# WHERE’S RICHARD? MAKING MILLIONS PROTECTING HIS BILLIONAIRE CLIENTS AND DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE

Posted on March 9, 2026 17 Comments

There's something decidedly pathetic about the latest Facebook posting by lawyer Richard "I have the Means" Naidu as he tries valiantly to polish the steaming turd that is his Coalition government. He says it's ours as if it belongs to the rest of us as well. No mate, don't try to drag us into this car-crash. It's yours. And what a sh*tshow it has … [Read more...] about # WHERE’S RICHARD? # “FIJI WATCHER” REPRISED AS THE WEEK CULMINATES IN THE SACKING OF THE SPORTS MINISTER

Posted on March 8, 2026 9 Comments

We continue to get reader feedback about the value of the comments section on Grubsheet, which isn't offered by Victor Lal at Fijileaks and allows contributors here to say as much or as little as they like about my articles or whatever other issues might take their fancy. Amid the customary scathing outbursts or expressions of frustration are … [Read more...] about # “FIJI WATCHER” REPRISED AS THE WEEK CULMINATES IN THE SACKING OF THE SPORTS MINISTER

# DEMOCRACY FIJI STYLE. A MAN IS BEHIND BARS FOR INSULTING THE COALITION’S RESIDENT DRUG-TAKING SLUT

Posted on March 7, 2026 15 Comments

Lynda Tabuya - the Minister for Information, Environment and Climate Change - is an amoral, lying strumpet who was found guilty by her own party of a sex and illicit drugs scandal yet has prospered under the equally amoral leadership of "Rolex Rambo" - the Prime Minister who continues to refuse to disclose the source of a $150,000 gold Rolex watch … [Read more...] about # DEMOCRACY FIJI STYLE. # THE MYSTERY OF THE STANDOFF BETWEEN THE JSC AND THE PRESIDENT DEEPENS

Posted on March 6, 2026 13 Comments

The Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, inexplicably failed to turn up for a scheduled meeting of the Judicial Services Commission yesterday to discuss the continuing stand-off between it and the President, Ratu Naqama Lalabalavu, over the JSC's demand that he remove Lavi Rokoika as Acting FICAC Commissioner. The result was that the much-trumpeted … [Read more...] about # THE MYSTERY OF THE STANDOFF BETWEEN THE JSC AND THE PRESIDENT DEEPENS

# SOCIAL CRUSADER AND JSC MEMBER VANI CATANASIGA VIOLATES THE INDEPENDENCE OF FIJI’S MOST IMPORTANT INSTITUTION OF STATE (UPDATED)

Posted on March 4, 2026 25 Comments

The assault on the independence of Fiji's offices of state under the Coalition government poses a grave threat to our institutions and democracy itself. And regrettably that assault extends to someone who should know better - Vani Catanasiga, the Executive Director of the Fiji Council for Social Services who also happens to be a sitting member of … [Read more...] about # SOCIAL CRUSADER AND JSC MEMBER VANI CATANASIGA VIOLATES THE INDEPENDENCE OF FIJI’S MOST IMPORTANT INSTITUTION OF STATE (UPDATED)

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
