# IS HE EVEN GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT ELECTION, LET ALONE LEAD THE NATION FOR ANOTHER TERM? (UPDATED WEDNESDAY PM)

Posted on November 5, 2025 49 Comments

The Prime Minister is suddenly looking a shadow of his former self and the antithesis of a virile, commanding national leader. And in response to a reader request for my favourite photo of the Pedophile President on his parambulations around Europe and the Gulf, here he is - stick in hand like his protégé, the Prime Minister - unable to cobo to … [Read more...] about # IS HE EVEN GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT ELECTION, LET ALONE LEAD THE NATION FOR ANOTHER TERM? Hot on the heels of the bizarre allegation by the NFP General Secretary, Kamal Iyer, of a conspiracy led by Alexandra Forwood to derail the government and bring down Biman Prasad comes a counteroffensive on social media on the NFP leader's behalf. A new Facebook page calling itself "Heart of Nation" is extolling Biman Prasad's supposed virtues … [Read more...] about # THE PHANTOM FACEBOOK WARRIORS PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE IN BIMAN PRASAD’S FAVOUR (UPDATED WEDNESDAY AM)

# YAY! HAPPY TO SHARE THAT I’VE BEEN CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION AND FACE A POSSIBLE 12-YEAR JAIL SENTENCE

Posted on November 3, 2025 33 Comments

Manoa Kamikamica and Biman Prasad have both adopted a posture of nonchalance about being charged by FICAC and forced to relinquish their positions as deputy prime ministers and senior cabinet ministers. But Kamikamica has gone to absurd lengths to make light of the charges against him of perjury and giving false information to the Ashton-Lewis … [Read more...] about # YAY! # KAIVITI – WHAT’S IN A NAME. PART THREE OF COMMONMAN’S SERIES ON IDENTITY AND BELONGING

Posted on November 2, 2025 21 Comments

GD writes: In three short weeks, our new columnist from the vanua, CommonMan, has established himself as a Sunday "must read" - a font of commonsense to a great many, an irritation to some but always relevant and thought-provoking. Some of the controversy comes from a sense of disbelief on the part of some readers that a man who can write better … [Read more...] about # KAIVITI – WHAT’S IN A NAME. # TWO YEARS AGO TODAY, RICHARD NAIDU THREATENED TO SUE ME. 730 DAYS LATER, I AM STILL WAITING FOR HIS WRIT

We all know that the wheels of justice turn at a snail's pace at the best of times but the celebrated lawyer and NFP stalwart, Richard "I have the means" Naidu, has set a new record worthy of a slug for threatening legal action for defamation and not following through. On November 2, 2023, Naidu was full of bombast in the following letter to … [Read more...] about # TWO YEARS AGO TODAY, RICHARD NAIDU THREATENED TO SUE ME. 730 DAYS LATER, I AM STILL WAITING FOR HIS WRIT

About Grubsheet

Graham Davis
Grubsheet Feejee is the blogsite of Graham Davis, an award-winning journalist turned communications consultant who was the Fijian Government’s principal communications advisor for six years from 2012 to 2018 and continued to work on Fiji’s global climate and oceans campaign up until the end of the decade.

Fiji-born to missionary parents and a dual Fijian-Australian national, Graham spent four decades in the international media before returning to Fiji to work full time in 2012. He reported from many parts of the world for the BBC, ABC, SBS, the Nine and Seven Networks and Sky News and wrote for a range of newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Graham launched Grubsheet Feejee in 2011 and suspended writing for it after the Fijian election of 2014, by which time he was working at the heart of government. But the website continued to attract hits as a background resource on events in Fiji in the transition back to parliamentary democracy.

Grubsheet relaunches in 2020 at one of the most critical times in Fijian history, with the nation reeling from the Covid-19 crisis and Frank Bainimarama’s government shouldering the twin burdens of incumbency and economic disintegration.

Grubsheet’s sole agenda is the national interest; the strengthening of Fiji’s ties with the democracies; upholding equal rights for all citizens; government that is genuinely transparent and free of corruption and nepotism; and upholding Fiji’s service to the world in climate and oceans advocacy and UN Peacekeeping.
