recent memory acting in such a way.
When you’re given an office of power as the Minister, there shouldn’t be any bias for any school or group as you occupy that office for all Fijians.
She’s literally gone bonkers and it’s a good lesson for her and old scholars like her when they were given a life lesson by the historic winners in the girls division of humility, hard work and perseverance.
Ajai Kumar says
Yes you are 100% about the pigs. Similarly, if you garland a monkey, dont expect it to behave anything but a monkey.
Suffer the children. says
His blatant arrogance gives me chills! Seeing his face is enough to put me off my breakfast.
Imagine our school Principals sitting through that and knowing he is the worst example for the children of Fiji!
What about the failing education system you lasa i tuba THUG?
Our children in classes of 40 plus students with 1 teacher!
In an urban Nadi school, students need to take their own toilet paper and drinking water.
I was also appalled to see a TV that the class 1 teacher uses to play the animated series, Cocomelon!
We send our children to school to interact, to learn, read and write, NOT to watch TV.
But who gives a shit when it’s all about power politics and damn the rest!
See you and all the other PIGS in HELL!
King Charles vs Aseri says
After demanding that Fiji-indian during the 1987 coup era give her Police report as evidence of their violence as facts, Lynda went on another shameful rampage within weeks last year and just before her Melbourne rendezvous.
She said, “this is my work. When the whole world blames Camilla including that she killed Diana, but no one, NO ONE, blames the man Charles. That’s patriarchy and that’s the root cause of gender equality and discrimination. End it.”
Was Lynda on crack when she wrote the above statement?
Will she call herself and her brutal lover boy out on patriarchal equality and discrimination?
She should.
Stupidly she mentions equality than inequality.
Thats Lynda.
Fiji’s most disgusting women Minister in history.
And now she stands around empowering women. These women deserve her as they have no sense of morals left. Typical God will forgive you lot. We wonder why the violence is high. It is simply because we allow women to carry on like nothing has happened.
Sekop says
Who is he kidding? He looks ridiculous!
Sad Observer Scared for Fiji says
The majority of female MPs worldwide would not want their bikini pics being public. They want to be taken seriously as intelligent, insightful leaders. LT is quite happy with the objectification of herself and women, and the sad male dominated island of Fiji has set the scene for her sexuality to get her into power, and is also what will ultimately destroy her career.
Straight face says
Just imagine everyone around the Cabinet meeting with a straight face.
Sashi Kiran, Baimaan, Blinky Bill, Lenora and others. All in the same room as these two. All pretending. But most importantly all protecting their jobs and their pay for as long as they can. They will have a prayer I am sure. They will maintain the highest standards with a straight face
The people of Fiji are truly blessed.
Stupid Bloody Fijians says
Our PM is a master tactician, with his military background and his coup experience.
He has restored these two indispensible bonking and weed smoking ministers without any consequences. He has even overruled the disciplinary committee findings. Makes me wonder why have a disciplinary committee in the first place. Not sure if the idiots in Fiji have wondered that.
We all know that the PM has been setting very”high standards” since 1987. That is why he has been ‘elected’ to continue setting these high standards today, some 37 years later. I cannot pinpoint exactly what has been achieved in those 37 years but after all the patience and praying and fasting, there is hope that things are about to change. We all have to be just a little more patient and keep praying. The guy is just on the verge of doing something very big, just be a little bit more patience, everyone. No need to march on the streets just yet as we are the ones who voted for him. We will wait a little longer so that God can talk to him and give him some divine inspiration. Just pray harder everyone.
Vinny says
How did you know, may be the women minister is to report once a week to his office to polish some old trophies in exchange for her ministry seat.????
Ashamed says
It’s ironic this moron is all smiles whilst his wife Sainiana suffers humiliation the proportions only someone like the Queen Slut Lynda Tabuya can dish out ! Now Lynda uses a fake name Harley Quinn on Facebook to throw mud against Sainiana.
It’s appalling and it seems the mighty Lynda is disturbed that at the recent Sodelpa AGM it was announced Sainiana is also standing for the next General Elections.
