One individual - Salesi Temo - masquerading as the Judicial Services Commission as a whole - is using a private law firm of dubious repute to seek a judicial review of the findings of the Supreme Court Commission of Inquiry into the Malimali affair. In truth, they are the findings against Temo himself - that he allegedly committed perjury and … [Read more...] about # THE CORRUPT CHIEF JUSTICE TRIGGERS A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS TO SAVE HIS JOB (UPDATED FRIDAY AM)

# BIBI AND LYNDA. THE ALLEGED WAR CRIMINAL AND FIJI’S ROVING INTERNATIONAL TART (UPDATED FRIDAY AM)

Posted on September 18, 2025 19 Comments

We predicted that Lynda Tabuya would push herself to the forefront of the Prime Minister's visit to Israel and use it as a self-promotion tool but even Grubsheet is shocked by the conduct of the brazen hussy in appearing to put her arm around the Israeli leader, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu. She is the Information Minister, for God's sake. The … [Read more...] about # BIBI AND LYNDA. THE ALLEGED WAR CRIMINAL AND FIJI’S ROVING INTERNATIONAL TART (UPDATED FRIDAY AM)

The rogue Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, has refused an application by Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, to recuse himself from the trial of the former attorney general and that of his co-accused, Mohammed Saneem, despite being demonstrably unfit to judge the case. It will come as no surprise to anyone that Salesi Temo has refused to budge because he clearly … [Read more...] about # THE CROOK IN CHARGE OF THE JUDICIARY REFUSES TO RECUSE HIMSELF FROM THE TRIAL OF AIYAZ SAYED-KHAIYUM DESPITE CLEAR EVIDENCE OF BIAS

# AIYAZ SAYED-KHAIYUM. WHY I CAN’T GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE CHIEF JUSTICE AS THE PRESIDING JUDGE

The trial of Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Mohammed Saneem for abuse of office was due to begin in Suva this afternoon with a sensational twist - the former attorney general lodging a formal request for the Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, to recuse himself and appoint another judge on the grounds that he is biased against Khaiyum. Here's part of the … [Read more...] about # AIYAZ SAYED-KHAIYUM. WHY I CAN’T GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE CHIEF JUSTICE AS THE PRESIDING JUDGE

# PNG REACHES A ‘BITE LIKE A CROCODILE” DEFENCE AGREEMENT WITH AUSTRALIA FOR A “VERY BAD DAY”. IS FIJI NEXT?

Posted on September 16, 2025 10 Comments

Extraordinary details are emerging of a new defence agreement between Australia and Papua New Guinea which like the ANZUS Treaty involving the US and New Zealand, would require PNG to fight with Australia against any external aggressor, including China. The big question that arises for Fiji is whether this would be the same obligation placed on … [Read more...] about # PNG REACHES A ‘BITE LIKE A CROCODILE” DEFENCE AGREEMENT WITH AUSTRALIA FOR A “VERY BAD DAY”. About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
