# AN OUTRAGEOUS ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY AS THE COALITION THREATENS THE OPPOSITION FOR CALLING FOR THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE

Posted on October 8, 2025 12 Comments

The call by the Opposition leader, Inia Seruiratu, for the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, to finally "man up" and advise the President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, to suspend the Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, is perfectly legitimate and demonstrably in the national interest. Temo has been accused of perjury and obstructing and perverting the course … [Read more...] about # AN OUTRAGEOUS ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY AS THE COALITION THREATENS THE OPPOSITION FOR CALLING FOR THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE

# REVEALED. JOHN RABUKU’S $100,000 “COMPENSATION” PAYMENT WHEN HE SUFFERED NO LOSS (UPDATED TUESDAY AM)

Posted on October 5, 2025 29 Comments

There is a supreme irony in the fact that the Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, is currently sitting in judgment of Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in the High Court for having allegedly given Mohammed Saneem an unlawful payment when Temo has done the same for John Rabuku, the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions. Evidence has emerged that the Judicial Services … [Read more...] about # REVEALED. JOHN RABUKU’S $100,000 “COMPENSATION” PAYMENT WHEN HE SUFFERED NO LOSS (UPDATED TUESDAY AM)

# THE CONCERTED ATTEMPT, LET’S CALL IT THE CONSPIRACY, TO DESTROY THE SUPREME COURT COMMISSION OF INQUIRY (UPDATED SATURDAY AM)

Posted on October 3, 2025 21 Comments

The news that the Fiji Law Society and the sacked attorney general, Graham Leung, have joined Barbara Malimali and the Judicial Services Commission headed by the rogue Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, in filing applications for judicial reviews to quash the findings of the Ashton-Lewis Commission of Inquiry is startling but predictable. There is now … [Read more...] about # THE CONCERTED ATTEMPT, LET’S CALL IT THE CONSPIRACY, TO DESTROY THE SUPREME COURT COMMISSION OF INQUIRY (UPDATED SATURDAY AM)

# THE USUAL REWARD FOR TREACHERY. MAKE THEM MINISTERS AT THE TAXPAYER’S EXPENSE. (UPDATED MONDAY AM)

Posted on October 3, 2025 30 Comments

Sachida Nand and Shalen Kumar must be feeling very pleased with themselves, having been announced as assistant ministers by Sitiveni Rabuka on the very day their former leader, Frank Bainimarama - to whom they owe their political careers - was again convicted and is set to serve another prison term. Yet many Fijians will hold them in complete and … [Read more...] about # THE USUAL REWARD FOR TREACHERY. MAKE THEM MINISTERS AT THE TAXPAYER’S EXPENSE. (UPDATED MONDAY AM)

# WELL NO SURPRISES HERE. BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR ABOUT THE SKELETON IN SALESI TEMO’S CLOSET THAT IS THE SAME ALLEGATION OF ABUSE OF OFFICE FACING AIYAZ SAYED-KHAIYUM

Posted on October 1, 2025 12 Comments

So as expected, the corrupt Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, has dismissed the application by lawyer Devanesh Sharma that there is insufficient evidence to uphold the case against Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Mohammed Saneem for alleged abuse of office. Unfortunately for Temo, he is about to be unmasked as a hypocrite and the entire state case is going to … [Read more...] about # WELL NO SURPRISES HERE. About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