Both Aseri and Lynda should actually resign from politics ! Sainiana would be a better fit. Knows how to handle her shit and keep it together . At least that’s what I think in the face of extreme humiliation!
Fiji Watcher says
Both he and his sidekick Lynda look and sound ridiculous.
The amount of self-praise is amazing, but there again the whole Government is in the same mode. The Government Facebook page has never been busier announcing meeting after meeting, visit after visit and the travel of its Ministers to the fore corners of the world.
Is any of this improving the lives of Fijians? Are the facilities and services improving? NO!
But it looks good to them, the Government! Oh, and where is the PM? He has gone off on an official visit to the United Kingdom!
My dog has more sense. says
Disgusting yellow bikini is the new sexualised way to buy power and fame. Very uneducated style. This is when we say degrees don’t buy discipline and brains. She is an example of exactly that.
Way to go Fiji.
Never have I ever seen a Minister on such display. Disgusting.
Carpark Morals says
Don’t be deceived so easily by this other snake, Sainiana. She’s the wanna be strategist behind Mr. Brutal. She’s just as bad or worse than Mrs Brutal, her karua.
Give them all a taste of power, and it will go straight to their big coconut heads.
Just look at the I-came-from-poverty BS – LT. How can you steal your clients’ deposits (mostly women, how ironic!) for services never rendered nor loans repaid? Why run away to Fiji? Where are your morals? Sivia na va Jesus this, God that. God is not to be mocked!
What a bunch of clowns!
Begging pity says
She uses I got abused, I was raised in poverty, I didn’t have shoes to wear, my teachers didn’t believe me.
Many of us go through this.
But good leaders don’t jump another person’s husband. No excuse for that. Same goes to Aseri and his wife, another look at me woman.
Tema says
MGM won the girls Coke games. There is so much racist comments spewed at ex scholars, studets and parents of the school.
Areh idiots, most of the students who competed for the school are Itaukei. Just goes on to show what our mentality as a people has become.
These are the things that should sound warning bells for any society. But no…not foe our circus government, where all is well.
I cant beleive how low life some people in Fiji are, how they see themselves in the mirror each day being racist.
That you are so weak that even the mere existence of others threatens you. I commend those who are openly calling out these racist on social media. Many are civil servants. I bet no action will be taken. When you have a racist government and porn star ministers, all hope is lost.
I am sure many Itaukei parents when they see the shit on Facebook true cry at what they see. What a shit hole place Fiji is fast becoming.
Dont expect this to change with this lot in power. It will only get worse.
iTaukeis in non-iTaukei Schools says
Vinaka, Tema. Your second paragraph reminded me of the government school grant policy back in the 90s. Grants went only to iTaukei schools, while non-iTaukei ones never got a cent.
The then Principal of Suva Sangam High School at Howell Road, the late Hari Raj Naicker, once lamented that their school was ineligible for the grant because it was an Indian school although 100% of their student roll was Fijian (iTaukei).
Schools like Suva Sangam often accepted students who missed out on their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th high school choices out of 5 made at Class 8 . This “weaker” group was usually dominated by iTaukei students. So those iTaukei-led governments were in a big way discriminating against their own iTaukei children. The only difference being that these left-out children were enrolled in Indian-owned and managed schools.
Many lessons to be learnt then, for those racist commentators and especially the Coalition Government itself. Remember to love thy neighbour as thyself, as the Book says.
Sonny says
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in terms of what your are doing to expose these opportunist criminals GF. I am saddened by the state of the government and the state of our beloved a Fiji. The people need a change in mindset as we are living in 2024!
Totally stuffed says
The mentality in Fiji is that if you want to progress and become like Singapore, what you do is ‘elect’ a crackpot from 37 years ago to do the job.
That is the iTaukei mentality at the highest levels and at the lowest levels.
These people are not only donkeys, they are airheads and dickheads.
And they are so proud to be dickheads. And therein lies the problem in Fiji.
There are many Indo Fijians with the same mentality. Very proud dickheads all around. There are just too many of them and so the country is f*cked.
But then, why do they all complain so much after making dickhead choices and being dickheads????
And what is even sadder is that they teach their “churen” this rubbish including the vulagi religion which is totally inappripriate for this group of people and the country.
SoSad says
Interesting to note our respected chiefs will get relevant education through FNU – https://www.fijitimes.com.fj/chiefs-to-train-at-uni/. Isn’t this what discrimination is esp using public taxpayer funds? How about who are not chiefs such as SLR, AR, LT and the like who would also greatly benefit from this in their leadership positions? And then, the no-indigenous people who are bona fide citizens & who are equally part of Fiji but will be discriminated against access to such an opportunity. A dangerous turn for any university for it to run courses based on discriminatory practices! Please check the provision of education for all communities is stipulated in the FNU Act as per the golden rule.
Such a message is sadly allegedly further propelled by our other leaders on USP Council also – see the Fijileaks article under USPGATE of 4/5/2024. It reports a serious misconduct of a Council member as pointed out by MarkS that the referenced public statement ‘endeavours to disturb the public peace by inciting hatred or contempt of any class of person’ as per PUB 15 Act. We sincerely hope appropriate action is taken swiftly to send a clear signal to any potential such other future perpetrators. Law has to be applied to all fairly and equally and not selectively. Not dealing with this issue at the root can potentially further damage to Fiji and the undesirable optics locally and internationally. What are we doing Fiji?
Anonymous says
Well when you have a VC that runs around kissing the a$$ if a minister who should be in prison for domestic violence, these are the policies that will come out of the university.
Our health and water supply were already in the drain, our roads, police and education systems are following suit.
Truly a banana republic we are fast becoming.
What's under that lahenga! says
LT threw a hint.
She wore a yellow bikini to tell Fiji that her lover will be back after serving his yellow card days.
Kadavu power.
She has the PM and Aseri under her lahenga (Indian skirt , also meaning in control).
Fjord Sailor says
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Any human behavioural specialist who analyses that picture will agree that it is of a man whose face is very telling. The slight upward curl of the lips indicate a man who is smiling inwardly, knowing he has become untouchable with his recent elevation of status.
The eyes looking through the crowd indicate a man lost in his thoughts of self glorification. The eyebrows marrying up to show arrogance as he believes he is above everyone and that he is entitled to anything he wants.
The posture is usually taken by someone who is relaxed, knowing he can’t be touched by anyone, legally or otherwise. In fact, this is a familiar image and seen in images of Saddam Hussein during his days of power.
Aseri has proven to the world that no matter how much wrong he does and all the rules he breaks, nothing can be done to him and all he has to do now is take whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Rabuka can no longer touch him…
Entangled affair of threesome says
In some ways, even though I don’t endorse anything about or of Aseri, I think someone has stood up to Rabuka in a very open way. Though both are as corrupt and abusers at all levels, this grotesque show exposes Rabuka as an incompetent leader which he always was. And the other two as manipulation wannabe’s that Fijians will remember (if they have moral ethics) come next election or sooner.
Karma is a bitch and a worse one when entangled with a self entitled bitch (woman) between them.
It's a no brainer says
Carl Sagan once said, “Nothing disturbs me more than the glorification of stupidity.”
It would be hard to find a better example of this.
Tilou Bulou says
What does Radrodro bring to the table anyway?
He is not exceptionally bright. Does not have a vision for Fiji and the itaukei’s place in it that he cares to share.
Is not a gifted public speaker. Writes nothing.
His profession as an auditor, checking the work of others that it is in compliance with established practises and financial procedures.
What the hell is such a person doing in politics anyway. He has nothing to give the country and no one expects anything special to come from him.
An ordinary bloke thrust forward into a level of his own incompetence.
Good analysis says
That’s an informing analysis.
About time same analysis was undertaken for all in Coalition. It will show the level of intelligence, interest, experience and other skills that each person brings.
This is something Fijians should have knowledge given we the taxpayers pay the salary of MPs. It is our responsibility to hold them accountable.
